Bye Bye 2005

The things that happen around me easily affect me. Testimonies, complains, criticism, problems etc. My question…What will happen to an organization where the leader/s cannot accept criticism and will try to rationalize every single action and words?

*****

Spiritually speaking, my spiritual life has been very dry this year. Not going to give any excuses here. I am currently reading “Tribulation Force: The Continuing Drama of Those Left Behind” by Tim Lahaye & Jerry B. Jenkins. I hope this book will be able to “kick me in the butt” and wake me up from my slumber.

*****

Heard from my mom that dad is planning to start a kopitiam.

*****

2nd sister (Baby Dylan’s mommy) is flying back to Kuching today. Might not be coming back for CNY.

*****

In my head now “Ding Dong Bell, Pussy in the Well”
Belle kept repeating the rhyme this few days.

Update

Belle, Clarissa, General 4 Comments »

Well, you don’t see much update from me because I have been VERY busy at work. Customers are stocking up before Chinese New Year. Meaning, more orders coming in. Meaning, Miche is busy planning, buying, delivering & billing.

I won’t be blogging much for the next 3 months, I guess.

*****

I puke big time last Sunday. Had a terrible gastric due to eating sour fruit that was not too sour to me!

Kiki is catching up fast in her ability to utter perfect word…loud and clear. Unlike, Belle, I don’t really keep track on the words that she say. The last word that I heard from her was “Bread”. She calls me “Mommy” from the very beginning…No “Papa” or “Jie Jie” like Belle did when she was her age. She calls Belle, “Jie Jie” and her dad, “Daddy”. Becoming more mischievous each day. (more like me…hehehe)

*****

Belle is becoming more chatty. I enjoyed that. Listening to her, forming sentences to convey her message to me. I hope she can be more chatty but her mommy and daddy is not a very chatty person….so what more can you expect. duh. :D

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Dear! :D

*****

I took 1/2 day leave to be with my Dear. We went for lunch at Kenny Roger’s Roasters. Had 3/4 bird, 9 side dishes, 3 muffins (one flavour each) and 2 glasses of Ice Lemon Tea. Then we went for a movie, “The Chronicles of Narnia”. On the way home, we dropped by a cake shop to buy a cake, German Chocolate Cake.

Fetched my girls from my mom. At home, we sang Happy Birthday song, blow the candle, cut the cake and we eat the cake.

Birthdays aren’t as exiciting once you are above 30 years old. I kinda dreaded to hear people wishing me Happy Birthday. It reminds me, “Hey, you are not young anymore!” It sucks.

I want to be 27 every year. Yes, 27 not 18 or 21. 27 is the best year in my life. I got a wonderful job, my own $$$, got a new Kancil for myself, found back my true love and first love too, got married and i was in my bestest shape!

Belle’s New bed

Belle 7 Comments »

At last, we bought a proper bed for Belle. All this while, we just borrowed mattress from other rooms that belongs to her cousins that comes back occasionally.

We went to a furniture shop nearby our place yesterday, wanting to get a queen size mattress. Then we spotted the above cute Pooh bed…divan + mattress. The moment Belle sees it, she loves it, who doesn’t. :)

After making payment, we went into the car but Belle refuses coz we did not bring the bed with us. Then we told her that the uncle is helping us to bring the bed home. In the car, she kept looking at the back, making sure that the lorry is following us!

Clarissa 1st Birthday

Dear Baby,
Happy Birthday to You,
Happy Birthday to You,
Happy Birthday to You, Clarissa,
Happy Birthday to you.

Your have grown smarter and prettier each day. Mommy praised God for you. You are such a wonderful and happy baby, smiling most of the time when you are not sick.

And yes, you fall sick today. Daddy brought you to the child specialist due to your high temperature and discovered that you have throat infection. Poor baby. :(

You did not smile today but you sure enjoy the choc banana birthday cake that daddy bought for you. Sorry, we could not give you more coz of your fever. Oh ya, your Jie-Jie Belle cried when we sang the birthday song to you. She thought the birthday cake is for her. Anyway, all of us sang another round for her. Your Jie-Jie helped to blow the candle and cut the cake for you.

Mommy prepared steamboat for the guest. Those who came are Uncle Andrew and family, Uncle Chee Chiang and family, EePoh Bee Hwa, Kor-Kor Hang Hang, Kor-Kor Dan Dan, Jie-Jie Jacklyn, Mama, Kor-Kor Harris, Ee May May. Your Uncle Cheng & wife was the last to come.

You received lots of angpow, a dress each from Auntie Vicky, Jie-Jie May May & Kor-Kor Harris and a lovely card from Uncle Chee Chiang and family.

You slept early today, before the guest left.

Below are some of the pix…

Not much pix though coz i was busy serving our guest.

Decided

Steamboat at my place tomorrow at 8pm. All are invited. hehehe.

Reason:
Not advisable for me to take 1/2 day leave to prepare/cook. Too busy at work. Boss sure scream if they found out I’m missing.

Can’t serve satay as Belle wont enjoy it. Furthermore, a church friend of mine just recovered from breast cancer. Satay or fast food, not healthy for her.

Satay Celup, too spicy for the children.

So, steamboat is the simplest and easiest. After work, rush to the factory that sells all types of fishballs and meatballs then to nearby supermarket for the veges (maybe i can go shopping again today).

If you know where I live, come, come.

Dying alone

Clarissa, Food, General, Marriage 5 Comments »

Received a call from one of the church member informing that his FIL pass away alone in the house last Sunday.

I felt sad for him.

Do I mind dying alone?
Do I want my children to be at my death me and see me dying?

*****

All this while I thought he fully understand my health condition. I proved myself wrong.
“Lame excuse” I can never forget that word!

*****

Woke up 1/2 earlier this morning to buy Nasi Lemak near Klebang Beach. Had it for breakfast and lunch. Boy, it makes me real sleepy! Too much santan (coconut milk)

*****

Been very busy past few days and going to be busy till mid next year. Operation running for 24 hours starting this morning.

Do I want to request for another clerk to assist me? Let’s wait and see the work load first.

*****

Still undecided about Kiki 1st birthday celebration. Another option is to buy Satay and Pizza.

Dear

Belle approaches her daddy who is watching movie.

Belle: Dear, carry Annabelle.
Daddy: Who “Dear”?
Belle: Do a dear, a female dear (giggling away)

Children nowadays ah!
