I was busy watching CSI and blogging at the same time and he was busy viewing the pics in my camera. After getting bored browsing all the pics, he explores and found the shutter button (the button that you press to take a picture). Got so excited that lights come out from the camera (flash) when he presses the button then he started snapping away until I snatch the camera from him!

My Lil’ Nurse

Feeding JieJie Belle her medication after feeding himself with one dose. :)

Look at Belle’s body…she has so many Chicken Pox that I have to smear the Calamine all over her body. She got lots on her face and lips too. Barnabas has more on his face than Clarissa too. I think it’s the food that they eat. Clarissa only eats rice and drinks milk. She hardly eat any meat unlike the two of them. Belle loves her meat!

I have to go now…Barnabas “Mo dohdok aeroplane!”

What a Monday

Health, Parenting 2 Comments »

Almost everyone hates Monday because that is the beginning of a busy, boring, routined week. Gone are the unplanned, relaxing and fun weekend.

So far, this is my worst Monday. Belle and Barnabas are invaded by the Chicky Pox. Belle cried with every pox that she saw! I think more of manja then pain. Barnabas is whinny and cranky coz he has slight temperature.

“Mo Ah-Meeee” = Mommy carry me.
“Mo Wome” = I want to go out, somewhere, anywhere.
“Mo wo beach, mo dohdok horse.” = Want to go to the beach to sit horse.

Put the above on repeat; many many times!

I don’t mind carrying him around the house if I don’t have backache.
I don’t mind driving him out somewhere, anywhere if I did not sprain my neck. I can’t turn to the left without feeling pain from the neck down to my shoulder!

Maybe I should try drinking the kava kava to help me reduce all this stress.

I just hope my Monday won’t get any worse than this.

Oh ya, we didn’t get any present for daddy. Not even office supplies for his shop. He said “Don’t waste money” mah.

Prescribe My Own Medicine

Health, Parenting No Comments »

After one round of Chicken Pox experience from Clarissa, I know what medicine is more required than the other. So, when I went to bring them to see the GP, I told the doctor that I only need one bottle of paracetamol, 2 bottles if the “itchy” syrup and no Calamine. Still have left over from Clarissa; don’t need that that much. The doctor also prescribe me with the Antibiotic but not to consume now. Got to wait till the water in the pox turns yellowish.

Oh ya, we can actually access clinical information on more than 3,300 drugs from our blog by just adding the free medical blog widget. This is made possible by The Epocrates MedSearch tool. I think I try to find the actual medical term for the “itchy” syrup.

“This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.”

Belle & Barnabas Got Chicken Pox

Barnabas, Belle, Health 3 Comments »

After 2 weeks since Clarissa’s body was invaded by Chicken Pox, finally the other 2 got them. I thought they have very strong immune system because normally after a week they should get it. They sleep together and eat from the same spoon and drink from the same bottle/cup. Well, I guess God wants Belle to finish her exam first. Now she can rest for 2 weeks. :D

I just noticed the pox this morning when I was preparing them for church. So, we skipped church again this week. Belle has more then 10 tiny pox. Barnabas only 2 pox but his body is warmer today. He is cranky too and wants to be carried and I am having a backache now! :(

Clarissa is not completely healed. All the Chicken Pox has dried up but not all has dropped off. I wonder whether the teacher will shoo her home if I bring her to school tomorrow.

A tough week ahead. Looks like I have to take a week leave to mind them.

Moody Arts

Just that a look at this piece of art which I call, Moody Arts.

Clarissa did so well during her first art class but yesterday she wasn’t in a good mood. She refused to listen to instruction. She even turn her face away when the teacher speak to her. Thank God the teacher is very patient and told me that since she is only 3 plus and this is only her 2nd class, that I should give her more time to get the hang of it.

Yup! I was so tempted to pull her out from the class yesterday.

Love Playing with Coins

Family, Finance No Comments »

My children has one blue elephant piggy bank from Hong Leong Bank. However, the piggy bank is filled with their daddy’s coin; not theirs. :) And they love playing with them, especially when the play with their toy cash register. Their daddy have another container on the study table is filled with rare coin. When we weren’t looking, Barnabas will climb up there and throw out all the coins in it! Children wouldn’t know the value of rare coin. To them, everything is a toy. Must get daddy to lock that container, if not the coin will really become rare and undetectable. :)

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
