In His Time

It all started with playing “Catch me Wave.”

Clarissa didn’t get herself wet at all. That is the nearest she went near the water.

Going off balance.

Mommy stopped snapping and run to the rescue. He got himself wet and requesting me to change him. “No need lar…just go get yourself wet some more.”

He insisted me to change him but this mommy was snapping away. He cried and shee-shee in his shorts. Ok lar, since shee-shee already, have to change lor…

After stripping him off, I went to car to get his dry clothes. While waiting for me, he paraded his baju-less body on the beach! He refused to wear his shirt and shorts until we were about to head home half an hour after that.

This is the most decent one. Got lots of others showing his cute lil bum but that I shall keep for his viewing only when he became a young man!

It is so difficult for me to snap a decent picture of Clarissa. When I say “Clarissa! Smile” Then will immediately make funny faces of the camera. Then I would tell her that I won’t snap her picture. She will go, “Ok, ok, I smile.” But seconds before I press the shutter button, she will start making her silly faces.

I really envy her smooth flawless face and I always pray that she won’t have my hormones that produces lots of pimple and needing to spend a lot of money on acne cream.

I received my first Bento Tools from HK yesterday. So I head to the nearest supermarket to buy bread, cheese and chocolate spread.

Upon reaching home, my girls wanted to eat the bread and they wanted a bunny sandwich. So I did one and left the table to catch some opp. While I was busy at the computer, they got themselves busy too. Look what happened to my bread and my Bento Tools!

They made their own bunny, teddy bear and elephant sandwich! I think they thought that those cutters are toys! Thank God I kept the cheese in the fridge already. If they do this often arh, wasting my food, I will need to look for mortgage lenders to refinance my apartment for more money! =P

Gonna make my first Bento breakfast for my girls today.

We experienced Malacca City Tour on Double Decker Bus in Sept last year with the girls and another time with Msau and Jess family when they came to visit. It was my first time seeing Malacca from above. It was totally a different view; some parts are more beautiful than looking from down under and certain parts are better to be viewed from down below.

I planned to hop on the bus again when Barnabas is older; maybe when he is 3 years old. I hope by then, there will be much more to see and the bus will make more stops for us to snap pictures of the Historic Malacca. I hope I would not become history by then!

Before I talk about toys. Let me tell you the story behind the above picture of Barnabas playing with his trucks which I bought from the wholesale toys shop two days ago.

Every morning Barnabas sleep will be interupted at 7am when I wake his sisters up for school. By 8am, he will wake up when I carry him to the car to send him to my mom’s before sending his sisters to school. The only day that he can wake up later is on weekends. So I decided to let him sleep over at my mom’s on Sunday night so that he can have enough sleep after a whole day of fun on Sunday.

The thing with most mommies is, we will deeply miss our child/children when they are away especially one that sleeps under your armpit and cuddles you like a teddy bear when sleeping. I kept thinking about him the whole night and even heard his cries for me!

So today, after sending the girls to school I went to pick him from my mom’s and brought him home to have one on one time with him playing with his boys’ toys; blogging can wait. You see, when his sisters are around, he will normally play all the girls toys with his sisters!

Look at what their daddy and uncles did last Sunday. Thanks to them, my children are now enjoying more outdoor activities; not that they do not have enough of it but now they have more reason to stay away from the TV and computer.

Oh ya! When they play outdoor right, when nature calls, they give it back to nature. Strip, squat, shee-shee! Hahahahaha.

Surprisingly hubby woke up early this morning; before I sent the girls to school. So I dragged him along for breakfast. After breakfast, I decided to have some mother and son time alone. Offered daddy to come along but he’d rather hit the bed! So off we went to Klebang Beach which is less than 5 minutes drive from my house.

Happy to see him having fun and waved me Goodbye as he rode away from me! Sign that he is becoming more independent? Well, he didn’t go far from me. Then I heard him say “Mo Mommy” and he made a U turn, abandon his horse and stood near me.

For that moment, my worries and stress were suppressed. And I don’t regret quiting my full time job.

If I am going to do this often, I might want to get those cute little ipods to keep my ears entertained when he rode far away from me.

After writing a cheque to pay for my Citibank credit card bill, I couldn’t find the envelope that comes with the bill. After searching my room, I found below:

Belle drew on the envelope! I find it quite nice and this is sure gonna be one unique envelope. This is the best shot I could get as my home lighting is not that bright.

But, before I managed to post it out, hubby saw it and make me erase the drawings or change to a new envelope! He said that Pos Malaysia will surely reject the envelope. Really cannot eh? Anyway, not wanting my cheque not to arrive on time and I’ll get penalized for late payment, I erased since the stamp is already pasted there.

I was busy watching CSI and blogging at the same time and he was busy viewing the pics in my camera. After getting bored browsing all the pics, he explores and found the shutter button (the button that you press to take a picture). Got so excited that lights come out from the camera (flash) when he presses the button then he started snapping away until I snatch the camera from him!

On Father’s day, Daddy got 2 Chicken Pox kids. And he went to church without us.

We served him with Sweet Sour Crabs; for lunch and dinner!

Being a Daddy, he brought us for a walk at the beach; Chicken Pox set aside!

Mommy missed the time when Mommy get to sit up there; longgggg time ago.

For supper, we went for ABC with Belle. The other 2, asleep already. Noticed the white dots on Belle’s face? That’s Chicken Pox covered with Calamine!

Oh ya, we didn’t get any present for daddy. Not even office supplies for his shop. He said “Don’t waste money” mah.

Two years ago, no blogger knows that I was pregnant with him! My biggest and longest secret. And today he is TWO! And he is my echo. Love echoing me, especially when I nag his sisters!

We did not plan to have any birthday party. Do not want to trouble other family members spending money for him. Since today is his day, I took leave to spend the day with him plus Clarissa too because she is not completely clear from the chicken pox.

We left home at 10am and back only by 3pm, exhausted; him not me.

Brought them to McD at Dataran Pahlawan to play at the playground and me, trying out for the first time Big Breakfast. Verdict; not gonna buy it again! The bread taste and smell funny! Liat pulak tu! I thought it is supposed to be muffin???

Anyway, they had half an hour of fun at the playground. On the way to the car, I saw an aeroplane. Not in the sky but on the ground. If you have been to Banda Hilir, near the public pool, you would see an aeroplane and a train there.

He was so excited to see his “Pearpearplane” up close. Then we walked towards A’Famosa but before we arrived there, he complaint, “Hot, hot”! That’s my Putera Licin! So to the shopping complex we went in and brought a pair for t-shirt and shorts for him.

Next stop, is to get his hair cut because everyone thought he is a girl. So I promised hubby that I will give him a boy on June 12! So we went to the hair saloon 2 doors from daddy’s shop. Only RM3 and a small cut on his earlobe which Barnabas didn’t even realized he got a cut. I am cool with it. It is not easy to cut someone’s hair if he moves so much. Well, at least this time, he did not cry.

Good to have daddy’ shop nearby because I get to bathe him and get all the hair off his body then off we went to Tesco to get his birthday cakes frm Secret recipe. But before that, I let them have another half an hour of fun at Tesco playground and a ride on the horse. Then a quick shopping; he got a box of chocolate.

As for his birthday cake, I bought 5 different type of cakes.

By the time we got home, he got so cranky coz it was passed his nap time. After a bottle of milk, he knocked out! I got sometime to rest my back coz I got an backache from carrying him too much today!

After a light dinner, we sang him his Happy Birthday song. And let him play till after 11pm!

And today, he is extra sticky to me. Want me ALL the time. Syiok already Mommy brought him out for some fun today.

Well, time to keep your baby bedding already.

Before the Fish Spa I prepared Belle & Clarissa by telling them that the fish has no teeth. They don’t bite but will only nibble. Belle agreed to try it but not Clarissa. She tagged along but dare not put her feet in. We forced; she screamed and wailed her lung out in fear. LOL.

Belle was reluctant in the beginning but knowing her, someone who loves physical sensation; she loves massage, put her foot in after observing what happened to us. It started with one foot, then the other and then her whole legs. She even wanted to sit inside the pool like me but the water is too deep for her.

She is still wearing her kindy t-shirt because I did not expect her to come in with us!

Oh ya, the place is called Dr Fish in Melaka. They do offer body massage and foot reflexology besides Fish Spa and they do have nice glass sink in their massage room.

I like this one. No need to stop to drink water. And if there is any pile of cowdung on the field that comes his way, can use the bulldozer in his hand to push it away.

Clarissa prefers to just bounce on the ball.

Belle can dribble the ball quite well eh. She played with her daddy a few times and she must be a fast learner too.

The maid caught it. We have many of them flying around our house. Poor baby. Will get the maid to let it go.

Then later, BIL brought back 2 puppies for my children to play. They are the neighbour’s and NO we are not going to rear them.

Update: May 14. Clarissa accidentally let the baby bird escape. She was playing with the lid and reading the baby shower invitations and I think she didn’t realised that she lifted it up quite high and the baby bird managed to fly away. I am very happy that it escapes.

This is what I saw people do when they are at the beach.

Our first deep was in the children’s water park. No pictures though coz Mommy went with us. We don’t like the place at all. The slides are not slippery at all. We have to drag out cute butt butt to slide down. We should have asked Mommy to smear some baby oil on our butt butt.

We spend most of our time in the made made pool. Screaming our lung out when Daddy brought us to the deeper side and tried to let us go.

Do you buy travel health insurance when going for holidays?

Normally those I see playing the paintball is the adult that wants to realize their childhood dream of playing combat combat. When I was very small, I have my collection of the green combats too. Normally I will play them by myself because there is a 4 years gap between myself and my 1st sibling. When I grew a lil bit older, I played with my uncles. Instead of the paintball, they make their own pistol using the guava branches and the fruit as the seeds. It is very painful if you got hit by the “bullet”.

Thank God now we have the paintball. With their attire and proper equipment by dye paintball and other major brands, the player do not have to suffer so much paint playing combat games.

Can you guess what animal is that? Yes, it is a bunny.

So comfortable sleeping on Belle’s lap.

No…I did not buy another pet for Belle.

They are on loan for just half an hour
before they are sent to their new owner.

They are hoping that the bunnies mommy will
give birth to more baby bunnies and they might
have them as their pet soon.

Eldest BIL family who is living in a Palm Oil Estate breeds them. Those bunnies are for a church member.

Can I have the above put up on my birthday? You laugh arh? You tell me the truth? You sure don’t wanna try it???

Let me put it this way…can I have the above from Water Slide Party Rentals for my children’s birthday? Ahhhh…that’s sound more appropriate right? But then arh, mommy have to slide with them, they scare to slide down the Inflatable Party Rentals by themselves.

See, see, in the end, mommy also can have fun right? So what is wrong getting the Party Rentals company put up the water slide on mommy’s birthday? Both mommy and children will play together too. =P

He came into my room, saying…

“Mom, mo (want) nolp (milk)”

“No.” pointing to something on the bed.

I took a peep. “Oh, you want to feed baby milk arh?”

He nodded.

Pick up the baby doll his sisters’ abandon and the milk bottle, place the baby on his lap and start feeding the baby.

So cute and I quickly search for my camera and snap away.

He will be a very good daddy next time. Any mommy wanna book him?

We are so excited about tomorrow. We will be going to Monkey School instead of Kindy School.

This will be the first field trip for my girls and I am tagging along. Worried that they do not want to return home after meeting so many of their kinds there.

Guess where are going?

When I was in the Snow World, I really thank God that I am living in Malaysia even though every other day I would complain on the hot weather and dreaming about living in “Snow World”. I can’t wait to get out from there and head for the hot sun but since we paid so much for it, we stayed until our time is almost up; we came out earlier coz my lil Clarissa can’t stand the coldness.

Out from the cold, into the hot water we went. Not immediately though. We walked all the way back to our room and changed to our swimming attire and walk all the way back to First World Indoor Theme Park into the Rainforest Splash Pool.

The water is really really hot. At first we felt like needles poking our legs when we first step foot into the water but after a lil while we got adjusted to the temperature. Oh! It was a bliss. We had a good massage from the water fountain. We had so much fun sliding down the water slide. I did the forbidden way of going down the slide and reminded my girls not to follow what I did! Hehehe. Instead of just sitting down and slide down, I lay down on my tummy and go leg first then head first, then hubby follow suit! We had so much fun doing things that we weren’t allowed to when we were kids.

Enough about Daddy and Mommy, let’s talk about Belle and Clarissa since this is their blog.

Belle did not go on the water slide in the beginning. She just observes Clarissa and me went on it for a few rounds. First round, I hold Clarissa’s arm and we slide down together. Second round onwards, I let her go. Later she went up there all by herself. And then played at other smaller slides all by herself. She is one brave and daring girl.

Belle, I hold her arm for the first and second round and on the third round I planned to let her go. On the way up the slide, she kept telling me to hold her but I did not answer her because I am not going to hold her this time. Notti Mommy hor?

So we sat down together but I let her go and slide down all by herself. I was expecting her to scream and scold me once I reached down there but she smile and told me that she want to do it again all by herself. Yay! Breakthrough!!!

At first I went with her a few rounds then later she went with Clarissa while I waited at the end of the slide.

We played there until they girls really had enough and willingly came out from the pool.

For me, this is the best part of the Theme Park. If I go there again with just hubby, I think I will splash there again.

Thanks to Clarissa, she shared her germs with me and I am having runny nose too. Sore throat has gone though.

Ride De Paris. They sat at least 5 rounds at different time though.

Carousel. Horsey rides. I was tempted to hop on one myself but hubby signed me to watch over them.

Reindeer Cruiser. We sat on all the family rides besides the Venice Gondola and Monorail because they out of service. My girls kept asking for to sit in the Caterpillar, that’s the Monorail. Next trip ya, girls.

We had so much fun at the Rainforest Splash Pool. I am going to write a post on it soon.

We love our spacious room at Theme Park Hotel. Hmm…I can’t recall whether I see any roller shades there or not.

Since my legs is aching from too much walking, this is what we did last night.

He enjoyed it so much because on rare occasion Mommy would let him waste the powder.

Later Clarissa joined in the fun too.

First thing when we stepped in the Theme Park, Belle ask for her Snow. She wasn’t interested to try the rides but since we are there, I “encouraged” her to sit a few rides until she gets cranky and hungry.

After lunch at Marry Brown, we went to look for the Snow World.

The children jacket is too HUGE for Clarissa and gloves too. So both of them went in without gloves. I told them to keep their hands in the sleeves. I thought my nose going to drop off! -6′C!!!

Snow World is too cold for Clarissa. Her lips cracked. She can’t wait to go out! I didn’t know that her lips cracked until she told me that her lips got lipstick! Due to the cracks, it caused her lips to feel a lil bit numb and heavy. It feels like wearing lipstick I guess.

Belle enjoyed it. She even made a Snow Angel. “Mommy, I want to lie down” and started lifting up and down her arms. “Oh! You want to make Snow Angel?” “Yes” she replied. I hold her head as I do not want to her hair to get wet. Too bad we can’t bring our camera along. Get them to take is way too costly.

If I am the earth, I would be laughing hysterically now or maybe I would have exploded because there are so many, I mean SO MANY cars tickling me now.

Should I get a pair now? Since her birthday is coming soon or should I wait for another 2 years? Since I did promise her that she can only have a pet when she is 7yo.

Each time when I bring Belle shopping with me, she will aim for those pet toys. To date, she has a pet hamster, monkey, pony and kitten.

At what age, do you think they would be able to care for a pet?

psst…i think Belle will go crazy seeing the above super cute hamster. i am so tempted to get a pair for myself now!

Shower faucets are microphone to my girls and gun/pistol to me. Shoot them when they do not want to rinse the soap on their body. And they will always fight for it because in each bathroom there is only one.

To Barnabas, the shower faucet is a lollipop because all I see he did when he managed to grab hold of it is licking it. He loves licking the water from the faucet!

How long do you spend bathing your children? Mine will take as long as one hour to bathe all three of them plus myself.

It is a challenge to get all three into the bathroom but once they are in, it is also another challenge to get them out of there.

Firstly, I will have to allow them to bring along their favorite toys, even those that is not water proof. Then they would need handkerchief to bathe their dolls and later, after they got bored with their toys, they will “help” to clean the bathroom fixtures.

In between play and clean, I will drag one at the time to soap and scrub them.

The school holiday has started and one of the brothers returned for the weekend. This family has never been to the eldest BIL’s home in Tebong. So we joined them there. We were at Tebong Palm Oil Estate from 3pm-8pm yesterday. 5 hours of fun and relaxation.

I love their house and the environment there. It is very green, very huge; the house and the compound and very serene. Great place for a family retreat. His office room in his house is as huge as the office space Connecticut.

I played tennis which I left since I left varsity. Almost a decade ago! I still did not completely loose my swing.

The children had fun playing piano, organ, sand, cycling and picking up the tennis balls.

All ready to go fishing; for the boys only. Hubby caught one Soon Hock (Marble Fish)!

This doggy is super friendly named Nelly. Kept jumping on me and chasing everyone that has food in their hand.

I managed to steal some time to read a book title The Lost Boy by Dave Pelzer.

The children are very excited when I told them that we are going to Genting Highland to play at the theme park. “Mommy, I do not want to ride on the roller coaster. It is so scary.” Belle said. Aiya, no fun like that. I am aiming for the roller coaster. If I have more moolah, I would want to ride on a bigger and more chikek roller coaster if I can get good deals on Orlando Hotel.

Anyway, I am been using this coming trip to threaten encourage them to do their homework and behave well!
