Trip To The Melaka Zoo
Belle, Clarissa, Education April 10th, 2008Yes! We went to the Zoo.
And this is the first time they hurry me up to get ready.
“Mommy, faster!”
All this while, it was “Clarissa, can you please hurry up? Faster get into the car!!!” “Belle, faster wake up!”
I tagged along because I worried that Clarissa might jump into the animal sanctuary (cage). She is fearless. And also so that they would have some photos from this trip. Oh! I must make sure I delete my old pix inside my SD card.
We went there by the school bus. A few other mommies came along too.

Mommy, do I look like Orang Utan enough?
Thank God that we did not have to walk much. Just one small round which after 3/4 way Clarissa exclaimed, “Mommy, I think we need a rest now.” Pemalas betul!!!

It is so hot Mommy, where is our tramp?
We took a tramp to tour the whole Zoo and at the end of the tour we watched animal show. Just some parrots, a Vulture, an Eagle and Orang Utan showing off their skills. Clarissa didn’t even bother to watch. I think Animal Planets is more interesting.
Anyway, Belle enjoyed it.
We arrived home around 12.15 noon and I got splitting headache due to the hot weather.
Wanna come visit Melaka Zoo, come stay in my Holiday Apartment.

Dear Michelle,
I stumbled upon yr blogs after i stumbled upon your husband’s. And i came across David’s blog when i accessed the Melaka Chief Minister’s blog. Yes, he has also just jumped on the blogging bandwagon.
I just want to say that i enjoy reading your blogs and posts very much. It reminds me that people have more similiarities than differences. I have 2 children, one who is 8 and another who is 5. I’m working and have no home help so its quite demanding living the daily grind but i suppose there is no choice. I think I’m quite lucky and very blessed compared to other people. At least all of us are healthy.
I knew David many years ago, quite briefly when he was practicing law. I practiced for 10 years and worked 12 years in a law firm. In 2007, i gave it all up and took a year long “sabbatical”. Now, i’m back to work unexpectedly after a job offer in a totally new field. Please send my regards to David and ask if he remembers me. He might if he jogs his memory enough. I hope he is doing well in his internet cafe business.
Regards,
LINDA

[...] At first we thought that is a habit until recently hubby told me to take a look at her eyes when she watches TV closer. She does not stare when she go close. And during the recent Zoo trip, she did not show any interest in watching the animal show even though she likes animals a lot. I guess the stage is too far for her to see. [...]
