I am too serious. I am too tense. I am too strict. I am too stress up. And my children noticed it to the extend that they purposely make me laugh.

Belle will go, “Mommy, you so funny.” Pointing at my face and start laughing heartily. Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Laughter is very infectious, seconds later Clarissa and Barnabas started laughing too. I will response, “Are you people crazy?” “Oh! Mommy, you are so funny.” Belle replied and continue laughing.

That made me laugh too!

Everyday without fail I will ask Belle 2 question after fetching her from kindy.

“What did teacher teach you today?”
“What did you eat today?”

Her answer will be the same everyday

“ABC”
“ABC Soup!”

Then she laughed.

I know she is just pulling my leg.

So, I gave up asking her coz I know the answer will be the same.

Then she will say

“Mommy, you forget something. You forget to ask me something today.”

She is waiting me to ask the magic question lar…when I asked, she will answer the same line!

When I arrived at my mom’s, he is still sleeping. When he wakes up, I quickly when to get him out from the sarong. He looked at me, up and down and pretended not to be excited to see me. When I carried him, he took a few quick glances of my face and turn away, pretending that he does not miss me.

When it’s time to bring him home, he hold on tight to my mom’s and turn away from me. I have to pull him apart from my mom. He did not cry but he smiled back at my mom. Pretending again!

I know that he misses me. When it’s time for me to go to office, he cried like I am going to leave him again! And when he heard that I am back home, he quickly crawled to me and did not wanna let me go.

That is just Penang. I wonder what will happen if I bring her to Disney World. I can imagine all the screaming and the wailing and me dragging her up the plane to leave Orlando, Florida.

I kinda regretted taking a bus home from Penang. Poor Belle has to suffer the cold temperature. It was freezing in the bus! I was not able to sleep well coz I gave my jacket to keep Belle warm. I clothed her with a t-shirt, a pyjamas, her pink jacket, a towel and my jacket. I rubbed a lot of vaporub on her feet before putting the socks on.

As for me, even with 5 layers t-shirt plus my evening gown to cover my hands, I still felt cold. And the bus driver can’t control the temperature. The best he can do is, from time to time is turn off the air-cond.

Thank God the trip was only 5 hours and 45 minutes, if the bus driver drive slowly, and take 8 hours to arrive Malacca (that’s the usual time), I would stop the bus and get my hubby to fetch us from whenever we are!
