Clarissa…why you like that one?
Clarissa, Education August 12th, 2008She wants her way all the time and very emotional too. That is the feedback I got from her teachers.
If she is not in a good mood, she don’t even want to look at the white board. If her teacher insisted, she will cry. Until today, she still don’t know her A to Z but can recognize numbers and colours. Chinese? I doubt.
The teacher compared her to a boy that is younger than her and he already know all but the teacher was very strict with him. He cried but he learns. My girl cry but she refused to learn and she wet her bed if too much pressure being put on her.
Now, I must try my very best to teach her at home. Must give more attention to her. I tried before but I failed miserably, she just refused to obey and wants her way.
Must be more creative. *think, think, think*

My Emily also super sensitivelor and like to bully her jeh jeh also… do all younger ones behave the same? Do we pampered them too much or they simply want more attention?? My Emily knows her limit… she knows her mummy’s tolerance level and start behaving well before mummy roar like a tigeress…

have u tried making learning super fun? play games with each alphabet like asking her to search around the room for anything that looks like a C or a H. bring the alphabet characters to life & tell stories, like A is friends with D and they go to the playground to meet F. blablabla….or perhaps explore http://www.starfall.com?
