Left Alone Again
Barnabas, Belle, Clarissa, Marriage September 25th, 2006Hubby is away again for one whole week attenting the International Sport Conference in KL.
I went home early last night at 8pm to accompany MIL. She’s alone. But she’s busy watching TV and making brooms using the coconut leaves (raut penyapu).
8.30pm, Barnabas slept, sms my colleague asking her whether she wants muffin since puasa month difficult to get breakfast. So, bake muffins for her and myself too.
While preparing the batter…
Belle wants to pass motion.
Belle wants to break the egg.
Kiki wants me to open the yogurt. Mess up herself eating it.
The first tray of muffins went in the oven…
Barnabas woke up. Feed him milk.
Belle and Kiki spread out ALL their toys on the floor.
Somebody, glued a book to the floor.
Oh No! My menses stained the bedsheet I just bought for hubby.
Need to change pad.
Put Barnabas down, he cried.
Muffins ready.
Soak the bedsheet, my stained undies and tights.
Kiki ate a muffin in the room. Refused to eat outside.
Muffins everywhere on the floor.
My arms are tired from carrying Barnabas. Put him down, CRY.
10pm, told the girls to keep ALL their toys back into box. Half way doing it,
“I’m tired, Mommy”.
“Next time don’t “sepah” ALL your toys. Faster, keep everything. Time to sleep already.”
“Okay.”
While sweeping the room floor…
“Mommy, I smell something.”
“What smell?”
“Something smelly.”
“Clarissa ngk-ngk isit?”
“Yes!”
Barnabas still crying.
No time to wash her stained undies, just leave it in the bathroom.
Change Belle and Clarissa.
Clarissa runs away when I took out the diapers.
Showed her the cane (cloth hanger).
“Do you wants this?”
“Don’t want!”
“If you don’t want, come here!”
Repeated the above few times before I dragged her to the diapers!
SMS hubby, told him what happened. He called. To call him back when I’m ready. “When, I’m ready???, can never be ready until everyone sleep.”
“Mommy, I want milk”
“Mommy, I want milk”
“Wait ah, Mommy let Barnabas drink milk first”
While preparing milk for them…
“Clarissa, don’t jump on the bed, fall down, knock your head, pain-pain!”
She fell.
Picked her up, put her back on the bed, cry a lil bit more then she repeated what I said.
“Fall down, knock your head!”
Change Barnabas. Put him on the bed. Let him cry. Called hubby.
After that, switched off the light, everybody ZZZzzzzzz. I got sore-throat!
Tonight, going home at 10pm only.
