This is how Belle’s loose tooth looks like now. Almost there. So after she enjoyed a stick of yogurt ice-cream, I suggested that she tried pulling it out. To my surprise, she agreed.

Gave her a container of ice water and a handkerchief. She tried a few times until it bleeds. Even though the handkerchief is full of blood she still tried again. She told me that she is not afraid of seeing blood because she wants to be a doctor!

When I told her that her Engku (my brother) is going for an appendix operation, she asked whether small children can go in the OT to observe. I told her that she can’t and she asked whether they will provide DVD for us to watch after the operation, she wanted to watch it!

Well, I guess exposing her to blood and seeing a minor surgery at a young age does help her get herself immune. She saw my bloody “downunder” when her daddy apply Minyak Gamat there to expedite healing after I gave birth to her brother, she saw my breast was cut up when I had breast infection and she was there many times when the nurse did the dressing for me. She shows no fear at all!

I wonder whether other parents would do the same as we did!
