Don’t bring home supper, please…
Food October 21st, 2005For the past few days, the BIL & SIL came back home at 10.30pm with supper. They bought not only for themself but for us too! If we have no self control, sure will become like SIL’s size. You want to maintain that size, please leave us alone, please…
If she buys and we don’t eat, it will be such a waste of money. The food will go to the dogs or chickens. If she finds out that we did not eat it, will that offend her?
Should I tell her not to buy for us? Will I offend her by doing so?

yeah i think just tell them not to bring supper for you guys or just bring 1 portion instead of two for you and hubby

if tell them nicely and the reason, it shldnt be too rude i guess. Just say you’re EAT IN THE MORNING person

if you are living with family, the best thing is not to assume but to be transperent with what you like and dislike. Just tell them straight to the point and gently not to bring back any supper.
If you still can’t get the message across, tell her that you don’t wanna end up like them.
Ask your hubby to talk to his bro… it will work better. Man are void of emotional responses!

yeah, u can say something like, u know, over supper, “dear, can u finish this pls… i kenot finish lah!” then proceed to twist a suffering facial expression to db, and then turn to ‘em and say “we are getting very prosperous these days! Next time no need so ‘hak hei’ buy so much for us *smile* i’ll just take a few bite from db” then proceed to hold up another 20-second smile to them.
now how bout that? hehe or don’t come out of the room all together for supper, get db to be the shield. hehehe (anyway, dont attempt these acts until after the diwali-raya week… thats when jason and i’d come a-visit :P)
