On CNY preparation

My attempt to bake butter cookies for CNY didn’t turn out as I expected.
Firstly I did not use pure butter. So the cookies turned out tasteless, no butter taste at all. Then I mixed lots and lots of chocolate chips and 2 tablespoon of powdered milk to get the milky taste. It tasted just ok.
Half way baking, the oven failed me. It stopped heating! Left 2 more trays to go, so I brought it to my mom’s and use our old faithful gas oven.
Don’t think I’ll serve it for my CNY guest.
Went home for a while during lunch, saw hubby munching on it while watching tv. Hmm…at least someone is eating it.

Good ler, at least you got a hubby who is like the city council garbage collector, eating and appreaciating the works of your hands!

dv > ya…he anything also wallup…good to have this kinda of husband coz this kinda wife not good in cooking. hehehe.
