In His Time

Hubby, Belle, Baby Ezra and I was at Giant just now for dinner. My other two followed my mom and sister to the new Jusco. After dinner we went window shopping. Thought of looking for another belt for hubby and maybe some mens ties.

We ended buying a present for Belle after all for her good exam result. We did not plan too actually coz the agreement was she will only get a reward if she gets 100% in any of her subjects. Upon pressures from many mommies on FB, we ended up buying a storybook, 2 workbook on Multiplication and a workbook on Division for Belle. Her result: English 99, Malay 98, Maths 99, Science 90 and Chinese 93.

And this mommy is so relieved that Belle did not get 1st in class. Get 1st arh, pressure you know. Got to maintain the standard throughout primary school. I have gone through it, I know. I kena cane from my father when I dropped to No. 4 for the first time in Std 4. The principal asked me what went wrong. The so-called good friend of mine became my enemy coz he took my place during mid-term and I took back my 1st position during final exam. Since then, I only befriend the weak in my class.

So, I do not want Belle to go through all this if possible. There are more naughty boys in Belle’s class than mine. They called Belle names (even the monitor called Belle stupid in Mandarin!), stepped on Belle’s school shoe and stick their tongue out at Belle even in my presence. All because Belle is different from the rest. One who does not speak fluent Mandarin like the rest.
