The company that I am working at is certified with ISO 9001:2000. Every year I will fax to my customers the Customer Satisfaction Survey Report for feedback on our product quality and our services. From there, I will analyze and feedback to the top management about the findings. This practice is only once a year which I feel that it is not that effective.

Do not hoard your wealth

Family, Makemeknown No Comments »

I come from a middle income family. We are not poor but we have the basic necessity. When I went to secondary school, and then to university, most of my friends are from the rich family. Sometimes I would wish that I have a dad that is a millionaire. I can have what ever I want in life and I can give to charity like George Lindemann Jr. who is a philanthropies, an avid art collector and benefactor to museums. Not many rich people will give to charity thou. Most of them like to hoard their wealth to themselves. Sad.

No Bantal Busuk

Clarissa, Family, Parenting 4 Comments »

NEVER, I mean NEVER EVER forget your child’s bantal busuk unless you enjoy sleepless night and the sound of their crying and whining. That is exactly what happened to me last night minus the enjoying part.

We went to hubby shop coz one of the Pizza Hut’s personnel wanted to rent our LCD projector. So I got to bring it to the shop. Normally, once we entered the car Clarissa will ask, “Where’s my pillow?” But last night, she was too engrossed munching her chips to remember her pillow. Only when she wanted to sleep, she asked for her pillow. At that time, Barnabas is sound asleep. I can’t leave him there alone and drive to the shop. He will sure wake up and look for me.

She started crying and repeated her questions, “Mommy, where’s my pillow?” again and again and again and again until she finally falls asleep around 2am.

Driving a Lamborghini

I know that I may not be able to own it now or in the near future. I have yet to dream about owning one, as I’m a realistic person. But those cars are superb and beautiful. Just looking at the pictures of them brings out the “wow!” from my lips. These are indeed cars for the rich and famous. Check out these exotic cars for sale. I’m sure some of you can afford to get one of these cars.

My choice of exotic car is the Lamborghini. Sleek and sexy design. Oh.. I’m talking about the 2005 Lamborghini model Gallardo exterior Grigio Altair with black and red interior. It is a 6 speed manual transmission with 5.0 liter fuel injected, DOHC 500 HP V-10. That is beauty combined with raw power.

Well, if there are any other cars that catch your eyes and you can afford it, you know where to find it. And if you have one, it would be nice if… No, I’m asking you to give it to me…. Just let me test-drive it…. Once also never mind, enough for me. :P

The Beauty from the Beast

God has created each one of us uniquely. Our physical features are designed when we were still in our mother’s womb. Some of us are better endowed physically while others are born handicapped. Some of our physical features may have dramatically changed because of unforeseen accidents. To those who want to renew their physical features for whatever reasons will be happy to know that modern science are able to help them do just that.

I know there are many who are not satisfied with how their nose appearance. And if you are one of them, check out rhinoplasty Washington DC. They have the expertise and experience to do a surgery on your nose. Now with modern technology, the “beast” nose can turn to be the “beauty” nose. Then you will be called “The Beauty from the Beast”…. Hehehe…. Pun intended.

Belle

After searching high and low, from one dvd shop to another, I finally found Beauty and The Beast yesterday. This is my favorite. I remembered telling myself, at that time I was only a teenager, that when I get married (so confident that some one would want to me!) and have a baby girl, I would name her, Belle. Well, I finally got my Belle. :D

I allowed Belle to watch the movie for a while last night. Telling her that the girl in the movie named Belle too. And that I named her after the character. She said, “No! I am Annabelle not Belle.”

Droopy Eyes

Health, Makemeknown No Comments »

Most of us Chinese have droopy eyes or in Malay, Sepet. I am one of them. It makes my eyes very small. When I was younger I used to complaint to my mom why I am born with small eyes and no double eyelids like her. I got more of my dad’s gene in me, you see. She would tell me that I could go to Singapore to have an eyelid surgery, also known as Blepharoplasty when I started working and earn my own money.

As time passes by, I grew and grew and grew and one day I just woke up with a double eyelid. I was so excited but it is only on my left eyes. Maybe I need to grow some more. Ya! Grow older and get wrinkles instead of double eyelids. :P

I read from San Jose plastic surgery website that Blepharoplasty may also improve vision in patients where sight is restricted by excess upper eyelid skin. So besides having pretty eyes, you get good vision too. Hmmm…tempting.

Nose Job

Boys will always be boys, very active and rough. One day my brother play catching with his younger sister (one year younger than him), don’t know how it happened, they ran towards each other and my sister’s hard as steel head knock his nose. He just cried for a while then continued playing.

As time pass by, we noticed that his nose easily bleeds especially when he plays under the sun too long. My parent thought that’s normal and just let it is. Once he started working, he did mentioned that sometimes he has problem breathing then only we discovered that his nose bridge is crooked. As we are not well off, we just let it be since it is not life threatening.

Of late, he told me that he is thinking of going for a nose surgery or in medical term it is call rhinoplasty to fix the bridge. I read about rhinoplasty in Miami. Do they have such website about rhinoplasty in Malaysia or Singapore? At least we can get more information about the surgery online rather than waste our leave going to one clinic after another.

Durians are budding

Food No Comments »

At home, we are left with only one durian tree that bears fruit. They rest, either they are too old or they are still young.

This is the time of the yea where you wish it won’t rain & no strong winds. If it rains heavily with string winds, most of the durian bug will drop. Meaning by July, you can actually count the number of durians left on the tree.

I think this is the nature’s way of selection. The weak will fall, the strong will survive. If there are too many, then the fruit won’t be good and big.

When I look up the tree…”Wah!, So many flowers. I wish all will “jadi”. The next day, I see most of them have dropped to the ground.

BTW, I don’t like the durian’s smell especially after you have open them. More so the smell that comes from someone that just ate them. I like the taste and texture but not the smell. It can cause me to gag & vomit.

Elba

Not the brand name of a watch but it is also a name of a beautiful Island in Italy. The Island of Elba is the third largest Italian island after Sicily and Sardinia and is the largest in the Tuscan Archipelago.

When it comes to going vacation, I like to have both world in one place. The sea and the mountains. The Island of Elba has both and more. If you love diving and the underwater world, this is might a paradise for you. The island has fascinating underwater world of natural caves and numerous fish species. If you don’t swim or dive, get those feet going or get a horse or a mountain bike: any of these means are perfect to explore the stony hills and the forest trails from which you can admire small villages and luxuriant green environment.

As for me, I am in paradise. I’ll get myself all sweaty with the mountain hiking then a deep in clear blue sea. Relaxing and let the waves wash away my sweats and tiredness. How’s that? :D
