Chicken Pox Scar
Barnabas, Health July 28th, 2008
Can you see the 2 deep holes on Barnabas forehead? That is the deepest Chicken Pox scar on his body. Sad that it chose to be on his face. I am still wondering how it can be so deep. He didn’t break the Chicken Pox there nor scratch it; he didn’t even know there are pox there! It just decided to grow big.
Those that saw his scar commented that the scar will never go off. I was hoping that it will but after a few comments from SILs, I lost hope. I just hope that that will be only scar on his face. No acne scar please; like his mommy.

When I had chicken pox when I was in primary school, the mama pox (the one that came 1st and was the biggest) was on my hand… somehow it popped (probably coz it was huge, something like Barnabas’) and it did leave a scar. Over the years as I grew older and the skin stretched, the scar is now a faint hint, a reminder of me having had chicken pox, but it really isn’t a deep crater. Barnabas is still very young, the pox mark will lighten and be less visible…
