My birthday!

This is what I wanna do…

Wake up in the morning as usual, eh NO…maybe I’ll sleep a lil bit longer since I’ll be on leave. Do the chores as scheduled. Send my boy to my mom’s and the rest of us go for dim sum breakfast. Then check-out another kindy for Belle.

Oh ya, about Belle’s kindy. Actually I registered her to the normal school kindy, only RM60 a month but NO Peter & Jane, NO Smart-Reader method of reading, NO Dancing, NO Parties & NO Concert. And… Belle is expecting ALL of the above. Do not want her to be disappointed when she started attending that kindy. So, am check-out this kindy which is quite near my office that has all the above and double the price but it will be worth my money lar… Earlier, I thought I will have time to teach Belle the Peter & Jane series and Smart-Reading at home but where got extra time with all the chores to be done and my attention seeking boy!

Ok, ok, back to my birthday plan. After checking out the kindy, hubby will go to work and I’ll will take care of my children the whole afternoon till hubby come back from work by 7pm. Then send my children to my mom’s. Me & my hubby will go to satisfy my craving…Beef Steak! Yeaaaaaaa…

Eh…Dear, if you are reading this, got birthday cake for me or not???

De-Stress

Barnabas, Marriage 5 Comments »

MIL will be discharged today. I do not know whether the abcess has completely gone or not but I pray that she will be completely healed in no time. She will be staying at her son’s house till the maid come.

Starting yesterday, hubby will be home at every night. The assistant works the night shift. I was thinking with him around, I’ll be de-stress but Barnabas still cries even when his daddy carries him! He wants me and me alone!!! I hope after seeing his daddy everyday from now, the bonding will be created.

For last night, hubby helped to wash the dishes, changed the girls into their pyjamas, feed the dog and hang the laundry. Thanks dear. :D

Weekend

Saturday

Praise God that we finally got a part-time assistant for the shop. For a month. Better than none at all. Started work on Saturday and we were able to travel to Selayang on Sunday to visit MIL without closing the shop. He was one of the students whom hubby taught at the National Service in Alor Gajah last year. A Christian boy. Good looking too. hehe.

***

Belle vomited again. I was very very angry that I spanked her butt 3 times but she did not make a sound at all. She knew that she was wrong. She was crying, I asked her what was wrong. She shakes her head. I asked her whether she wanted to vomit, she shake her head again. I told her to shift facing the floor, she did not move. I carried her and let her face the floor she vomited on the mattress again! When I switched on the light, there was vomit on the bolster. She vomited earlier!

Barnabas woke up crying. I removed the bedsheet and pillow case and changed her pyjamas. Phoned hubby. Told him to help me rinse all those when he comes back home. If not, just throw it in the rubbish bin. Yes, I am that angry!

Then I lectured Belle while carrying Barnabas. She listened then came to me and said “Sorry”. I put Barnabas down, hugged her and assured her that I still love her. Back to bed.

Sunday

Pack up things to travel to Country Homes, Rawang (BIL house) then to Selayang Hospital to visit MIL. This is Clarissa’s & Barnabas’ first trip out of Malacca. I was expecting a chaos journey but praise God that they behaved well and slept most of the time!

I gave Belle some of Clarissa’s “vomit” syrup. It works. She did not vomit last night. Maybe her tummy too much wind. Seeing Belle taking the medicine, I did not have any problem giving Clarissa her antibiotic syrup. Next time, I’ll know what to do. :D

My dad came in the morning to pluck the starfruits to sell. Hubby got no time for it. He sold more 40kg of them and gave some to my aunt. We brought along 20kg to Rawang.

Ice

Kiki has sore throat too. My heart so pain pain when I see her not able to eat or even drink.

She wants rice, eat a spoon, cry.

She wants milk, took a hold of the bottle of milk, returned it back to me, cry.

She wants water, took a sip, cry.

She was unable to sleep last night. Keep on crying. Hubby told to give her some ice. She was so excited when I gave her 2 cubes of ice. Requested me to pour some into the cup with ice. She drank it but cried with every sip. After she drank all the water, she ate the ice.

I lie down beside her and she fell asleep shortly after around 1.30am.

Hubby woke me up when he came home after work. Then I remembered that I have not brush my teeth yet! hehe.

Vomit

I came home to a washed car porch. All the mess has been cleaned up. I think BIL strike 4D! hehe. One job done. Praise God.

Went to my mom’s. Got the girls in the car and went to buy milk then to the child specialist clinic. My girls were very happy to be there coz there’s a slide, a swing and a rocking reindeer. Fever also subsided.  :)

In the consultation room, she pushed the stethoscope away with her left hand and crying but her left fingers were busy pressing the piano on the doctor’s table!

For a bottle of antibiotic, a bottle syrup to prevent vomiting (dunno what name) and toys to play, I was charged RM35.00.

When giving her the medicines, half of them were spit out. Praise God that she managed to eat some “taibak”, a spoon of rice last night and an ounces of milk this morning at 3.30am.

After Barnabas is fast asleep, I lie down beside Kiki coz she was whining. She refused the wet hanky but I still place it on her forehead for a second or two. After consoling her, giving her the assurance that I’ll be beside her, she finally fell asleep.

Belle woke up at 12.30am, vomited on the bed and later another round at Kiki’s comforter. She stepped on the vomit and got some of the vomit on Kiki’s bed sheet. So I got a King size bed sheet, a pillow case, a single bed sheet, a comforter, Belle’s pyjamas and my socks to wash. During the rinsing of the vomit, I gagged many many times and finally I vomited some too!

Then I mopped the sticky floor. Thank God Barnabas did not wake up during that time.

I’ve done up my schedule but not putting it up here. I dun want my reader to feel stress for me.

Actually, on Tuesday, I’m supposed to meet/interview a Chinese boy for the business. However, it has been postponed to yesterday coz I had gastric.

My PM (evening) schedule for yesterday was “Washing Verandah & Car Porch”. But I skipped that. Worried that I’ll get the gastric attack again. I just took my time, folding the clothes, feed the chicken, pluck some chili padi, boil water and cook rice. Then off to my mom’s to get the girls and boy ready to go to daddy’s shop.

Since I was there early, I wanted to bake muffins but I do not have enough of the paper casing. Next time around.

The boy came 10 mins late and told hubby that his auntie wanted him to help in her factory. Ok, bye-bye. In the first place he did not give me a good first impression.

Then we packed our stuff and headed home. Kiki slept in the car! It is unusual of her to do that. She will usually monkeying around in the car. Once arrived home, I put her on the bed and she continued sleeping until 10.30pm. Maybe she’s too tired. After 5 mins of waking up, she started to whine and cry. Something is wrong. Make milk for her but she doesn’t want it. She is having fever! While consoling her and giving her medicine Barnabas woke up coz I was not beside him and he wants attention too. He cried out his lung!!!

Here, I was struggling to get Kiki to drink the paracetamol syrup and there he is screaming. Belle was too engrossed making her teddy bear pretty. I phoned hubby to come home early if possible.

After Kiki has calm down and slept. Barnabas vomited due to too much crying. Vomit on his daddy’s comforter some more. Wash the comforter. Make some milk for Barnabas too. While drinking he poop! After cleaning him up, the room is peaceful again. Phoned hubby, not to rush back as everything is under control. Get myself changed and sleep.

Somehow or rather, I woke up earlier this morning. So I fried rice and fried chicken for hubby’s lunch. Then feed the chicken, hang laundry and wash the verandah but the car porch only a small part coz Kiki and Barnabas woke up for milk. Will continue washing after work. :D

I think Kiki ate too much white chocolate yesterday!

Since the first time I forgotten to add in the detergent in my laundry, I forget many times! Today also forget!!! What is wrong with me??!!

Maybe there is too many house chores to be done in my mind. The moment I wake up, which one shall I do first?

Take the broom, sweep the floor. While sweeping,

Should I mop the floor today?
Which part to mop first? Kitchen, Dinning Hall or Living Hall?
Oh No! Need to wash clothes first! Leave the sweeping, put the laundry in the washing machine. (this is the part where I forget the detergent)

Continue sweeping. While sweeping,
Rice not yet cook! Nevermind lar, cook this evening after work. The dog just have to eat later today. Mopping when ah? Maybe I’ll do it every Monday & Friday (morning 1/2 and evening 1/2). That way when the family comes back the floor is clean and after they gone back I’ll clean up the mess.

Finish sweeping.
The chicken is extra noisy now. Better go feed them.

Aiyo! The girls’ shoes are so dirty. Got time to wash or not? Look at the clock. No time. I’ll soak it tonight and wash the next day.

Laundry is done. How come no soapy smell??? Alamak, forget the detergent again!!! Put it back in, add in the detergent and softener. Wash again. Rosak lar baju gua! Must remind hubby to hang it for me.

Barbanas is crying. Milky time. Clarissa woke up too. After they finished drinking, I have to get ready for office.

Should I wake up earlier??? But then, I won’t have sufficient rest. Must do up my schedule already!!!

Actually, I planned to cook Ayam Masak Merah for hubby this morning. Already blended the chilli yesterday’s evening but I got gastric attack again last night. Maybe due to the pineapple that I ate and I was extra sleepy. Maybe the past 2-3 nights I slept after 12mn. Or maybe I have overworked for the past 2 weeks. So my body just breakdown! Thank God, it is just gastric and sleepiness and not runny nose or fever.

Maybe I’ll cook it tomorrow.

Time to prepare my schedule now.

Let’s have a party

Corn & Choc

Food 4 Comments »

Just found out from my mom that my dad buys corn for chicken at a much cheaper price. RM45 for 50kg. I am buying at RM1.10 for a kilo from the sundry shop. Since I got plus minus 40 chickens under my care now, I get my dad to buy for me. Later claim from the family account. :)

Now, I am their master! The moment I step my feet out of the house, all of them will run after me. Now I know, how it felt like being a celebrity! kekeke. Then I’ll tell them, “You wait, ok…I want to hang my laundry first.” Realising that I’m not carrying any container, they will leave me for while. Ya, I talk to my chicken now!!!

***

The dog loves me too! Her name is Belle too! I give her good food. Bones, eggs, noodles, nasi beriani, fish heads etc. My MIL is too concern about her diet, cannot eat chicken lar, cannot eat egg lar, no salty food and no “itchy” fish. If all those cannot, what to feed her then???

***

SIL from UK came home yesterday for 2 weeks to care for her mom (MIL). She brought home lotsa goodies from there. Mostly chocolates! My girls would love it. :D Her first Malaysian breakfast is Roti Canai. Maybe I’ll get for her Nasi Lemak next for tomorrow’s breaskfast.

***

MIL is in GH now. Her sons transferred her from private hospital to GH due to the cost. The drainage done in the private hospital wasn’t successful and surgery needs to be done and that will cost more than RM10k. We have already spent more than RM10k there.

I think by now, the CT Scan has been done. From the result the doctor will decide whether to continue the drainage or surgery. If surgery, she will be transferred to Selayang. No specialist here in Malacca.

Whatever it is, am praying hard that she will heal complete soon. If not, I’m going to send her chicken to the slaughter house one by one! hehehe…kidding. I don’t like the taste for her kampung chicken. Different than my mom’s. Anyone wanna buy kampung chicken from me? :D

***

I got this bad feelings that I won’t be able to celebrate my birthday this year. And I don’t like the feeling. Shoo Shoo…Go away bad feelings.

Update 17Nov:
After the scan the doctor found a few more spots of the abcess in her liver. She might be transferred to Selayang. Will know about it today. We are praying hard for her salvation.

2nd Update of the day:
She will be going to Selayang Hospital on Sunday. Must go visit her before she leaves.

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
