Miss U

Due to his previous nature of vocation, when he is away from home it will be a long period of time. From 1 night to 3 weeks.

When I was without any children, I miss him a lot as I went home to an empty house and slept by myself.

When I have Belle, I miss him less. I got Belle to accompany me.

When I have Belle & Kiki, I don’t miss him much coz Belle is independent and Kiki is a no fuss baby.

When I have Belle, Kiki & Barnabas, I miss him A LOT! You can read about the chaos from my previous post without him around.

He came back telling me that he is considering going to South Indian for a one month training! *faints*

With a smiling face (force one), I told him, “You go lar.” :D

Turning

Compliments

This is one of the reason why we need daughter(s).

I am wearing this dress now. Just now, when I went back to my mom’s for lunch, Kiki walked around me, touched my dress… “Mommy, nice. Mommy, nice.” I was beaming, “Really???” She nodded. I am so happy! Kids don’t lie you know. :D

Before that, a friend of mine, also an insurance agent, dropped by my office.

“Michelle, you look so thin lar…you must put on some weight!”

Must wear this dress more often. BTW, it’s not mine. It belongs to my younger sister.

I love Friday! :D

Faces of Belle

To keep her entertain, I took pix of us.

She loves making funny faces when taking pix. Just like her daddy! :D
Did not get good shot of Kiki as she kept pulling the camera from my hand instead of sitting together with us for all the shots.

“I want to see, I want to see.” said Kiki.
“Wait lar, mommy take your pix first. Now, nothing to see.”
“I want to see, I want to see.” grabbing the camera from my hand.

Grilled Burger = Gastric Attack

Food 8 Comments »

I like beef burger. Due to the limited choice of it here, I usually get it either from McD or Burger King. Recently, Jason blog about Grilled Ramly Burger. In his food review, I quote him “It tasted quite similar to McDonalds’ beef patty / quater pounder or Burger King’s beef patty, where you have this juicy and mushy mushy patty.”

Since I will be doing my rounds at my hubby’s shop, I went there to get a taste of it. I ordered Black Pepper Beef burger. Then sms Jason that I was there. Received his reply, “C U there.” Oh No! I’m not ready to meet him. As I was typing, “NO” “Hi Michelle” someone called. That gave me a fright! It was Jason. He looks so cute with his rounded baby face. If he where much much younger, I think, I’ll pinch both his cheek. Hehe. Had small talk then we left.

The burger was a disappointment to me.

  1. The bun is sweet.
  2. The salad is limbed.
  3. Only a few slices of thin slice onion.
  4. Is there any mayo and chili sauce in it? I saw some but I hardly taste it.
  5. Where’s the tomato? I saw tomato in Jason’s burger!
  6. Got minty taste meh???

The only nice thing about it was the patty is juicy. I rated it 5. Jason’s review gave me such a high expectation on it. Maybe I have different taste bud.

The worst part is, I got gastric attacked one hour after eating it! I ate all my meal on time. Something is wrong; it has to be the burger.

While breastfeeding Barnabas to sleep, I felt like vomiting. Unlatched him. He cried, of course. Run to the bathroom and vomited out the burger.

Still pain, but no choice, hubby not around to help put Barnabas to sleep. Endured the pain and breastfeed him again until he really falls asleep. This time, I can feel the gastric juice oozing out in my chest. It was very very painful. Cannot stand it anymore, cried. Called hubby, requested him to pray for me. A few minutes after that I felt like vomiting again. I vomited big time! ALL came out thru the mouth and nose. I felt so much better after that. The pain is still there but bearable. After a lil while, I managed to doze off.

I woke up this morning feeling much better. SMSed hubby, “Pain gone. PTL. The burger is banned” His replied, “HAHAHAHA” :P

Jason, please don’t feel bad okay. It’s just not my day. :)

Left Alone Again

Hubby is away again for one whole week attenting the International Sport Conference in KL.

I went home early last night at 8pm to accompany MIL. She’s alone. But she’s busy watching TV and making brooms using the coconut leaves (raut penyapu).

8.30pm, Barnabas slept, sms my colleague asking her whether she wants muffin since puasa month difficult to get breakfast. So, bake muffins for her and myself too.

While preparing the batter…
Belle wants to pass motion.
Belle wants to break the egg.
Kiki wants me to open the yogurt. Mess up herself eating it.

The first tray of muffins went in the oven…
Barnabas woke up. Feed him milk.
Belle and Kiki spread out ALL their toys on the floor.
Somebody, glued a book to the floor.
Oh No! My menses stained the bedsheet I just bought for hubby.
Need to change pad.
Put Barnabas down, he cried.
Muffins ready.
Soak the bedsheet, my stained undies and tights.

Kiki ate a muffin in the room. Refused to eat outside.
Muffins everywhere on the floor.
My arms are tired from carrying Barnabas. Put him down, CRY.

10pm, told the girls to keep ALL their toys back into box. Half way doing it,
“I’m tired, Mommy”.
“Next time don’t “sepah” ALL your toys. Faster, keep everything. Time to sleep already.”
“Okay.”

While sweeping the room floor…
“Mommy, I smell something.”
“What smell?”
“Something smelly.”
“Clarissa ngk-ngk isit?”
“Yes!”
Barnabas still crying.
No time to wash her stained undies, just leave it in the bathroom.
Change Belle and Clarissa.
Clarissa runs away when I took out the diapers.
Showed her the cane (cloth hanger).
“Do you wants this?”
“Don’t want!”
“If you don’t want, come here!”
Repeated the above few times before I dragged her to the diapers!
SMS hubby, told him what happened. He called. To call him back when I’m ready. “When, I’m ready???, can never be ready until everyone sleep.”
“Mommy, I want milk”
“Mommy, I want milk”
“Wait ah, Mommy let Barnabas drink milk first”
While preparing milk for them…
“Clarissa, don’t jump on the bed, fall down, knock your head, pain-pain!”
She fell.
Picked her up, put her back on the bed, cry a lil bit more then she repeated what I said.
“Fall down, knock your head!”
Change Barnabas. Put him on the bed. Let him cry. Called hubby.
After that, switched off the light, everybody ZZZzzzzzz. I got sore-throat!

Tonight, going home at 10pm only.

Encouragement

Business 9 Comments »

No doubt that business is not officially started but we were kinda down to see the response from the unofficial opening. The hypermarket that is supposed to open before Raya is still under construction. Only a textile shop opening soon. Just hope that, it will bring some crowd to the area.

Yesterday, a student, an indian boy, dropped by the shop. Instead of using our services, he just chatted with hubby. Giving him the encouragement that this kinda business will prosper etc. He is God sent. When we are down, He send someone that we didn’t even know to give us words of encouragement. :D

This morning, hubby managed to give out flyers to the housing area nearby. Need to print more for the foreign workers. Hubby will be away again for a week in KL. Will be back just a day before the “Grand” opening. So, the shop will be closed until then.

This Sunday, am going to try baking muffins in the smaller casing. So that on the actual day, I won’t be serving burnt muffins! Oh ya, we will be serving muffins. only. on the opening day. Drinks, got to buy lor. hehe.

No Diapers

Belle 4 Comments »

Belle have not been wearing diapers during night time for a month already.

One day she just told me that she do not want to wear diapers anymore. She will inform me if she needs to PU. Since a few nights before that she woke up with a dry diapers, I gave it a try. Since then no more diapers. Save lotsa money.

Oh ya, no waking up in the middle of the night to bring her to PU. We’ll get her to PU right before bed, she drinks her 5 ounces of milk and 3 to 4 ounces of water and sleep thru until 9.30am to 10am. Once she wakes up, she’ll PU, not in her pyjamas but in the toilet. My children don’t like potty at all. I bought the nice nice ones know. They like so scared to sit on it!

My 21 months old Kiki is still wearing lampin and diapers, day and night. My mom got no time to toilet train her :(

Expensive Lesson

Business 7 Comments »

We got our business license today but it is a temporary license. Valid for 3 months only.

Two main reasons:

1. Wrong spelling and wrong placement of the Malay word on the signboard.

We did not have the word “Ber” and the English wording is placed above the Malay wording. It has to be the other way round. We were informed that we needed to prioritize our national language. So we thought, by putting Malay word it would be sufficient but we were wrong! The advertising company has no idea about it also, as this is their first time doing signboard for this kind of business. And, hubby was so confident that he will be able to get the license by today, he informed them to print it out so that they can put it up by today. Since it has already been printed out, we will still put it up and change it before the expiry date of the license. It will cost us another RM450.00. So, to those who plan to start your own business, wait for the municipal to confirm your signboard before printing it.

2. No Approval from the police department yet.

The relevant department from the police force will monitor the business for 3 months. If everything is done according to the rules and regulations, then only they will issue the recommendation letter to the municipal to issue the permanent license. I think this should not be a problem, as we wish to provide a safe and suitable place for people from all ages and gender.

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
