When I did my online search on homecook food for babies, I came across butternut squash . I was wondering what it is, so I googled it. Oh…it is another type of pumpkin. I don’t think we have it here.

Lately Barnabas pureed food has been sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, and rice. Sometime it is just rice and spinach. Quite bland. He can’t take potato, it will make his poop hard.

I did my shopping at Tesco yesterday and I saw Australian Butternut Squash. So expensive, RM14++ per kg. The normal pumpkin is only RM1++ per kg. Well, my son don’t eat so much at one time, so I chose the smallest one, that cost me RM10++.

Cook it for him today. Butternut Squash, Corn & Rice. It is sweeter than the normal pumpkin and the colour is more orangey. The skin is also thinner, so I don’t throw away so much of it. :D

Worth it.
