Dislocated

Belle’s right arm was dislocated yesterday!

I have just undressed Belle for her morning shower. I was sited down, she stood up in front of me holding both my hand. Then she pulled my hand and twisted her arm. After that, she started crying and her arms looked limb. Holding to her arm, she cried, “Mommy, pain pain” I tried to straighten her arms but she cried and refuse to let me take a look at it or touch it.

She refused to take her shower so I wear back her t-shirt. She cried in pain as I dress her. Hubby told her to go out and play thinking that it was just a minor twist. She walked to the living room to watch Barney with her cousin. Hubby went to church and I bathe Kiki.

When the show finished, I called her to come to the room but she sat in front of the tv crying. ½ an hour and the pain still have not left her. This is serious. I called my mom to get my aunt to bring us to the Chinese Physician.

I carried her to the car as she refused to walk. Even with a slight touch to the arm, she cried. She wanted to lie down in the car, but she could not move her arm, as it was too painful. She cry and cry and cry. I was so heartbroken. Maybe it was my fault after all.

The moment I arrived at my mom’s, took her out and I broke down seeing her in pain. (maybe when my own mom is around, it is ok to cry…hehe)

Arranged with my aunt to meet somewhere coz I do not know the physician’s house. On the way there, dropped by at church to pick up hubby. I cried all the way to church. Every time Belle doze off she hit her arm, she cried. Once hubby is driving, I sat behind with her and she managed to sleep a for while in my arm.

At the physician’s house, she struggled and screamed in my hubby’s arm when the physician wanted to take a look at her arm. After a while they managed to get her to straighten her arm. The physician applied a kind of ointment to the arm, pulled her arm and then pushed it back in. She did not cry during the process. I was so worried that I would cry again if she scream and wail during the pulling and pushing process.

We tried asking her to move her arms around but she refuses, so the physician took a pack of chocolate and hand it to her. She wanted to take it with her left hand but the physician told her to use her right hand. She reached her right hand out and grabbed it. All of us were so relieved after that. Totally no pain after that. Physician fee RM10.00 only.

Later, she asked me, “Mommy, why no pain?” I replied, “The uncle very clever, he just pull your hand and push it back, then no pain.” She smiled. Later at night, hubby pretended that he twisted his leg. Belle came to the rescue. Pulled his leg and pushed it back in! :D

Am still undecided on what to have for Kiki’s 1st birthday celebration.

At first I wanted to have Steamboat but recently we had steamboat twice. My mom suggested Satay Celup instead. If I have Satay Celup, the children mo makan apa won’t be able to enjoy it as it will be spicy?

Maybe, I just prepare some fried rice, fried bee hoon, butter prawn, steamed otak-otak, fried popiah with yam filling, meatball & fishball soup, fruits & walnut cake from Secret Recipe.

But then ah…it needs more time and lotsa preparing and cooking.

Still undecided…
