The closes I get to Halloween was bringing home a pumpkin from my grandfather’s house; he used to plant pumpkin to sell; he was a farmer. My brother secretly carved out the eyes, the nose and the mouth to make the Halloween Pumpkins, put a lighted candle in it and place it on the kitchen shelf.

No one knows about it until they heard me screaming when I went to the kitchen in the middle of the night to get a drink. That really scares me to death! Well, he did not get away with it. In the morning he got scolded by our dad. Not only for scaring me but the danger in putting a lighted candle in the kitchen. A cat might play with the pumpkin thinking it is a ball and if the candle drops out, it might burn our kitchen. We live in a wooden house so we cannot simply light a candle and leave it like that. Dangerous!

Halloween is coming and this would be perfect as Halloween gift to those who celebrates Halloween. Not for the kids of course but this Halloween Flowers are for their mommy.

All this while I thought Halloween is just about dressing up in scary costumes and the children will go trick or treating. Hmmm…while the children are away, the parents took this opportunity to have a party too ya.
