Allergic to Saturdays

The moment I step out of my car at the plant I’m working at, my nose starts to itch. After a while I’ll start sneezing and this will last the whole time I’m at the office. Mostly on Saturday.

My nose is very sensitive to dust. If any worker were to walk in or pass a paper that comes from the production, I’ll start sneezing too!

But why Saturdays? Hubby was saying maybe, there’s a factory somewhere in the same industrial area that releases “something”, their toxic waste maybe into the air the night before!

Now my nose is sensitive to toxic waste too?!

Finally, my girls stop coughing. Thanks to the hot weather. They are exactly like their daddy. When they have runny nose or coughing, it is because their body is cold not heaty. It’s the opposite with me. I wanna live in a cold country, my body can’t really tolerate hot and humid weather but my children and their daddy can’t. Hmm…what shall I do??? ;)

Oh ya, besides giving them cough syrup. I applied Vicks on them, wear them thick clothing at night, brought them to the beach, let them run and sweat it out, and let them drink warm water and eat grapes.

Daddy: ABC
Belle: Keladi hutan
Daddy: Babi mati
Belle: Annabelle makan!

The above was taught by my dad. Whenever Belle recites her ABCs, my dad will tease her with that rhyme. Few nights ago, hubby casually recites the ABCs and expecting Belle to complete it…in which D should follow after C. Instead, she said “Keladi Hutan”. It surprised her daddy but he was quick enough to recall the rhyme and said “Babi mati”…

We have a good laugh after that

It is nice to hear Belle speaks in Malay. She got that typical Mat Saleh slang! :D
