Savory Muffins
Food August 22nd, 2005After feeling better from resting on Saturday’s afternoon, I have the urge to bake muffins. So I tried for the first time to bake savory muffins.
The recipe:
(A)
1 cup Self-Raising flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
(Sift the above)
(B)
1/2 cup Mince Beef
1 Onion, sliced (big ones)
Some finely Chop Garlic
a lil salt
(stir fry the above)
(C)
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 cup Yoghurt
62g Butter, melted
(mix the above till creamy)
(D)
1/2 cup shredded Mozarella cheese
Pour (C) into (A), mix it then add in (B) & (D). Bake for 20 mins at 190′C. Makes 10 small muffins.
Note: You can use Cheddar instead of Mozarella. Instead if mince beef, you can change it with bacon. Then no frying is needed.
