He knows how to smile for the camera! :D

When I said, “Barnabas, smile for Mommy.” Then he will go grinning like that showing his teeth! Cute eh? :D

Took that during our dinner at Simply Fish yesterday.

Btw, Happy Merdeka Day Malaysians!

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

p/s but not for me…still struggling to finish my paid post. :P

Avoid Bankruptcy with IVA

Finance, Menceceh No Comments »

As parent as much as possible, please do not go into debt; especially do not load money from the loan shark. Your family and children will be at risk. If your in debt now and in the verge of bankruptcy, another method of Debt Management called the IVA might be able to help you. With IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement), up to 70% of all your debts could be written off and you would pay no interest and you could be debt free in 5 years or less. Why Does Mommy Need To Work

Belle, Parenting, Work 1 Comment »

Belle always asks me, “Mommy, why do you need to go to work?” Even though I explain many times to her that if I don’t work, she would not be able to wear the clothes she is wearing now, play the toys she is throwing away now, have plenty of books to color, or even go to school. She prefers me to stay at home. I think that would only be possible if her daddy can earn enough to afford us a holiday in Hawaii and staying in Maui Condo. hehe.

I am blessed to have my mom around all the time when I was growing up. She is a housewife from the first day she married my dad. My dad’s preference even though we are not rich but we have sufficient food, clothing and shelter. However I can’t do that for my children because the cost of living now is way too high compared to those days.

Got Hole Must Poke

Family, Parenting 1 Comment »

My title does sound vulgar eh but it is the truth. Some children are so curious about the holes they found on their body that they will find things to insert in it.

Like recently Jess daughter’s Lyon, inserted black beans in her nose.

Before that, my colleague 6 years old son had a bead in his ear. Someone put it inside there for him but he refused to tell his parent who is the naughty fellow. Because of that, they spent RM80 at MMC just to get the doctor to dig it out.

My colleague’s friend’s son pokes a chalk in his nose and thank God he was having runny nose. His mother was wondering how come his mucus is blue in colour and when she looks into his nose, she found a chalk there. They immediately bring him to the hospital to take it out. I think, the boy is using the chalk to stop the mucus from coming out!

When I told my mom about it, she said that Shavina is the same too. Love inserting whatever that can fit into her nose and ear! Scary!

Thank God none of my children are that curious.

Purple

Clarissa No Comments »

Belle likes Pink but Clarissa likes Purple. I wonder whether she knows which one is Purple colour. She kept telling me to buy Purple stuff.

“Mommy, you buy for me Purple dress, ok?”
“Mommy, you buy for me Purple shoe, ok?”
“Mommy, you buy for me Purple ball, ok?”

My reply, “Ok”. Just OK but have not buy any Purple stuff for her.

I think she just like to pronounce the world PURPLE. :)

Sports Day

Belle, Clarissa, Education No Comments »

Today I woke them up as usual at 7am but this time they were able to get up fast because of Sports Day cum Merdeka Celebration Day at another kindergarten. They were very excited about visiting another kindy and wondering what is a Sports Day.

The kindy is 15 mins from my house, so I have to leave home by 7.30am and left my mom’s at 8am after they had their Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun breakfast. You can’t eat that in the car unless there is someone who volunteered to wash my car after that. :P

My dad fetched them after school today coz they ended early at 11.30am. When I went back for lunch, Belle was out of words. She has nothing to tell me about the Sports Day. Clarissa told me that she held a flag. Please lar, don’t be like your daddy, please tell Mommy what you did in school.

After work, when I fetch them home, Belle told me that she played the hullahoop, basket ball and blowing a ball that is floating in the water. “That is not easy to do, Mommy.” she said. “What about Clarissa, what did she play?” I asked. “Clarissa slept because she is tired.” she replied. Hmmm…I think I’ll ask their teacher about it on Monday. She slept again!

Sharing

Barnabas, Clarissa, Parenting No Comments »

Last night in the car on the way home from Mahkota Parade, Barnabas was drinking his water. Clarissa asked for it. He stopped drinking and handed the bottle to her. After Clarissa is done with it, she gave it back to him, took a sip, and offered his sister the bottle.

It is nice to see them sharing. But this won’t last long so I really registered that moment in my brain. Why I said that? Well, both my girls are the same before they reach 2 years old. Once they reach that mark, everything is me, myself and I. Mine! Mine! Mine! Yes, SELFish. We have to nag and sometimes force them to share their things especially toys.

I am wondering at what age they will learn to share again. Let’s wait and see.

Book Your Ticket Online

Entertainment, Holiday No Comments »

I never like queuing up for tickets especially when my children are tagging along with me. Whenever possible I will try too book them online. I can’t imagine handling all three at the same time while securing my place in the line. Imagine, if one starts wanting to go toilet one at the time, I would end up being the last person in the line each time someone goes to the washroom.

If I ever step foot in Disneyland with my children, I will definitely get my ticket from OrlandoFunTickets.com that has the lowest discount prices for all Orlando dinner shows including Arabian Nights discount tickets, Medieval Times discount tickets, Pirates Dinner Adventure discount tickets, plus all of the other major theme parks including SeaWorld Tickets, Kennedy Space Center tickets, Universal Studios tickets, and more.

I bought this vcd on August 4th and before we even managed to watch it, it split into 2 pieces. A week after that I bought another one. The day after it when I wanted to let my girls watch it, it is empty inside. No CD! I immediately call the shop and they told me to return it and they will replace it. It will happen some times according to them. The next day, hubby went but they are out of stock, told him that they will call once the stock arrives.

Finally yesterday, we got the VCD. Opened it and tested it this time. All is well and I bought one Phonics VCD for my girls too. Got discount for that. I think they enjoyed watching Clarissa dance when they played the Chinese VCD that I bought! :D

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
