Baby Durian

After the durian flowers dropped, we get this one…cute baby durians. When you look up, there are so many of them and you wish that all will “jadi” but then they have to go thru nature’s selection. They weak ones have to make way for the strong.
For this tree normally at the end of the day, we will only get around 25-35 fruits only (if I’m not mistaken). That is after the squirrels got their hands on the nice and juicy ones.
So, what do we normally do with the baby durians? Well, we play “masak-masak”. If we see some one we don’t like, we use them as our weapon! Throw at them!!! Mwahahahaha.

Massage Me 5x
Belle, Family, Health, Parenting 1 Comment »We have a bargaining session two nights ago. I have backache, since hubby is not around, I requested Belle to massage me. Below is our conversation:
Me: Belle massage mommy’s back.
Belle: You massage me 5x first.
Me: Mommy’s back pain pain lar…1x enough.
Belle: NO! 5.
The above went on for a while.
Me: Ok, nobody gets any massage. Sleep!
Notti Mommy eh…and I got scolded from hubby the next day! So last night I massaged her 5x and I don’t get any from her. 
Must claim from daddy afterwards.

When Can He Have His Own Look
Barnabas, Family, Parenting 1 Comment »When he was a newly born, they said he look like Yohannes, eldest BIL eldest son. After he’s 3 months old, they said he look like Nathaniel, Yohannes’ youngest brother. Now they say he look like Shawn, Ivy’s son. I wonder when will he have his own look?
10 more days he will be 11 months old. He’s getting more playful and mischievous. I like and enjoying it.

A Twist In Time

Have you watched it? Have you watched it? I have, just 2 days ago. This movie is so much fun than the first Cinderella. The prince talks more. 
And at the end of the show we see that there’s kindest in Anastasia (why do they have to make her look so ugly?)
In this movie, the slipper did fit but not on Cinderella foot but Anastasia. How can it happen? Well, someone stole the Fairy Godmother’s magic wand of course. And that someone is Anastasia. Her mommy uses the magic wand, turn back time and use magic to make the prince thinks that he dance with Anastasia instead of Cinderella.
Must watch, it is very funny too. Belle giggles so many times watching it.
I like the song “At the ball, at the ball…†sung by the Jac & Gus Gus. It is so catchy.

Backache
Barnabas, Belle, Health No Comments »Oh man! It’s terrible. I am walking like a 9 months pregnant lady. And NO, I am not pregnant again. 
I only experience this kinda backache towards the later stage of pregnancy. When I need to carry my boy which is quite often, I can hardly walk! It’s like I am pregnant with twins. I didn’t know what went wrong. I was ok in the morning. Only felt it after my nap.
During nap, my boy sucks my nen-nen for the whole 2 hours. So, I didn’t move from my sleeping position, side ways. I wonder whether that causes the backache or maybe during those 2 hours, all my calcium has been sucked out by my boy. Could it be??? 
Promise Belle that we will go shopping today but since I got this terrible backache, I told her I can’t. This is what she said, “Mommy, you walk slowly.” I told her that walking slow also cause pain. So I suggested that I sit in the trolley instead of her. This is what she said, “Mommy, you are so big and heavy, Annabelle push cannot move!” hahahahaha.

I want to go back there for more. So many choices of food. From local to international cuisine. Restaurants, food court and cafes. Fast food and not so fast food.
So, what did we eat? Malaysian must eat rice right. So we checked out the food court first. It was packed and noisy. Colleague wanted some place less noisy. We head down one floor and walk into a Lebanese Restaurant, Bhukara. The joke was, we ate local Chinese dishes instead of Lebanese food! Their special is lamb dishes and we are not that adventurous trying need food and we don’t really favor lamb. So, we had Beef Ginger, Black Pepper Chicken, Sweet Sour fish, Fried Kailan, Fried Mix Vege and rice. I ordered the cheapest drink available, 100Plus at RM5.50 a can. The most expensive 100Plus I ever drank!
Oh ya! The waitress got a shock with the amount of food my colleague ordered. She told us that it is too much for just the two of us. My colleague replied her, “Look at my size†and smiled. When the dishes came, to my colleague’s surprise, the portion is bigger than he expected it to be. So, we slowly chew our food with minimal rice. I ate my lunch and dinner in that one meal!
Look at the bill amount. For a simple local Malaccan, that was the most expensive meal I ever eaten except wedding lunch/dinner lar. Thank God I didn’t have to pay for it. If not, sure pikir tak habis habis. Even though the food is expensive, most of the tables in the restaurant are filled. KL people very rich ya?! The food was delicious coz they are generous with their spices and ingredients. If you ask me whether I will go back there. I will if someone treat me.

I don’t like School!
Belle, Education, Family 2 Comments »I am starting to get worried about my Belle. Lately, she shows no interest in going to school. Partly because she does not understand Chinese. Partly because she has her daddy’s genes. Is she really gonna be like her daddy who hated school? I think I mentioned before, hubby’s nightmare is when he dream about schooling. Sometimes I really cannot comprehend it. He hated school but he excels in his studies. I love schooling but I am just an average student.
Should I be happy knowing that if really Belle follows after her daddy that she will be an “A†student? But I am not. I want her to love schooling like her mommy and be an “A†student like her daddy. Sound very kiasu ya!
