In His Time

I am so blessed to have him. In the beginning of his life, I felt like strangling him because he is way too clingy to me and causes me much pain; physically and emotionally.

It started with 100 days of following US time instead of Malaysian time. When everyone is awake, he will be sound asleep and when everyone is having their sweet dream, he will be wide awake and wants me to carry him ALL THE TIME.

After that, he wants to be carried by me and my mom only ALL THE TIME. It is difficult to do housework that way and my mom gave up babysitting him! That is when I decided to quit my job because if my mom can’t handle him, no other babysitter can.

At home, when I need to move around, he will be in the baby carrier; comfortably tug behind me following me everywhere I go. I even carried him when I need to PU or Pass Motion! Yes! He is THAT clingy.

He only let me go a lil while when he started walking. Even now, almost 3yo, he is still very clingy to me. His favorite verse is “If I don’t have Mommy how?”

All this is because he loves me and adores me to bits.

When you see cute babies, you will surely be tempted to pinch their cheeks and throw lots of kisses on their chubby cheek right? And show your “Geram” expression.

That is how Barnabas shows his adoration towards me! He will pinch my cheeks and show his “geram” expression and kiss them. Before sleep, he likes to stare at my face, lightly touch the tip of my nose and snuggle close to me before dozing off.

All the sleepless nights and the pain I had gone through are so worth it!

I will not complaint if my No.4 turns out to be just like him.
