In His Time

Those who engage a babysitter to mind their children; will you deduct their monthly allowance if YOU don’t send your children to them for half a month, like during the school holiday or you bringing them for a holiday? This case applies only to mothers who use babysitting service on monthly basis.

To me, mothers should pay them the full amount. Just imagine, babysitting might be their only source of income. If you don’t pay them for half a month, they don’t need to eat for half a month is it? Sometimes you pick them up late for an hour or two. Do you pay them overtime? No right? Sometimes you got some emergency; you need them during the weekend. Do you give them extra cash for it? No right? When you get your bonus at the end of the year, do you give them some bonus too? Some will but many don’t.

So don’t be so calculative with them. We trust them with our children’s well being. Treat them nice and I am sure they will treat your children like their own. Even love them like their own.

Just my two cents worth.

My son still wakes up twice every night. He sleeps around 10pm. He will normally wake up for milk around 2.30 to 3am. Sometimes my breast milk is sufficient for him, most of the time I have to wake up to prepare milk for him. I really dread waking up at that hour. I am most sleepy then.

3 hours after that he will wake up for milk again. Breast milk won’t do this time. Must get his formula milk. By 6.30am, it is time for me to get up and get going with the house chores. Nowadays, nothing much can be done coz after one hour, no mommy’s smell he will wake up. So I usually have to speedily do my work. Once he woke up, I put him in front of the bathroom doors with some toys and he will watch me bathe and play pee-a-boo with me.

Now, no more Cinderella, no more Barbie movies and no more Lion King. Now is the time for Night at the Museum. My girls’ favorite. Have been watching it every night since I bought it! Got it after a short drama at the vcd shop. Got it in exchange of Mukhsin.

One of our close friend mother passed away 2 days ago. We (plus the children) when to visit her yesterday. Not surprisingly, my boy is picky now. He cried his heart out when hubby pass to him to one of our ex-church member.

I expected it. We left the church when he was barely 3 months olds. At that time, anyone goes. The current church we are attending, all the time he sticks to me as there are many mothers with their own baby to mind.

He is still ok with strangers before this. As he grow and understand more, no more Tom, Dick and Harry can carry him. So, my hands won’t be free anymore.

Everyone wants to get rich. Money doesn’t come easy. You must be wise to use them to gain more of it. Some just work hard day to day to earn their dollar and cents. Some work hard day to day to earn their dollar and cents and make there dollar and cents work for them. This is the kind of people that will get rich.

If I can refrain myself from buying them. My girls just don’t know how to take good care of their toys. Again and again I reminded them to keep their to do so and keep them after playing. But they just like to mess them up.

Any toys that I bought for them, on the first day itself, Clarissa will sure break something. On the 2nd day, it will be dismantled by her. On the 3rd day, they are all over the place. On the 4th day, some parts are missing. On the 5th day, they couldn’t be bothered about it. On the 6th day, everything goes into the toy storage box. On the 6th day, “Mommy, I think I would like a new toys.” Or “Mommy, can you please buy me a new toy?”

Please don’t shoot me.
