Clarissa Got Chicken Pox
Clarissa, Health June 2nd, 2008It started to pop out on Saturday night. No one knows it was chicken pox until the next day, on Sunday, a few more came. My mom said it can’t be chicken pox coz she did not have fever, runny nose or sore throat but that evening she had a slight fever. So confirm lar, it is chicken pox.
Today, it grew bigger with clear water in them. Brought her to the clinic to get a bottle of Calamine and syrup for to stop her from feeling itchy. The doctor told me that when children is down with chicken pox, they do not suffer as much as the adult. They can still be active with no symptoms like the adult. I remembered that I suffered when I had chicken pox in my late teenage years.
So, did I isolate her from the other two? NOPE…I want them to get it too. Easier lar…all get it at the same time and also, they are still young, so it is kinda easy to abstain them from certain food but the tough part is to stop them from scratching! You don’t want to know what I did to stop Clarissa from scratching!

yeah…since they are now vaccinated, it isn’t so bad when they get chicken pox (unlike our time, all lubang here and there :()

If your kids had been vaccinated, then the outbreak will be very little, less itch = less fuss. If your other 2 had not been vaccinated, it will be very poor thing to be infected leh…my nephew was covered from head to toes with the chicken pox unlike my second daughter who had been vaccinated, less suffering.

Yeah, its easier for your children to have chicken pox at the same time and some more now is school holidays.I think Clarissa will be ok in a week time, let her drink more water and don’t take soya sauce/black sauce.
