Remember to put water in your car

Belle, Mumbles No Comments »

Few weeks ago, on the way back from hubby’s shop with my children, I have to make a stop at the petrol station nearby not to pump petrol but to top up water in the radiator. Thank God, even though I am driving an old junk, the temperature indicator is still working. If not my children and myself is in heaven now. :P

In the car that night I was nagged by Belle. “Mommy you must remember to put water in your car. You see, now the car is very hot, you cannot drive.” Well, I do not know when will hubby have the time to help me change my car radiator. I am out from the house from 7.30am till 5.30pm. By the time I come home the mechanic shop almost closing and I work on Saturdays too.

Looks like it has to wait till I resign then to get it changed. Well I can buy Toyota Radiator, Honda Radiator or even Ford Taurus Radiator online but I still have to find a local mechanic to fix it for me.

It’s curly. That’s why I have to pull it to show you how long it is. Barnabas back hair will be the same when it grows longer.

Choose your bank carefully

Menceceh, Mumbles No Comments »

My husband had many bad experiences with the bank. Recently, we wrongly estimated the balance of our money in our current account and we had to pay a high penalty for that. We issued out a cheque that was slightly more than the amount left in one of our current accounts. The bank officer called my husband to bank in money to cover the difference. My husband immediately transfered the money online from another account.

The next day, much to our surprise we were charged a penalty of RM50 for that short period of “lack of money”. Hubby sent an email to the bank about this matter and asking for bank charges refund. The bank replied asking us to write a letter to the bank branch manager which hubby did. Now we are waiting for their reply. So far it has been two weeks and they have yet to reply to us.

This is definitely not one off incident. Another friend of mine has experienced the same problem. However, she paid the bank charges without appealing to the bank for cancellation. I hope that those who experienced the same problem would voice out the matter to the higher authorities. There must be restrictions on banks so that they would not simply charge high fees to the customers.

Weird Dream

Mumbles 1 Comment »

I doze off while putting my son back to sleep around 12 something. Within that half an hour, I had a weird dream. I dream that I went to Belle’s kindy to register Clarissa. But that kindy is the Primary School near my place not the usual kindy that I send Belle to. The school has 3 floors. The kindy time is at night. Weird right.

The children were playing at the playground without any lights. I complaint to the nurse then only they fix the spot light at the playground. Yes, the kindy is run by nurses! There is adult class in the kindy too.

At the kindy I felt that I have loose tooth. It can be easily pulled out, like pulling the weeds from the flowers pot. (I was pulling the weed in the evening just now!) Not one tooth but a few of them! It came out with the root, exactly like the weeds’ root. I can still feel the feeling of teeth has been pulled out from my gum now! I think I have been thinking about the girl that got her baby tooth out by using the doorknob coz someone commented on that post and I read it just now.

Also, one of the adult offered me a job! I applied for a job from JobStreet.com before I slept too.

This is another weird one. At the kindy, a girl wearing blue swimsuit jump down from the third floor but missed the water bag, the place that she is supposed to land. She fell on the ground next to the playground. Her blood is blue colour too! I watched her wriggled like a worm due to the pain. This I cannot associate with what I did before bed. :P

I am going to bed now…Praying hard that the dream won’t continue.

Oh ya, the reason my teeth easily pulled out is because I have new teeth coming out!

Study Law

Education, Mumbles 1 Comment »

Their daddy was a law grad from MU, not Manchester United but Malayan University (Universiti Malaya). :P People ask, will my children follow after their daddy footsteps? My answer, “I will doubt it. Sure their daddy will discourage them coz he is not one now.” hehe…

Here’s a funny joke that I read from Bryan Soh’s blog. I hope he don’t mind me sharing it here.

UK Immigration Officer: Purpose of visit?

Visitor: I’m here to study law, sir.

Officer: You know, you must have a lot of lawyers in Malaysia.

Visitor: Why do you say that?

Officer:
Well, i’ve been here for a good twenty years, and I’d say 80% of Malaysians I see here say they’re here to read law.

Visitor: Oh, really? That’s really something i never knew. Hard to believe in fact.

Officer:
Just you watch, then. You just stand here until the next Malaysian comes along, and I’ll bet he’s here to read law.

*Visitor waits for 5 mins, Ah Chong from Malaysia comes to immigration counter*

Officer:
Mr. Ah Chong, purpose of visit?

Ah Chong:
Study lorr…

I really had a good laugh after read it! At least it kept me awake for another half an hour before I leave office to sleep!!!

My itchy hand went to delete all the files in my company’s pendrive that I use to backup the files in my PC without realizing that my draft for The Food at Suria KLCC is in there. I thought I saved that in my personal pendrive and…that’s the longest post!

*Long Long Long Sigh* Today I am extra sleepy, causes me to have no mood to rewrite it again! I am so so so so sleepy. Hubby woke me up a few times last night asking for passwords! Disrupted sleep equals to NO sleep! :P

I think I will take half day off today and go home to sleep and blog after that.
