Post Spring Cleaning 2

On Saturday morning, continued the washing and hanging. Washed the kitchen floor. Cannot stand the stinking smell of dog poops and urine. Found a dead rat too!

No one was around to help me to carry my boy, so I just let him cry and cry and cry until I finished.

By 10.30am, my girls are hungry, Belle doesn’t want bread, I got no time to cook. Barney was on TV, so I just locked my girls in and I quickly drive with my boy to a nearby shop to buy kuay teow soup for Belle, hubby and myself.

11am, gave a call to hubby to get him to come home soonest possible as I still got a lot of cleaning to do. Need someone to take care of my boy. No answer. Maybe, he is still sleeping at the shop or maybe he is on the way home already. Yup, he was on the way home.

Once he is home, served my girls their brunch, quickly eat my brunch, get them bathe, sweep the floor and then off to work.

On the way back from office, I was hoping that my laundry is collected. It was! Thank you dear. :D

MIL is back from the hospital.

Brought my girls to the clinic but the clinic was closed. Packed dinner from nearby restaurant. After dinner and bath, it was folding and folding and folding. Slept at 11.30pm.

Protect our children on the internet

I’ve been tagged by EastCoastLife. Don’t worry, I won’t shoot you. Own no gun anyway. :P

The project Blogger Power is a campaign to safegard the internet for children against pornography.

A Request To All Webmasters Of Adult Sites:

“Please require a password-protected login before allowing even free access to explicit adult content. We understand that selling porn is your business and we respect your right to make a legal living. But understand our legitimate concerns and work with us. You already have the “warning adult content” on your websites. Yet kids, who are not legal customers of your product, ignore the warning. So to prevent them from having direct access to explicit images, texts and sounds, the simplest way is to have a password-protected login. No more “free tours” before a visitor supplies basic information.”

I have to tag 20 bloggers to participate in this champaign :

The house is empty again. Not totally, left the youngest BIL. He is still around taking care of MIL in the hospital. The only one who is still single and available (i think).

I did a lot of cleaning today. Wanted to start last night but we went to Tesco Playround again with my brother and family. Another round of fun for the girls and this time, I brought my boy too. By the time we arrived home, it was sleeping time for my children. However I managed to accumulate all the bedsheets, pillow chasing, towels and blankets to wash. It took 6 rounds of washing using the washing machine of course. I did 2 rounds last night.

I started writing for Tigapi on Dec 21, 2006. My first post was about credit card. To Swipe or Not to Swipe.

Today, on Feb 24, 2007, 2 months later, I reached my 100th post with a credit card opportunity too! Too Many Credit Cards.

I sure write a lot about credit card. Well, If I’m not mistaken I have 4 to 5 credit cards but I don’t use all of them. Most of them, I got it for free. They want to give, I take lar. When they ask for annual fee, I return it back to them lor… hehehe

Phlegm Remedy

Belle, Clarissa, Food, Health No Comments »

My 2 girls started coughing again but I am contemplating to bring them to see the physician. They just finished one course of antibiotics, cough and flu syrup. They got better after that but it came back during the CNY holidays. Too much time spent outdoor, under the hot sun, less water, carbonated drink, mandarin oranges and heaty food.

My mom boiled lor han kuo + white fungus + dried longan + bunga kembang semangkuk + gula melaka. She said that drinking it will help to dilute the phlegm and stop the coughing. I love the drink but not my girls. Have to force them but they will drink a lil bit only. They prefer the cough syrup! No choice but to bring them to the clinic later this evening.

Amputate

General 2 Comments »

MIL is admitted to the hospital again. Nothing serious. Just to get her index finger amputated.

Yesterday, it was supposed to be just a follow-up check up for her gangrene finger but her children who are not familiar with the hospital, brought her to the wrong department. Instead of the outpatient, they went to the emergency unit. The doctor on duty does not know what to do with it, called the specialist. The specialist will only be on duty in the evening, so she got her admitted thinking that she’s in pain. No pain, go to the emergency unit for what right? Actually, she’s not in pain. Once admitted, cannot “cabut lari”.

We went to visit her after Tesco. This morning BIL told me that her finger will be amputated today. Good also lar, at least it will heal faster than just letting it drop by itself. Some more got pus there coz she wet her fingers even though we warned her against it many many times.

Gassy drink in my breastmilk?

Barnabas, Food No Comments »

On the first day of CNY, I drank a lot of 100Plus due to the hot weather. At night, when my boy sleeps, he will suckle my nen-nen to sleep. In the morning when he woke up. I could hear the sound of a very thick phlegm in his throat. It must be due to the ‘cold’ drink that I took. I quickly let him drink lotsa warm water to dilute the phlegm. It worked. By afternoon, no more phlegm.

Then I refrained myself from drinking anymore gassy drink but cannot help it lar…weather is so hot, cold drink is very tempting. I drank some, not as much as before. The next morning, my boy started coughing due to the phlegm. Hai…NO carbonated drink for me anymore! :(

Play Card

Belle still in her pyjamas, right after finishing her breakfast and wathing TV at the same time. Playing cards with Kor Kor Greg.

I learn a new card game this year too. Pairs. Taught by my husband. It is an interesting game, we make our own rules and it was fun and “satisfying”

Sayang = Friend

Belle No Comments »

My Belle, instead of using the word “Friend” she uses the word “Sayang” like…

“Mommy, Yu Chen and Florence don’t want to “Sayang” me.”
“Mommy, tell Yu Chen and Jie Jie Florence to “Sayang” me.”

Girls will be girl, they always like to be in pair. Sometimes it will be Belle and Yu Chen, sometimes Yu Chen and Florence. They will hold hands and play with each other. One will sure be neglected. Sometimes, I have to tell them to play together, hold each other hands.

Florence’s mommy told me that when she was in primary school. One of her friend gave her 5 cents and told her that they do not want to friend her. I heard the term, “Take 5 cents, Go far far.” Didn’t know that got people actually practice it. Pity her.

When I was in primary school, I experienced the same, no 5 cents. They just tell me that they do not want to friend me. I’m ok with it coz I prefer to mix with the boys than the girls. Boys got no favorites, they play with everyone.

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
