Snacks for Church

Barnabas, Belle, Clarissa, Dove, Food, Parenting 13 Comments »

Every Sunday when we go to church I will surely bring some food and snacks for my children. We normally don’t have enough time to eat our breakfast at home because we usually wake up later on Sunday and we have to be in church by 10am which we hardly do. :P

Last Sunday was their Daddy’s turn to preach during church service. So I make sure everyone is awake by 8.30am because I do not want the preacher to be late.

I packed extra food because we can’t leave right after the preaching has ended. There might be altar call and hubby needs to pray for them.

This is what I packed for them: 3 fat sausages, 1 full medium size tupperware of Fried Bee Hoon, 3 Bananas and I make sure Barnabas have his milk before we leave.

They wallop all the sausages during the journey to church.

Once we entered the mother’s room, they ask for their Bee Hoon. Gone in 15mins!

15 mins later, they saw the banana. They ate in two batches. By the time their daddy starts to preach, no more food and water (2 milk bottles) for them!

Then they started pooping. Of course they get hungry after that.

During preaching, they wallop other mommy’s snacks; biscuit and cornflakes! Eh! Mommy malu tau!!!

Next Sunday, I am going to fill my Dove tote bag with cornflakes, honey stars, biscuits and chocolates; for them and also for other children too.

Children arh, no matter how nice are our snacks, other people’s snacks still taste better. Hor? Hor?

Nice or not Belle’s drawing? I noticed that she is learning to draw nicer faces.

BUT…she drew on the wrong piece of paper. That’s her daddy’s sermon notes. Not the old ones but the one that he is preparing for this Sunday’s preaching. Daddy got a lil bit upset but did not scold her; she cried anyway. ;)

Knowing that she loves to draw, I bought a sketch book for her but she seldom want to draw there. She will still draw on any other papers but not in her sketch book.

When asked “Why?” Her reply, “Wait finished how?” I told her that I will buy new ones but she still try not to use her sketch book whenever possible.

To me, her drawing is precious but to her, she will draw when inspiration comes. No time to take out her sketch book to draw. ;)

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Easter is not about colourful eggs and bunnies.

Easter is the pivotal point of Christian faith. It is the turning point of all history, when the God who became man in Jesus died on the cross and ROSE from the grave. That is the reason we celebrate Easter; our Saviour lives.

Old cars have no value now unless they are those antic cars. Some of my rich church members always donate car to the pastor or other church members that are without a car.

If you are living in US and have old junk to dispose and do not know who to give them too, please call Car Angel (www.carangel.com). It is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens.

My Little Lamb

Belle, Dove, Entertainment, Fun, Parenting 1 Comment »

Belle did so well in the nativity act. Just watch the clips. She really sings and “dance” along compared to the rest beside and behind her. Actually they are not supposed to dance but to just be still. What a bore, right? Thank God the teachers don’t discourage those that want to follow along.

Next year, I am pretty sure she no longer wants to be a lamb. I already told her teachers to let her dance next year. Belle loves to dance, just like her mommy. :)

Merry Christmas!

Donate Boat

As Melaka (or also known as Malacca) would have its own Marine Theme Park in 2 years time, I am sure there would be an increase of marine based activities. Come to think of it, Melaka was famous for its port in the past. It was the most important port in the South East Asia region because of its strategic location. The Straits of Malacca was named after Malacca. The past is past and marine activities has decline until now. Hopefully with the Marine Theme Park, marine activities would increase in Malacca.

Talking about marines, there is one organization that is asking people to Donate Boat to the organization. Yes, boat donations. The organization is involved in helping children and youths and is looking for various supports from the public. One of the ways that they raise supports for their programs is by accepting boat donations and then sells the boat on ebay. With the sales they want to create and distribute absolutely free of charge Children’s Animation DVDS.

Maybe when the marine theme park is completed and I have my own boat or canoe. I am thinking of going for canoeing with my husband along the Melaka coast. Once we can afford a few other boats, I can Donate my Boat to Boatangel for their programs.

That day was Daddy’s birthday. It falls on Sunday, so we went to church first and Mommy planned to celebrate it at Jusco KFC with a small cake from Jusco’s bakery after church.

On the same day, there was Children’s Christmas Party in church. So, you (Belle) had fun singing and playing games. Here’s one of it:

banana

Eating banana with one hand. Btw, while you were eating, your brother kidnap a banana from the basket!

banana1

Look! They just enjoyed banana.

bas

Barnabas looking for Mommy. When he couldn’t see Mommy, he went to the door!

Mommy has to bring one after another to the toilet to ngk-ngk before we leave church.

Due to problem at your daddy’s shop, we were stuck there until 2pm. So you just ate the Fried Bee Hoon that Mommy prepared that morning. Then we went home instead of Jusco coz everyone is getting cranky due to sleepiness. Mommy and Barnabas nap while Clarissa and you played.

At night, we have a lot of guest at home and finally after some of them went back, we celebrated Daddy’s birthday with Mak, Uncle Daniel and family, Joash’s daddy and mommy and daddy’s football kaki.

bday

There’s only Daddy and you because it is pass Clarissa’s and Barnabas’ bedtime. They were sleeping.

Daddy did not get the volcom clothing that he is eyeing for but a Timex sports watch which he really needs coz Daddy’s old watch stopped ticking.

So, that was December 16, 2007.

Bedtime Prayer

Clarissa, Dove, Parenting No Comments »

Every night, if I don’t forget or my girls doze off the moment their head touches the bed, they will request me to pray for them. I will have a standard prayer for them and add more personal prayer after the standard prayer.

Here is my standard prayer…

Jesus Bless (insert name) with Good Night Rest, Sweet Dream and Healthy Body

Have been praying this prayer for them since they were born.

Since they can speak well now, I requested them to pray for me instead.

“Clarissa, pray for Mommy. Ask Jesus to bless Mommy.”

Normally she will pray exactly like how I pray for her; the standard prayer but today, I think she is hungry because she asked for milk after that. This is what she prayed for me just now.

She laid her hand on my forehead…
“Jesus, Thank You for this FOOD, Bless it into my body, In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.”

“Oi! You want to eat Mommy ah???”

Then only she realised that she prayed the wrong prayer and started laughing!

I am shy, Mommy!

During the church camp, the adults and the children are separated so that the adults can listen to the preaching without distraction from the children.

Belle stayed put in the children’s class which they call kindergarten church but not Clarissa. Half way she will cry and want me. :(

playtime

Even though Belle stays in the class, she will normally not participate in any games that they play. She will sit in a circle and close her eyes when told too but when it is her turn to play she will refuse to participate. She will tell me that she is shy!

craft

Here’s some crafts done by the children. 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread.

Almost A Pilot

Dove, General No Comments »

Back in 1994, I befriend a handsome young pilot-to-be. He is a Penang guy who is studying at the Flying Academy here. I got to know him because we attended the same church. He was a straight A student, very talented in music too. He plays almost all the musical instrument; drum, guitar, violin, piano, organ, saxophone and whatever instrument that he can get his hand on. He self learned all those, no music class for him and he is a worship leader too. Besides that he is a very good swimmer, a life guard too. To me, he is the perfect guy. But I do not have love feelings towards him ok, I am much in love with my hubby (then boyfriend). :P

His time on earth was not long when God decided that he is more needed in heaven than earth and took him back home through a plane crash. It was very shocking for me and everyone in church. It happened on the last paper of my major exam and we were supposed to travel together to Genting Highland to attend the church camp the next day. Instead, we (me and my other friends) travel to Penang for his funeral.

I wasn’t sure how the fatal accident happened but I am sure his parent looked for the best Aviation Law Firms and got themselves an Aviation Attorney to investigate and get full compensation for their losses.

Boat Angel

I live near the beach. Not within walking distance but it will only be a 5 minutes drive if I want to have a stroll or jog at the beach which I usually do when I am free. Along the beach there are a few fishing boats that are abandoned. It looks like abandon to me because it was not cover or well kept. If it was mine and I do not need them anymore, I would sell it or if no one wants, I would just donate it to Boat Angel. Boat Angel is part of CarAngel .com too where they help the poor, needy and the outcast.

BoatAngel
uses the proceeds to help at-risk kids through the Boat Angel Outreach Center. For example, a center at Queen Creek Arizona produces young men of God through a one year Bible School & Ministry Training program and multiple daily services where boys leaving a life of drugs, alcohol and gangs are taught new life skills through the One Year Bible School based entirely on the Word of God.

They also use the proceeds to create uplifting FREE Christian movie in the form of DVD’s for kids about the Adventure of Donkey Ollie. (www.donkeyollie.com) They will ship them to the Church or Preschool or other children’s group absolutely free; they will even pay the postage! That is why the need as much donations that they can get from people like us. So, do you have a boat or a car that is not needed anymore? Donate to them.

For A Good Cause

Even though my car is an old junk, he never fails me while I was driving on the road with my children or by myself. Maybe there is a car angel that looks after my car. :D However, Belle has been urging me to change car. “Mommy, I want a big car like Nat Nat’s.” You see, Nat’s dad is driving a Toyota Unser. I am also thinking of changing to a newer car because my current car would not start if I do not use it for a day or on cold, rainy day. Since it is an old junk, I think I would just give it away to those who really need it. No point selling as it has any value any more.

There is actually a Car Angel Ministries in Los Angeles. It is a non-profit organization that helps the needy like orphans, homeless, single mothers and even ex-prisoners to go on living in this world. It manages Car Donations in Los Angeles. If I were to live in there, I would Donate My Car in Los Angeles and help this L.A. Car Donation organization to help others.

Even if you car cannot move, the Car Angel will send a tow truck to take your car away. Save you the hassle of sending it by yourself to the junk yard and you will get tax deduction too.

Give Thanks

Belle, Clarissa, Dove, Parenting 1 Comment »

Almost every night I would pray for each on of my children. Normally, I will repeat the same word in the first few sentences like “Jesus bless Annabelle with good night rest, sweet dream and healthy body.” The rest is whatever they requested me to pray for/about. Most of the time, if I leave out or did not say the first sentence in my prayer in sequence, they would tell me that it is wrong.

Last night, we settle down for bed quite late. Almost 12mn and I was too sleepy so I told the girls to pray for themselves. They prayed. Amazing! And the most amazing part is, they give thanks first to Jesus for their day which I did not! Shame on me. Only “ask” from God but did not give thanks to Him for His blessings. Actually got lar but not in the first line. :P

No wonder Jesus love the little children. :D

Touching People Changing Lifes

Dove, Finance No Comments »

It is always a joy to see people’s lives changed to the better. The July-August 2007 Mission Frontiers magazine touched on a startling fact about slavery. In September 2003, an article in National Geographic Magazine reported, “there are more slaves today than were seized from Africa in four centuries of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The modern commerce in humans rivals illegal drug trafficking in its global reach – and in the destruction of lives”. Whether it is forced labour or forced prostitution, the victims are slaves, not of their own free-will. And with the help of International Justice Mission, these people are being rescued and given help to start a chance to live freely.

Another work that is worth mentioning is the work of Wycliffe. Its members are doing another kind of transforming lives. They focus on breaking the spiritual bondage that is affecting millions and billions of people in the world. We were all slaves at one time, slaves to sin. Some are still in that bondage and have yet to know the truth that can set them free. It is the work of Wycliffe members to translate Bible into different languages so that the people can read about the freedom that they can have from sin. This kind of work surpasses that of physical bondage. Indeed those who found spiritual freedom in Jesus Christ will know that nothing is more satisfying than having the bondage of sin being lifted up and lives cleansed.

Are you going to be bald

Belle just asked me recently this question, “Mommy, why Mama has so little hair? I have a lot of hair, Mommy.” “Well, when you become old, you hair will drop and if you don’t take care of your hair, you will become bald.” I explained. “Mommy, you hair drops a lot on the floor too! Are you going to be bald???” “Not so soon, Mommy is still young.” I replied. :P

Well, to whose who are really balding, no worries okay. Dr. Larry Shapiro from Florida Hair Transplant can help you. Dr. Larry Shapiro does hair transplants for men & women in South Florida. He has more than 17 years of experience and you will meet him personally during consultation as they do not have salesman like other hair transplant clinic. Inner Beauty

Beauty, Dove No Comments »

I read so much about celebrity doing plastic surgery to make them more beautiful and youthful. Beverly Hills plastic surgery is getting very good business since most of the popular and famous artist is living there. I am sure the Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon is making tones of money making those artist more beautiful.

Sometimes when I look at my face in the mirror, I wish I can do the same but a voice in me will whisper. “Hey, beauty is from within.” Even God said in 1 Peter 3:3 & 4, “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment… Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” That is so true. Even you have pretty face but ugly character; no one would want to be your friend. They will by their first impression but will definitely shun away from her after knowing her inner “beauty”.

Jesus Heal Me

Belle, Dove, Parenting 1 Comment »

Last month Belle was sick for almost a week. When she is better, she told me that Jesus heal her. She continued telling me that Jesus woke her up when she was sleeping and talk to her! When I asked her what did Jesus told her, she just said that Jesus heal her.

What do you think? Do you believe that Jesus appears to her? I do coz the bible says that Jesus loves the little children especially their simple faith. Almost every night before she goes to sleep, she will pray a very simple praying asking Jesus to heal her and take away her pain-pain.

I think, Jesus did tell her to take care of her body coz nowadays, whenever I offer her chocolate, she will tell me, “Mommy I cannot eat chocolate, later I coughing.” If she really wants to eat, she will ask permission from me and only eat a lil bit.

Dear Jesus, can you please tell Belle to be more obedient and not rude to me? :D

Cheng Beng

What is Cheng Beng to me? A day where everyone will come back. The men will go to clean the graves of our ancestors, the women will cook lotsa of yummy dishes and the children will be running around playing with their cousins. It is also known as All Souls Day.

I noticed that Cheng Beng always coincide with Easter Sunday. The day of Jesus Resurrection. The day where Jesus rise from the dead and gives hope of eternal life to all that believe in Him.

Jesus heals

Belle, Dove, Health, Parenting No Comments »

Belle is so much better today. She is back to normal. No more tilted head and no more fever. You know, before sleep, she prayed for herself. She told me that Jesus is in her heart and that he can take away her pain. So I told her to pray every time when she feels the pain. “Jesus, please take away my pain pain. Jesus, please heal me. In Jesus Name, Amen.” That’s her prayer. A child’s faith.

As a Christian parent, I am very happy that she finally understand (not so sure how much she understood) that Jesus is her healer. Remember the other day, the skin on her lips drop off? She told me that Jesus healed her.

It is time to explain to her the deeper concept about God and John 3:16.

Belle kindy principal called me at my office yesterday informing that another 4 years old is diagnose with hand, mouth and foot disease, telling me to inform him if Belle got the symptoms and told me to not bring Belle to school today. That’s not a problem to me as I already planned not to send Belle to school today.

Actually, I am not worried at all about Belle coz I know that she is in God’s hand and we prayed everyday that God will keep her strong and healthy everyday. The other day, the skin on her lips peeled. It didn’t peeled completely. It just dangles on her lips. So I told her to wet it with her tongue and it will slowly drop by itself. The next day it dropped. She told me. “Mommy, look at my lips. No more skin. Jesus heals me already.” That really made me happy coz she knew that Jesus is her healer. :D

Church

Dove 2 Comments »

Finally we decided to settle down at GBM, Gateway Church situated at Taman Merdeka. It is a BM church with bilingual service. BM & English. Service is on Sunday, 10am, but we usually arrive there at 10.30am! Still have not adjusted my timing in getting my children ready on time. Lots of Indonesian there. Workers and some married to the local here. They are quite a number of Babas & Nyonyas too as the pastor is a Nyonya too. A lady pastor.

As a mother of younglings, this church suits my needs. They have a small room for mothers to breastfeed and we can listen to the service at the same time. No men allowed. Just flip our blouse and breastfeed. To date, I have seen a few variations of nen-nen already! kekekekeke. For my other 2 years old and 3.5 years old, they have kindy class for them, where the teachers just snatch them from me and tell me, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of them and returned them to you only if they can’t stop crying!” What a relief! So, hubby and I can sit in the service and listen to the message peacefully. :D

As a believer, I enjoy the “lead by the spirit” kinda worship and preaching. Sometimes the worship can last for more than an hour. Due to my children, we usually leave right after the message and do not stay on to mingle around.

I think ah, as a lady, we are quite “cheong hei” long winded. The pastor is very open and detailed in everything that she conveys. It is good that the pastor make known to the members in detail what’s happening in the church. We like her style.

The children enjoyed themselves the most. Playground, cool girly toys, lollipops, party packs, Christmas gifts, chocolates and most important, each other.

Half way thru, Clarissa came to me, “Mommy, I want to go home.”

When it’s time to go home, Belle said to me, “Mommy, you go home first, later come fetch me.”

This morning, Belle, “Mommy, let’s go to Yu Chen’s house.” :D

Teaching our teens why abstinence works

Dove 3 Comments »

An article from BBN.

I was holding a notice from my 13-year-old son’s school announcing a meeting to preview the new course in sexuality. Parents could examine the curriculum and take part in an actual lesson presented exactly as it would be given to the students.

When I arrived at the school, I was surprised to discover only about a dozen parents there. As we waited for the presentation, I thumbed through page after page of instructions in the prevention of pregnancy or disease. I found abstinence mentioned only in passing. When the teacher arrived with the school nurse, she asked if there were any questions. I asked why abstinence did not play a noticeable part in the material.

What happened next was shocking.

There was a great deal of laughter, and someone suggested that if I thought abstinence had any merit, I should go back to burying my head in the sand. The teacher and the nurse said nothing as I drowned in a sea of embarrassment. My mind had gone blank, and I could think of nothing to say.

The teacher explained to me that the job of the school was to teach “facts,” and the home was responsible for moral training.

I sat in silence for the next 20 minutes as the course was explained. The other parents seemed to give their unqualified support to the materials.

“Donuts, at the back,” announced the teacher during the break.

“I’d like you to put on the name tags we have prepared - they are right by the donuts - and mingle with the other parents.”

Everyone moved to the back of the room.

As I watched them affixing their name tags and shaking hands, I sat deep in thought. I was ashamed that I had not been able to convince them to include a serious discussion of abstinence in the materials. I uttered a silent prayer for guidance.

My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher’s hand on my shoulder.

“Won’t you join the others, Mr. Layton?” The nurse smiled sweetly at me. “The donuts are good.”

“No, thank you.” I replied.

“Well, then, how about a name tag? I’m sure the others would like to meet you.”

“Somehow I doubt that,” I replied.

“Won’t you please join them?” she coaxed.

“I’ll just wait here,” I said.

When the class was called back to order, the teacher looked around the long table and thanked everyone for putting on name tags. She ignored me.

Then she said, “Now we’re going to give you the same lesson we’ll be giving your children. Everyone please peel off your name tags.” I watched in silence as the tags came off.

“Now, then, on the back of one of the tags, I drew a tiny flower. Who has it, please?”

The gentleman across from me held it up.

“Here it is!” “All right,” she said.

“The flower represents disease. Do you recall with whom you shook hands?”

He pointed to a couple of people. “Very good,” she replied.

“The handshake in this case represents intimacy. So the two people you had contact with now have the disease.”

There was laughter and joking among the parents.

The teacher continued, “And whom did the two of you shake hands with?”

The point was well taken, and she explained how this lesson would show students how quickly disease is spread.

“Since we all shook hands, we all have the disease.”

“Speak now,” I thought, “but be humble.”

I noted wryly the latter admonition, then rose from my chair.

I apologized for any upset I might have caused earlier, congratulated the teacher on an excellent lesson that would impress the youth, and concluded by saying I had only one small point I wished to make.

“Not all of us were infected,” I said. “One of us… abstained.”

Little Miss Vainpot and others

Belle, Clarissa, Dove, Food, General 8 Comments »

We had a wedding on Sunday. Hubby’s older brother. One year older than him. To me, it is just another wedding with lots of people, lots of food and kids running around the house.

The above is my little miss vainpot. It was taken at the restaurant where we had our luncheon. She requested her highchair to be placed in front of the mirror instead of at the table. While waiting for the food to arrive, she did her drawing. Look at the mirror; make funny faces, looking at herself eating her food etc. Later a cousin joined her, then another cousin, then another.

That’s Kiki with a floorball stick trying to hit the ball with it. Never got it though. Later she left the “game” and joined other cousins playing with the sand.

The above are photos taken by Belle. Not bad huh? But she didn’t get her mummy’s head though! Good also lar…then I can post my pix here. Not so petite anymore ya? Hehee.

Since the cousins are still around on Monday and I did not get enough rest on Sunday, I decided to take half day off and sleep in. Woke up at 10am. Later SIL received an sms from a missionary friend that he and his family is on the way to Malacca and asked to recommend an affordable place to put a night. We offered our place (foc) since we got plenty of rooms available (7 rooms, 3 occupied). We got to play host since that SIL is going back to Ipoh right after lunch. So, I took the whole day off and tag along.

The husband is from Holland, Rodney and the wife, Vivien from Philippines. Young couple with a 4 years old son, Samuel and a 2 years old daughter, Mariah. Beautiful kids. They wanted to see the Stadhuys and the historical site in Malacca, so we dropped them down near the Ship and we (hubby, Belle and myself) hang around at Mahkota Parade until they are done.

For dinner, we brought them for Ikan Bakar (grilled fish). I didn’t know that the restaurant is very near the straits (sea). It’s a beautiful scenery. Most of the time, when I went there, the sun is already down but yesterday; we arrived there at 6pm where it is still bright.

After dinner, we brought them for a walk at the Klebang beach. I didn’t go with them though coz Belle was soundly asleep in the car so, I have to accompanied her.

It was nice having a missionary couple with us, where we can catch a glimpse of their life. A life that we will lead someday. They are going back to KL today and then back to Holland next week.

Auf wiedersehen (I wonder whether this is Dutch, but it is definitely Deutsche).
:D

Above all else, guard your heart

Belle, Dove, Marriage 4 Comments »

Hubby pop-up this question to me last Sunday while I was bathing Kiki.

“When is the toughest period in your life?
”

Without much thought, I told him it was the first month after bringing Belle into the world.

Actually, I wanted to say, after I marry you. hehehe. But come to think of it, quite true also, after the second year, I got Belle.

The birth of Belle wasn’t so tough because it only involved physical pain. During the confinement period I was physically and emotionally down. The emotional pain last longer.

I was physically tired due to lack of sleep, physically in pain when my nipples crack and swollen and I was down with fever due to the swollen breast, the stitches was opened and I got to go for another round of painful stitching. Ouch!

I was emotionally down as I was taking care of Belle alone. Even though I stayed with my mom, I slept with my baby because I breastfed. Hubby doesn’t feel comfortable sleeping at my mom’s place. He slept at home.

To the future daddy out there. Please spent the night with your wife, anywhere she maybe during her confinement period. Even though you think you can’t do much but that is the period she needs you the most. How I wish my husband were with me at that time. Things will be different, for sure.

The frustration emerged when the baby doesn’t get enough milk when my milk production is slow and hubby doesn’t allow me to mix with formula milk. The lack of sleep makes me grumpy. I am no longer one but two. Must think of the baby before me. I am not a baby anymore, I am a mommy now. During that first month, I did wish that I did not have the baby.

Hubby’s toughest period in his life is during varsity days. He dislike studying. It is a nightmare whenever he dreamt of going back to school. If my children doesn’t like studying, I know who to point my finger at. hehe. As for me, varsity days was the best period in my life. :D

Just finished reading the book, Emotional Purity. Our emotion guides us physically and mentally. If we are emotionally pure, our thoughts and action will be pure too.

In Matthew 5:28, Jesus said “…I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

The man has not even touch the woman but he lust for her in his heart and he has committed adultery already! Let just say he did not guard his heart (emotion) and take another step by approaching the woman. I am sure they will be in bed given the opportunity. Our hearts / emotions always guide the way we behave and talk.

Not going to be preachy here…Maybe I’ll write a sermon on it just for future use. Have not been writing one for a long time.

Recently the church signed us up for a Southern Division Combined Church Camp. Already applied for 3 days leave, 2 weeks from today. Was kinda excited about it as we do not know the campers. Hubby might know some of the pastor.

I was looking forward for the camp because…
1. I like meeting new people and making new friends. Since I came back to Malacca to work and settle down, I have been seeing the same faces, day in day out.
2. I need a break from my daily routine.
3. I would love to walk hand-in-hand with Belle at the beach and watch her play with the sand.
4. I need revival in my personal walk with God. Felt so dry and far from God.
5. I miss high praises.

Unfortunately, hubby informed that the camp is cancelled due to poor response from other churches. *haiya*

Anyway, it was good also since the weather is hazy and Kiki can’t walk yet. It will be tiring for me to take care of her. She is quite active for a tiny winy baby. Only 6kg plus for an 8 months baby. :D

So the church signed us up for another “camp”, OMF Mission Conference in November, in PD also. By then, Kiki would be walking already. Can let her play with her sister.

What is OMF? Well, I googled it. They send short term and long term missionaries to support Christian movements in East Asia. If God opens the door for us, we might even sign up for a short term mission and long term mission then after, as the Lord leads. Meantime, our options are open. We are hoping and praying that God will reveal His plan for us soon.

I am EXCITED again! Might be blogging from another country soon. Not so sure how soon is my soon. Soon might be 2 to 3 years time or more. hehe
