I don’t like School!
Belle, Education, Family April 28th, 2007I am starting to get worried about my Belle. Lately, she shows no interest in going to school. Partly because she does not understand Chinese. Partly because she has her daddy’s genes. Is she really gonna be like her daddy who hated school? I think I mentioned before, hubby’s nightmare is when he dream about schooling. Sometimes I really cannot comprehend it. He hated school but he excels in his studies. I love schooling but I am just an average student.
Should I be happy knowing that if really Belle follows after her daddy that she will be an “A†student? But I am not. I want her to love schooling like her mommy and be an “A†student like her daddy. Sound very kiasu ya!

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I knew very few people who liked school, and those who did tend to be the ones who get beaten up the most (cough).
I think the question of whether Belle will like school or not is out of your hands. If the school is good, if she actually feels like she’s learning (as opposed to being lectured to), then chances are she’ll dig it.
Unfortunately, most Malaysian schools are rather crap at making learning enjoyable.

I think the schools in Asia are quite competitive..?? singapore is anyways. Maybe that’s the reason why they donch enjoy school at all. You should see .. Maddy from Maddy’s Weblog (http://www.cheninfo.com/maddychen/blog/index.php) .. she loves school.. and she is so smart.. i tell ya..
I enjoyed it so much.. when her mummy - Tina tells us about all her adventures in school. I love her school too.
