Papa

Clarissa 8 Comments »

Kiki said her first word “Pa Pa” at 9.20pm today!!!

Update:
After she said a few papas, I brought her out from the room to meet her papa, to let her papa hear she say “pa pa”. She just look at her papa and smile at her papa.

Kiki, say “Pa Pa”, say “Pa Pa”, say “Pa Pa”. No “Pa Pa” comes out from her cute lips. She just smile and ignore her papa. So starhawk, do you still think she likes her papa more than mama, just because she is a girl?

I cried again!

Watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on TV3 last night (from 11pm until 2am). A Hindi movie acted by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan. I seldom watch Hindi movies but not this one. I watched this movie many many times until the pirated VCD cannot be played anymore! No matter how many times I watch it, I will sure shed tears.

This time around, I watched it with hubby.

Just the 2 of us.
Rest my head on his broad shoulder.
Arms wrapped around his muscular body.
My sexy legs, wrapped around his hairy leg.

Very rare occasion. Coz most of the time, either the children or mom-in-law will be around.

The movie reminds me so much of my love story and my first love. First time watching it when I was still with my ex. Dreaming and hoping that he will be as sporting as Salman Khan to let me go to my first love. And my first love will actually confess that he still loves me and saved me from marrying my ex. Well, not going into details here. You can read more about it here.

Even after the movie ended, I still shed tears while lying in bed thinking about movie and my past. I am so relieved that it is my hubby besides me, not my ex. But the thought is not enough. I requested for us to become one. It was a sweet moment of a union between 2 lovers. Thank you Lord for blessing us with each other.

Well, in less than 2 minutes, I heard him snoring! Tsk tsk tsk.

At the beach

Belle, Clarissa, Marriage 15 Comments »

When hubby is free, he will bring us to the beach for a walk in the evening. It is more for Belle coz the whole day time she’ll be at my mom’s, sitting down watching tv. No exercise.

They walk.
They run.
They stop.
He carried her on his shoulder. I miss the time when hubby does that to me. I’m too heavy now he said! :(
She cried. Tired of running and wants to be carried.

Me? I’ll be carrying Kiki and following behind them.

Update:
Hubby was kind enuf to take care of the children and let me watch Hitch last night. Thank you dear! Love You lah.

Bye Bye Hunks

General 6 Comments »

Saturday
Hubby did not bring home 3 handsome hunks from Nagaland, instead he brought back 3 hunks from 3 different countries, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Philippines. Belle doesn’t like the Bangladeshi coz, he likes to disturb her. She dislike him to the extend that she crawled on the floor (in church) in order avoid looking at him or him picking her up. I was not able to “save” her because I was carrying Kiki; she crawled to me and tried to hide her head in between my legs! However the Bangladeshi slept over at another church member’s house because his flight was later in the evening the next day.

Sunday
We left home at 7.30am to KLIA with Belle sleeping on my lap in her pajamas. With us was Manong (meaning Brother in Tagalog) Cico who is a pastor from Manila and Manong Kris, a fulltime youth leader from Bali who is in love with another youth leader from Singapore, Ing and was too shy to make the first move when they were together at the training! The journey to KLIA was filled with laughter when they started teasing him and giving him tips on how to win the her heart. And at the same time another pastor; Don from Philippines is also interested in her. May the better man win.

We had our breakfast at Burger King on my request. That was the main reason I followed hubby to KLIA. I wanted to eat Whoopee Burger. No Burger King outlet in Malacca. :(

Before we said our goodbyes, Belle squated in the middle of the walkway and poo-poo. She refused to be moved until she is done. And she did it again in the one of the choc shop! But I don’t mind cleaning her there coz the washroom is so clean and dry and they supply lots of tissue.

Then we said our goodbyes. I wanna hug too! (from the hunks, of course) hehe

The parking rate was so high. We were there for 1.5 hour and it cost us RM6.50.

Oh ya, notice the pink baby-t I was wearing? Hubby bought it at the Eagle Ranch (the training venue). I love it. Before that I was so worried when he told me that he bought a t-shirt for me. He is not good in buying things for me coz i’m so choosy. hehe. So I will always tell him, “Please do not buy me anything unless it is edible!”

On the way home, Belle felt asleep the moment the car moved. So I occupied myself by taking pix of the clouds. The above is the one I like best.

Kiki at 6.5 mths

Kiki is growing up extremely FAST compared to her sister and other babies of her age that I know.

She holds her own bottle during feeding.
Senang gua! Buat susu, sumbat kat mulut dia, back to Zzzzzz.

She started climbing but do not know how to crawl yet!
This one not that senang coz kena jaga in case she jatuh.

Some people say, it is not good for baby to stand at a very early age but she is doing it on her own. Should I stop her?

Shit

Cat shit.

The cat shitted on the mattress for the 2nd time. The thing is, I saw it when my mom-in-law already went to bed! Being a good dot-in-law, I wipe it out a bit while holding my breath. Still, I gag when I threw the tissue that I used into the toilet bowl. Cat shit really really stinks. Then I went to her room, called her and told her that her cat shitted again on her son’s mattress. She came out, took a look at it and went back to her room.

At that time, I was vacuuming the room next to it coz hubby bringing home 3 handsome hunks from Nagaland (North Eastern End of India) today to stay for a night before their flight home tomorrow.

So I thought she clean the rest of it. To my HORROR, she did not!!! Being a good dot-in-law again, what-to-do, *sigh* I cleaned it up. Later, I was not able to fall asleep. The smell and the image of the shit haunted me!

This morning when I was relating the horror to my colleague, I gag 3 times and I can’t continue my breakfast! Infinity Yucks! UUUUwekkkk…

Haiya, I should taken pix of it and make you bloggers gag along with me! Mwahahahaha.

I am so loved

This morning after drinking her milk at 5am, I lie down beside her. She touched my face and started her baby talk. Maybe she was telling me bedtime stories. She likes to admire my face and touch it with her tiny hands. We fall asleep together. I feel so loved by Kiki, my 6 months old baby.

Our Lunch Today

Food 12 Comments »

We had durians, rambutans and mangosteen for lunch!

We got the durians and mangosteen for free. From youngest sister’s employer’s orchard. My brother went to pick up some this morning. They have around 30 durian trees in the orchard. Last year my dad helped them to collect the durians and sell them. This year, only 10 trees bear fruits. No selling but we can collect it for our own consumption, anytime. God bless them! hehe.

The rambutan is ours. We have a few trees around our house. Come to Malacca, I’ll let you feast on my rambutans. :)

Breastfeeding or Nursing

Marriage 8 Comments »

Why do some mommy call breastfeeding, nursing? What does a nurse do? Clean your wounds, stitch you up, clean you, take your blood, asked you to take your pills etc but do they breastfeed you? NO. Mommy does all those plus breastfeeding (oh ya, mommy doesn’t do stitching). So why call it nursing? Is the word breastfeeding sounds so vulgar?

To me, I am not ashamed to tell people that I breastfeed, I don’t use the word nurse. Not all women can breastfeed easily. Those with inverted nipple will have to use special equipment to express out their milk. So they cannot breastfeed at anytime anywhere. Some women refused to breastfeed their child. The reason, “My breast not firmed later and it wouldn’t look sexy anymore” Haiya, so selfish, like that better not become a mother. As a mother we want the best for our child and mommy’s milk is the best. Wear push-up bra lar after that, you’ll look more sexy!

Past few days, my nipple and “the round black patch around the nipple”. (Haiya, just can’t remember the word for it) itch like nobody’s business and hubby is not around to “help out”. *sigh* I was thinking, maybe the excess milk blocks them. So I press my nipple hard to get it out. Nothing comes out. So, I just rub it and scratch the area lar. Then it strikes my mind that I have stopped breastfeeding Kiki for almost 2 weeks. Maybe that is the side effect. Anyway, it is okay today. No more itch. Praise God.

Woof! asked me some question on expressing milk. Read it here.

My Lunch Today

General 6 Comments »

Let me share my lunch with you today. I had Chicken Pong Teh, Fried Long Bean & Salted Fish with rice. Drink? Well, I don’t take any drinks with my lunch. Usually I drink half an hour or one hour later. Do not want to dilute the acid that is needed to digest my meal.

I’m a nyonya, that is why you see a hand there instead of fork & spoon or chopsticks. I’ll only use utensils when I eat other food than rice or when I am lazy to wash my plate. When eating with hubby (he will always use his fingers to eat), he’ll will wash up for me if I use the spoon. Clever hor…hehe ;)
