Baby Ezra at 6.5 months old

On his 6mo birthday, he got a new cousin sister named Melody; my youngest sister’s first born.
Yesterday we went for his monthly check up and he weighs at 7.7kg only and height at 68.5cm; an increased of 200g only since last month. Am I not feeding him enough? I started him on solid since he is 5m3w old but he is a small eater. The most he took was 4 spoons and for the past 2 days, he has been eating more coz I gave one solid a day. Until today his staple food are millets and buckwheat. To make his food tastier, I’ll mix them with apple puree, sweet potato, carrot or pear. I have yet to feed him brown rice; maybe in a few days time. He dislike watery food and blended food; he prefers food that he can chew. That saves me a lot of time blending his food and washing the food processor. He drinks water but not from the bottle; I tried but he does not know how to suck so I spoon fed him. Anyway, I hardly give him water coz after his solid, he wants my boobs.
Mommy’s milk is still the best.
He is still exclusively on breastmilk every 2 hourly; day and night! I am not complaining. I am so used to it already that I don’t crave for a 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep which I used to get before he turns 5 months old. As long I get some shut eyes, I am thankful.
He normally has 2 big naps in the morning and afternoon; 11.30am-1.30am and 3.30pm-5.30pm. If I have to go somewhere during those hours, he will have a few short naps throughout the day.
He is still very clingy to me. On days that I can bear to see him cry his pitiful cries; I will sling him and he will follow me around doing house chores. I can’t wait till the day he can walk!
