In His Time

For aneki and those who never seen rambutans.

The taste is very sweet. The texture…I do not know how to descride. Anyone can help me with this? hehe.

Last night in the car to my mom’s place with Belle.

Belle: Mommy, koyak (pointing to the car’s sunshade) koyak = tear, torn.
Me: Ya, it is torn.
Belle: Koyak.
Me: Mama says “koyak”. Mommy says “torn”.
Belle: Tornyak (torn + koyak)
Me: LOL

I feel lazy to eat rice today and don’t want my hands to get dirty so opt for burger instead.

Yesterday, dearest hubby got an itchy hands. Instead of waiting for me to come home from office to put that itchy hands to full use, he chopped down one of the rambutan tree at the back of our house.

As I got down from the car, I noticed that the backyard of the house looks so bright. Went to check it out, below is what I saw!

Then I heard hubby calling me to help out to pluck the rambutans. Instead, I go snap some pictures first.

After plucking 3 pails of it, hubby decided to chop down the whole trunk.

Thank God for the Indonesian workers from the factory I worked. They came to help pluck every single rambutans on the tree, chopped it down to smaller branches and cleared the place up. Gave them most of the rambutans and asked them to distribute among their neighbours and friends.

The above are the rambutans that I am supposed to pluck. Nice ya.

Finally the cat and her kittens are gone. No…I did not throw them by the roadside and let them be knockdown by the vehicles. We brought them to SPCA where they will live there until someone adopt them or until they go to their next home, heaven. BTW, do cats go to heaven too?

This morning I woke up to a fresh smelling house, no more smell of cat poops. I kinda miss the kittens. Love to see them running around and playing with each other but…I have babies staying in the house. Their health is more important.

About the SPCA, we have to pay RM30 for the cat and FOC for the kittens but hubby gave RM50. RM20 for 2 pieces of bricks (in a form of vouchers). They are collecting funds to build another shelter. We also brought along our old clothes to them. Now got more space in the “tu baju” (wardrobe) for new clothes.

Before going there, I was expecting the place to be stinking with animals’ poops but it is so clean and no poops smell. There are lots of dogs there. Oh, Oh…there is a Chiwawa, a Dalmatian and the dog with the very long legs (don’t know what they are call) there.

After that we head home and dropped by Tesco to buy diapers and stuff for muffins. Ya, I am going to bake muffins this coming weekend.

Reach home for lunch. Kiki in her walker. Very excited to see me. Raise her hand for me to pick her up. I carried her, she touches my face then opens her mouth big big and muuaakkk on my face. So cute hor…:D She is better now and smiling again.

My dear hubby is down with flu also! Last night, after coming home from cell group meeting…

Hubby: Can you handle both the children and let me sleep first?
Me: No.
Hubby: Ok. Thank you. off he went to bed
Me (in my heart): How come I never get this kind of privilege? How come when I am sick, I still have to care for the children? hmmph!

My rimless glasses is broken. It happened at the cell group meeting when Kiki off balance and hit her head at my spec!

Brought the muffins to cell group. Finished all. I managed to eat 1/2 a piece only! Maybe I’ll bake Peach & Yoghurt Muffins next week. Meeting a friend from Singapore…so excited! hehe

Dear God, please increase my immune system and not let me fall sick too. Please, Please, Please. And would you please heal Belle and Kiki completely? And please do not let hubby get worst. Heal him too. Thank You very much.

Choc Chips & Almond Muffins

Finally, I did it right and it turned out right. It looks like a muffin and tasted like a muffin. Didn’t use buttermilk though. Couldn’t find one, even at Jaya Jusco. So I used fresh milk instead. Not my milk but the boxed milk lar. hehe.

So, I decided to stop baking muffins for a while. Nothing to look forward to, no more challenges.
