Chatting away
Menceceh October 11th, 2007Do you notice that when you grow older you feel out of place when you sign-in to certain online chat? I realized that I no longer use certain chat programs like ICQ or MiRC or Friendsters. Most of the chatters in these chat programs are youngsters or teenagers. I find it difficult to understand their thoughts and chat lingo. It is so difficult to connect with them. Haizzz….generation gap.
I told my husband about it. He agreed with me. He said,”We are already adults. We don’t chat like teenagers. We are not concerned much about finding lots of friends anymore. We are direct in the things that we want…man seeking woman, man looking for life partner, seeking fun time together, seeking group fun and etc.” I kind of agree with him.
Adults are more direct and does not go around beating the bush. If we want sex, we search for those who are like-minded. (Hehehehe..don’t get me wrong here,…I never search for other adults to have sex… I got my husband, enough already). Now there is also Chat Line service where you can find people to chat with on your phone. It is an easy way to meet people in your local area or in cities across the U.S. When you feel bored and want to talk to somebody, use Chat Line. You might find the one you are looking for. Then you can tell people, “When I hear his voice, I fall in love with him. This is indeed Love At First Hearing.”
