What did you call me???

Belle 7 Comments »

I was watching Smallville.

Belle was playing with her cousin brother, Greg on the floor in front of the tv. She wanted to show me something. I think something that she coloured.

She called, “Mommy”
I did not answer.
She called again, “Auntie Michelle”
She immediately caught my attention.
“What???” “What did you just called mommy?” I asked.
She smiled, “Mommy” then she giggled away.

She must have picked that up from her cousins. “How come all of them call my mommy Auntie Michelle?” she must have wondered.

*****

Belle was playing with the sand with her cousins. I walked to the car with Kiki in my arm. Before I even inform her, “Mommy going to mama’s house, ah” “You stay here and play with your cousins, ok?” She waved and said “Bye Mommy”

Like that ah…got jie-jie and kor-kor around don’t want mommy already.

Yes Yes Yesssssssssssss!

I got my satay celup and I broke my own record by eating 2 sticks extra. Maximum that I used to take is 15 sticks and I ate 17 sticks of it yesterday! I show the sticks first…

We went there quite late around 8.30pm coz eldest BIL came with his 5 children. Belle is very close to the youngest boy, Nat, 4 months younger than Belle. So we let her play with them until they return home to their estate bungalow in Alor Gajah. BIL is an Estate Manager.

We left Kiki with my mom and told mom that I will pack some satay celup for her. She wanted 10 sticks only.

We got a parking spot right in front of the shop! I felt like VIP as the owner there was waiting for me to get out from my car and ushered me into their shop and to my table. Haiya…only one thing lacking…no red carpet! kekeke

Well, I am not going to say much about the satay celup. I know some of you is cussing me and drooling at the same time. BTW, you guys should be thankful that my digital camera does not take sharp picture. Here are the shots:

Oh ya, while we were enjoying our satay celup, a group of girls came in. Hubby said, “Dear, look, see whether your Powerpuff is one of them” I said, “Cannot be lar…today not weekend” “You wouldn’t know”, he said. I think he is more anxious to meet Powerpuff than me. :D

Total spent: RM26.00.

No Satay Celup

Food 17 Comments »

I so wanted to eat satay celup but it rained heavily last night and I didn’t get to eat it. Then hubby suggested to take-away fried noodle from the restaurant nearby but I don’t feel like eating any noodles. So I ended up eating fried eggs with rice.

“Let’s go to KFC”, hubby suggested again. “What about Clarissa?” I asked. “Bring her along” he replied. I was kinda reluctant as it was raining and to bring Kiki along it would mean fork, spoon, serviette and whatever on the table will be flying around or dropping and either one of us have to keep her occupied by putting food in her mouth throughout. No peaceful meal for us.

Later hubby suggested, “Why not we buy chicken and the flour and we fry the chicken ourselves? More value for our money” hmm…can also

So, of he went to the supermarket nearby alone as I too lazy to go out.

He came home with one small bird, clean it and chopped it up. Psst…I dunno how to chopped chicken, hehehe.

The frying is done by ME!

So we ended up eating fried chicken instead of satay celup. I still wanna eat SATAY CELUP!!! Let’s wait for tomorrow. If no rain, we will sure go and I’ll bring my camera along and tempt those who are trying to reduce weight. Mwahahahaha. :P

7.00am
Wake up without alarm clock.

7.15am
Went to buy fish at a sundry shop nearby. On the way back, bought The Star.

8.00am
Hubby left home for a preaching engagement at a Tamil Church in Merlimau. And no, he does not preach in Tamil. The pastor there translates for him to Tamil.

Put some laundry in the washing machine then went back to bed.

Don’t bring home supper, please…

Food 12 Comments »

For the past few days, the BIL & SIL came back home at 10.30pm with supper. They bought not only for themself but for us too! If we have no self control, sure will become like SIL’s size. You want to maintain that size, please leave us alone, please…

If she buys and we don’t eat, it will be such a waste of money. The food will go to the dogs or chickens. If she finds out that we did not eat it, will that offend her?

Should I tell her not to buy for us? Will I offend her by doing so?

RM1 coin cannot be used by December 2005. So we cracked open our piggy bank to get the coins out. The piggy bank is not a pig but a bamboo stick. We have bamboo trees near our house. Chopped it down and make a tiny hole for the coins to enter.

It is quite a thick bamboo. Hubby tried to cut it using the saw…very tiring process. I suggested to him to use the axe, he tried but to no avail and then he patiently saw it until it is cut into 2.

Belle was so excited to see so many coins. When she was slightly younger, she always plays with the coins. I will put the coins in a small metal container; she will pour out everything then put it back in one by one. Then pour it out again and put it back in again and this process repeats until she get bored of it.

After we have separated the coins, we put it in a bag and Belle volunteered to carry it to the room. Not actually carrying, the coins is very heavy, she can only drag it.

Still have not counted the amount…will do after work before fetching Belle from my mom’s. Normally the coins will go to Belle’s saving account, since I have 2 siblings now, will split between 2 of them.

Oh ya, the coins are not mine…all are hubby’s. You know, guys will never keep coins in their wallet or pocket unlike we, ladies.

More Vcds

General 7 Comments »

Went to get 2 more work-out vcds from Tesco.

The Dance with Helen looks more simple and easy. More for beginner. Since I am already on the Paula Abdul’s, the step in Dance with Helen looks kinda bored to me. hehehe.

Salsacise looks very challenging. The steps may look simple but my butt is not that flexible to salsa!

The Ballet is definitely not for me. It is Belle’s but I have to follow along in order to get Belle started. :D Need to get my mom to sew a ballet dress for Belle and me!

Oh ya, the work-out vcds are for my lady boss also. She went to get the Paula Abdul’s herself and told, if I wanna buy somemore, buy for her also!

Update at 6.10pm: Just tried the Salsacise. I love it. It makes me feel sexy doing it!

Based on the Glossy Blue theme.
