Presenting my 1 day old son, Barnabas. Weighing at 3kg :D

Am I “good” in keeping secret??? hehehe

Well, just came home from the hospital and baby is sound asleep now. So got chance to blog about his birth.

My due date is supposed to be on the 1st of June but baby does not wanna come out yet so I was referred to the hospital for check up yesterday morning at 8am. During the check-up, my servic has opened by 4cm. The doctor said can give birth already, they will just rupture the waterbag and contraction will start. So I admitted myself to the labour ward. No rooms available coz so many wanna give birth on the same day. Since I got no pain, I’ve got to wait till there’s room available.

Finally at 3.30pm, room is available. The doctor can to rupture my waterbag. Had a very mild contraction. The last half hour seems like forever to me. The contraction was very intense and painful. I was holding to the bedpole and cry the pain out. If I’m a superwoman, the pole will melt!

The midwife helped to expedite the opening to 6cm. Later the contraction was soooooo painful that I felt like pushing. So I pushed! After a few pushes, Barnabas pop-out!

I cried and cried and cried! Due to the pain. Due to anger (husband wasn’t there). At that time, I feel like I wanna strangle my husband…if not because of him, I don’t have to go thru the pain! hehehe.

But then, no pain, no gain ya! Finally the much await son came into our family.

Praise God for the safe and smooth delivery and a healthy baby boy.

She is 1.5 year old today.

She started to fight back with her sister, Belle. Weapon used, her 8 sets of tooth.

I want you stuff I bite you. You take my stuff, I bite you. You pour water on my hair, I bite you. You push me, I bite you!

She can converse in short sentence now. Like, “Mommy, come help”, “Mommy, where scissors?”

Love humming to the tune of “Do a dear, a female dear”

Words she can say…I lost count…anything you say, she’ll follow.

Some of it are wriggle, sailing, home, climb etc.

She (they) loves books to the extend that we (the mommy and daddy) will run away when she brings the book for us to read for them!

Oh ya, she can cycle Belle’s “pink” bicycle. She will climb on the bike by herself and cycle small paddles since her leg not long enough then laugh at herself! Very cute. :D

Butter Cake

The first time I tried, it turns out marvelous. Followed the recipe step by step.

The 2nd and 3rd time, it was disaster! The cake did not rise and it looks very wet!

You see, I lost the recipe but remembered all the amount needed only the sequence, I forgot.

Requested for the recipe again from Jess today and realised where my mistake lies. Should add the milk last not after the eggs! That’s what I ‘ve done lar.

Can somebody tell me, why is it so?
