Heaven is So Real
Dove March 29th, 2005The book “Heaven Is So Real” does not claim to be Scripture. And it is not Scripture. It is a testimony of one who claimed to be taken to heaven. The emphasis of the book is that Heaven is real and Jesus is coming soon. The book should motivate us to get right with God, to obey Him and be prepared of His Second Coming.
- comment left by my hubby.

Finished reading the book Heaven Is So Real last night. The author of the book is Choo Thomas, a Korean-American lady who is currently living in the States. Heaven Is So Real is all about her experience being brought to heaven and hell by Jesus, about her preparation and training by Jesus himself for the ministry that God has planned for her. To me, Heaven Is So Real is a wake up call to all Christians to prepare them for the second coming of Christ. Not all who call themselves Christian will go to heaven. Read “The Parable of the Wedding Banquet” Matt 22. Only those that are pure-hearted and obedient can enter heaven. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” Matt 5:8. In the book, Jesus mentioned that He would be coming sooner than we expected.
This morning, the moment I step in my mom’s house, she asked me “Did you know that there was an earthquake here last night?” Earthquake in Malaysia? The news hit me hard! Jesus is really coming very very soon. On the way to office, I prayed that the Holy Spirit will help and guide me prepare myself for His coming. I do not want to be like the foolish virgin in “The Parable of the Ten Virgins” Matt 25. Then the thought of so many of my loves ones that are not saved made me cry. My tear was mixed with the feeling of fear too. Will I be rapture or will I be left behind to go through the tribulation?

Am not prepared at all …
March 30th, 2005 at 9:12 am
ya. me too. sad ah that so many of us are not prepared
rather than feeling miserable, let’s do something about it. get prepared.
March 30th, 2005 at 10:31 am
i am so not prepared…it’s a good reminder but can’t help but to feel a little sceptical about the book and her testimony though
March 30th, 2005 at 11:51 am
ya, i also feel the same about the book. doubt it a bit. but one thing for sure that the 2nd coming of Christ is soon and we have to live our life as though that He is coming 2moro. (i’m actually telling myself!) remember the girl guides moto “Be Prepared”?
March 30th, 2005 at 5:24 pm
I’m not uhh..prepared. When I was still little, I went to a protestant school and they never gave us such “strict” stuff to read. I didn’t know those kind of things are even in the bible. Tough

aneki > never too late. He is still not here yet.

i’ve read that book. its scare me. the time is really soon, and i know i MUST save my loved one. but how? i don’t know how to tell them. they all laugh at me. they said that heaven isn’t real. i’m desprate, frustrated. because i know the time isn’t much, and if i can’t save them before the time come, they all will burn at eternal fire. hiks…
April 1st, 2005 at 10:12 am
h4h4girl, i’ve read that book too. Agree that Christ is coming soon and would want my loved ones to know Christ too.
But we can’t save our loved ones, we can only tell, share, encourage or plead with them. It is God who does the convincing and convicting. But if they delayed or refused to believe, there’s nothing much we can do. Love them and continue to pray for them as long as it takes. h4h4girl…. if you read this comment please do pray for my loved ones too. Thanks.
April 1st, 2005 at 11:10 pm
yeah…our role is to tell and share…conviction will be from God
April 1st, 2005 at 11:45 pm
dear starhawk : of course i will pray for your loved one. i know sharing is the only thing i can do. but it makes me really sad when they rejecting what i said to them, it hurt me when they laugh at me. some of them even say a horrible thing about our Lord, Jesus christ. it wasn’t what they said to me that hurt me, but the place that i know where they will go that hurt me. i love them! i don’t what it happening to them. but i finish that book today and i’m not afraid anymore, there’s no time for me to be sad or scare, i must share as much as i can. but i’m a shy person, so please help me to pray so i can have the power and confident to share to a lot of people, and even stanger. ^^ God bless you all… (sorry, my english is not very good… hehehe…)
April 2nd, 2005 at 11:06 am
i agree Christ is coming soon.
heard about this book .haven’t read it myself .
here is some review wriiten by others …
Save your money. Read the BIBLE. satan possesses the ability to transform his appearance into that of an angel of light. While Choo Nam may have had multiple encounters with a spirit being, clearly that being was NOT the Lamb of God. Furthermore, it doesn’t sound as though she has ever heard the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, as she keeps promoting the idea that entrance into heaven is contingent upon works. The God of Heaven has NO interest in making human beings “famous”, which is what Choo Nam claims was promised her. This fame is the customary promise of the devil. And lastly, Jesus blood purchased a bride, not children. SAVE YOUR MONEY. If you want to know about heaven, read Betty Malz’ “My Glimpse of Eternity” or “Close Encounters of the God Kind” by Jesse DuPlantis.
Someone passed me a copy and I happened to read the loose message from Choo Thomas to pastors and readers. How she claims that it is God’s end time book and that He wants all to read it, instead of the Bible. This is the first hint at what leads me to believe that all that is written is pure imagination! She claims that God likes to barbecue and eat fish in heaven (pages 96 - 98); I thought that we are spirit in heaven; she even goes to a powder room with Jesus to change their clothes and crowns in heaven - garbage! She talks about male and female angels - Jesus taught us that angels don’t have gender. The only thing that is real is that she shakes violently before she goes into the other realm - just like a spirit medium! It is so subtle - she keeps quoting the Bible, to lend credibility to her story. She teaches that none of our salvations are secure until the end - that we must do our best while we have the time.
She should - we all should read Revelations 22:18-19: “I John solemnly warn everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book; if any add anything to them, God will add to their punishment the plagues described in this book. And if any take anything away from the prophetic words of this book, God will take away from them their share of the fruit of the tree of life and of the Holy City, which are described in this book”
I am curious as to how she started going to heaven at 15, became a christian in 1992 and is a grandmother in 2003!
It makes one wonder about the theology and doctrine of a lot of the leaders who have recommended the book - it exploits christians’ guilibility and desperation to know about heaven and hell, which are real alright. You can read it but don’t believe it!
April 2nd, 2005 at 10:12 pm
fongling : where did you get this article from?? i don’t believe anyword in that article. and the angel things, i think that person who write the article is misread the book or something. because in my understanding of that book is, the angel disguise (this word not exactly showing what i mean, i just can’t find any other english word that fit, my english is not very good) into a man and a woman, and not saying that angel have gender. and about the powder room, why it is garbage? i don’t understand, i think it is ok to have a powder room in heaven. and at the second last paragraph the writer is miread again. because in the book it said that her TRANSFORMATION BODY is look like when she was 15, but she go to heaven at 1996, when she already is a grandmother.
but i also don’t know if the book is written a reality or not. but i’m 100% believe in that book, because that book doesn’t teach anything bad, and i believe if that book isn’t real, God will never let it become an international best seller and make it translate in many language. i’ve seen a proof when somebody use God name to lie, it did NOT end up well.
April 3rd, 2005 at 10:07 am
God allows many things (good/bad). It clearly says in the bible that those who died, died and will not have the opportunity to come back to tell others about what they see…also, when we die, we don’t go straight to heaven, we go to praradise just like lazarus and the rich man did. We only rise up to heaven on the judgement day …i really don’t believe her, though this might sound bias because i haven’t even read her book. But it really doesn’t matter, whether what she wrote has some truth or purely fiction, the fact remains that we need to prepare ourselves and our loved ones for His coming
April 3rd, 2005 at 10:51 am
Wow… there seems to be a controversy here about the book. I would suggest that everyone read the book FIRST. I read the book and I would say that God ministered to me through the book. The purpose of the book is to let us know that heaven is real. And only those who are ready will enter heaven.
Fongling’s “article” mentioned about the issue on how to enter heaven, … “as she keeps promoting the idea that entrance into heaven is contingent upon works.” I don’t find that the book did what the writer of the article suggested.
Yes, it is by faith in Christ that we are saved. But the basic point is that we can enter heaven with a pure heart. The preliminary of having accepted Christ must be done (Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life). Then, one must work one’s own salvation… ie. obeying the commands of Christ. The Bible also said that no adulterers, fornicators, idolaters, or those living a life of witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies….. these people will not inherit the Kingdom of God. - Galatians 5: 19-21. Mind you that these warnings are written for the Christians in Galatia.
As for Jesus’s eating and grilling fish…. that should not be a surprise as that what was Jesus did on earth. Jesus said that He went to heaven to prepare a mansion for us. A mansion should include various rooms and furnitures and decorations, and definitely a place for us to stay. We should not have the narrow mindset that when we are in heaven, we will be worshipping God 24 hours a day forever. This is not written in the Bible but only in the song “Amazing Grace”.
Jesus said that when He comes again, will He finds faith? This is for the Christians… who must not only confessed Jesus is Lord, but also live a life of trusting God.
Read the book first before you read the various articles on the book. Don’t let other people’s thoughts become your thoughts when you have not read the book. As for me, I hope God will minister to you through that book, and any other books for that matter.
April 3rd, 2005 at 11:14 pm
yeah… you go starhawk!!!!! i’m sooooooooo agree with you, wkakakakkakakakak. and i don’t really care if that book is a fiction or a reality, but the most important is, that book change my life. i love Jesus even more, i trying to learn more about the bible, and more other changes in my life. that book really change my life. and its not only my life, but also all my friends and family’s life who read it. so i think, you guys must read it too, its a very good book. even if you don’t believe it, just try to read it once first. hehhehe… GBU!! ^^

Is there such thing as “disobedient Christian” that will spent their eternity on a barren land?
Such Theology is a sign of lack of understanding of the Bible.
April 9th, 2005 at 10:30 pm
Remember the words of Jesus, when He said in Matt 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
April 10th, 2005 at 8:38 pm
But that what Choo Thomas mentioned she saw in heaven,’Disobedient’ Christian who will spent their eternity in a barren land. This is a contradiction to Scripture. There is no such classes of True Believer.
Either Thomas were having illusion or she was misled by some angel of light.

April 11th, 2005 at 6:51 am
There are only believer and unbelievers. And there are only heaven and hell. No such middle place meant for disobedient Christian!
April 11th, 2005 at 3:37 pm
Palary.. can you find the verses in Scripture that directly contradicts the barren land? What we know about heaven and hell from Scripture is so little, which is enough for our faith. Some are given more but are not allowed by God to write it in the Bible. Refer to Daniel and even Paul.
I think we may be too carried away with this issue. The book “Heaven Is So Real” does not claim to be Scripture. And it is not Scripture. It is a testimony of one who claimed to be taken to heaven. The emphasis of the book is that Heaven is real and Jesus is coming soon. The book should motivate us to get right with God, to obey Him and be prepared of His Second Coming. It is no point to argue whether the book is right or wrong if we do not even try to obey God.

2 Cor 12:2-4
“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know - God knows. And I know that this man - whether in the body or apart from the body, but God knows - was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell.”
April 12th, 2005 at 9:31 pm
read Mary Baxter’s book “A Divine Revelation of Hell” .
Also incredible to comprehend.
But our limited minds cannot comprehend such things, which, can only be accepted in faith.
It does not change my faith to believe in something else other than the Jesus I know in scriptures, it just means that the spirit realm is beyond our full comprehension, quality and quantity.
Another verse/s to show that at disciples’ time, this was new…
Frm Amplified Ver.
1DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
2In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
3And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
April 12th, 2005 at 9:33 pm
interesting that these two women of God recvd it around the same time…
all within past ten or so yrs..
One heaven, One hell.
April 13th, 2005 at 11:34 am
Yeah… and Mary Baxter also has written the Divine Revelation of Heaven.
Check out the book.
April 14th, 2005 at 9:46 am
If I’m not mistaken, Baxter went to heaven in 1976. Choo in 1996.
Hmm…I wonder whether the Lord will take us all there in 2016???
April 14th, 2005 at 2:09 pm
I am halfway reading the book and although I am a little bit skeptical about her experiences but I know she is not seeking personal fame and glory. It has certainly awaken me as a christian. Never take our salvation lightly, eventhough we are saved by grace not work. Whether she is telling the truth or not, we will know when the End is really here!
April 17th, 2005 at 6:30 am
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”
Colossians 1:12
Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemtion, the forgiveness of sins.
April 18th, 2005 at 5:01 pm
I must say that alot written here is Biblical and correct but there are a lot of questions.
When i was young i try to be a medium and i was asked to stand a certain way to wait for the spirit to come. when it does the common manifestation is shaking - same with those during Thaipusam - an indian festivals - the nine emperor god festival - etc. i check the bible and the original word for shaking is - use as one tremble in fear before the Almighty God.
I just cannot comprehend how is it one can be in the presence of God and be so physical and ‘pally’ with the Almighty.
Jesus taught her to always praise the Father then pray in tounges…
Jesus already taught us the pattern of prayer - but in Matthew He never mention speaking in tounges… by the way i do speak in tounges. Paul teach that it is better to pray with audible words.
Talking about going to heaven and seeing hell - the bible says there will be a new heaven and a new earth - so what heaven is Choo seeing now? Are non-Christians already in Hell? They are not even judge yet - why are we judging them and condemn them to hell now? Yes one day they will all be standing befor the Great White Throne.
I read the book with lots of questions - if God is the one behind the book - why is He doing something so different from those He inspired to write the Holy Bible? Choo claiming that she have to write exactly what she see and heard - what is she trying to tell us? - Don’t You Dare Question What Is Written? Is there going to be new revelations???
There are so much repetitions again and again - to me this is just to give lenght to the book and alot of cliams - like Jesus telling her - to put her picture on the cover, how the cover of the book should be is just ways to rationalise what the book.
Many of us have honestly seek the Lord and wanting to have a glimes of Him - is God so bias and count us so unworthy children that He choose this sweetheart???
I read this book in two days but I take 2 years trying to read through my Bible - Surely Satan is not tempting me and making me sleep to read such sensationalise stories.
Let’s go back to basics - Live a Purpose Driven Life of Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Service and Mission - Read your Bible more.
Maranatha - Come Lord Jesus!!!

Just to let you know that I have had a been a christian for may years. And this book has really challenged me to have a moment by moment relationship with the lord. I have had many email interactions with Choo Nan and I find her to be a humble servent of God. I admit that I have struggled with the people wandering just outside of heaven.
Please read 1 Corinthians 3:15 very carefully.
Also, Matthew 7:15
Mat 7:15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
Mat 7:16 “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn {bushes} nor figs from thistles, are they?
Mat 7:17 “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
Mat 7:18 “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
Mat 7:19 “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 7:20 “So then, you will know them by their fruits.
Mat 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven {will enter.}
Mat 7:22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
Mat 7:23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
So I say, we will know if Choo Nan is real or not by her Fruits.
My interaction with her has shown me that she is deeply in love with Jesus and has a passion for the lost. She believes in the the gospel and that what she is preaching.
As I have studied more, I find Jesus saying things like
The way is narrow.
Those that do the work of God will be saved
The story of the seed on a path clearly tells of some that will accept the word of god, and fall away due to the love of the world.
Choo Nan’s message from Jesus says “Hey, wake up! You can’t love the world and me at the same time. Serve Jesus before it is to late”
1Th 5:20 do not despise prophetic utterances.
1Th 5:21 But examine everything {carefully;} hold fast to that which is good;
As far as Choo Nan telling about how Christ said he would bless her, well, lets remember Solomon, or David, or may other characters in the Bible who had great wealth and blessing. It was not their choice, but Gods.
All I can say is that this book has made me walk closer to Jesus and have a real hear for the lost. I now look at people as a soul. There was nothing that she is saying that is not biblical in my opinion. To accept Christ and continue in sin showes that the conversion may be in question I think. We will be known by our fruits.
God Bless you all.

I found this really good essay on false profits.
http://www.acts17-11.com/dialogs_prophecy_testing.html
Basically, a biblical view of a profit is
1. 100% right, not exceptions
2. They will be fruit bearers (love, peace, joy, patients, kindness and self control)
3. They will convict of sin, and call to repent.
4. They will point you towords Salvation in the lord
5. They will welcome being tested
April 27th, 2005 at 11:50 am
Hi Bob… that’s a good reference on prophecy. But what’s the “biblical view of PROFIT”?
April 27th, 2005 at 1:40 pm
Starhawk
Good one. Just a silly engineer with a spelling problem!

May 3rd, 2005 at 11:15 pm
…hmmm….I could easily cough up a story and make millions out of it. When people cannot differentiate whether if it is true or false…
People, the Bible is the yardstick to measure against all falsehood, error and lies. Whether it is of the HS or from the devil, God written word is the foundation to judge.
If “feel good” is the basis of determine what is Good. No matter if it is true or false, then we are a sorry people. There are thousands of books out there that makes u feel good about your image yet it doesn’t come close to the Bible in Truth.
May 7th, 2005 at 12:21 am
Mark 13;5 “See to it that no one misleads you. Many will come in my name saying, `I am the Christ!’ and will mislead many. Matthew 24:23, Then if anyone says to you , `Behold , here is the Christ’ or There he is, Do not believe him. ……….Read on, this is a warning! However, There are many truths in the book and Choos heart certainly seems right before God. But we must always remember to allow The Holy Spirit to change us though. We can’t make ourselves right with God through works “lest any man should boast”. I just fear some may read this book and Try too hard and give up. Only God can change us through a willing heart. So even though I have trouble with the fact that this is Jesus, because of what the word of God says above, I’m sure he”ll use it for his purpose.
May 11th, 2005 at 2:24 pm
I read Heaven is real and find no fault in it. I like to add on disobedient christian.. there are christian who still continue to live in a sinful way, e.g. not tithing, still go on to do thing which is not holy be it in thought, deed or words. There are also christian who put up such a good front, but their heart only God Knows. Whoever is the disobedient christian that Choo Nam Thomas saw in Heaven, not being judge yet because it is not judgement time yet.
May 12th, 2005 at 7:47 pm
I read ‘Heaven is so real’ on last year.
It gave inculcation to me really, and changed mind.
Was developed more in faith ago him.
After read this book, repented, and I wanted to pass near with ‘Jesus christ’.

There are some very good points in this book that I totally believe in. She emphasizes over and over that only the pure in heart will enter. This is PLAINLY the teaching of the bible, for blessed are the PURE in heart for THEY shall see God. Without holiness NO ONE will see the Lord! Some other things are questionable, but better to be safe than sorry,God is indeed in this modern ungodly church age telling His people it’s time to REPENT (which means to turn from our sin,and lukewarmness, and especially today’s church worldliness!). Wake up people of God,it’s time to get on fire and stay on fire,or else we will definately be thrown in the fire in the end! God bless, and wake up church!
January 23rd, 2006 at 5:34 am
I finished reading this book last night. In fact, there were numerous times I wanted to put it down and/or bin it. Wake up guys! This is exactly how the devil works - you know, the poison mixed in with the truth to give it some credibility. There were so many things that just were not right.
Pray to Jesus that He will give you discernment. Remember that in the last days deception is one of the signs (Matthew 24:24).
February 5th, 2006 at 9:45 pm
The Lord is preparing something for all the people believe me, He is, He will. lets continue to pray and continue to become holy, God is the same yesterday today and forever… what choo experienced, we already experience and theres a lot more He is teaching something to us…….Philippines is a blessed country that’s all i can say.
February 12th, 2006 at 6:18 pm
Hey Guys,
I think that both christians and non-christians should read this book. I’ve just finished reading it and was really challenged to change my ways of being a luke-warm christian. I was very challenged to spend more time with God on a deeper level. I believe that God is going to bring many people to him through this book, and i can’t wait to give this book to some of my family and friends.
God Bless Guys…
February 14th, 2006 at 10:44 pm
My wife was reading this book. I felt to look it over after she mentioned a few things in it. 1 John 4:1 tells us, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” I told my wife after I reviewed the book that if we are to take Choo Thomas’s word that this book is really written by Jesus, thru her, then we can then glue it to the back of our Holy Bible and make another book of our Holy Scriptures. Satan will appear as an angel of light and impersonate the real Christ Jesus to receive glory due to the real Christ Jesus.
The Jesus Choo Thomas is referring to in this book is an imposter -Satan himself! Why did Jesus not have his Apostle John to write about heaven like this in the book of Revelation? Christians are now supposed to believe that God has raised Choo Thomas up as he did his own Apostle’s? I guess Jesus did not accomplish everything he needed to do with them! This is dangerous and leaves a Christian open to be swayed by any false prophesy and teaching just because they say it is from God!
Choo believes this encounter is from Jesus because the spirit that spoke to her said he was Jesus -I am not President Bush or anyone else because I say I am! Satan or any demon is not Christ Jesus just because they say they are. Satan would be glad to take the Glory of this even under the name of the real Jesus! How can Choo give such a detailed description of heaven and angels? Because Satan and his demons where there and they saw first hand, heaven and the angels. Choo is taken into a hypnotic trance-like state and this enables demonic influence to communicate to her mind through images of heaven and angels as they know them to really be -since they have been there before they were kicked out! Thats how! Satan is an angel of light because he knows how to imitate the real light! Satan is a master deceiver. I know it all sounds good and people today are itching for a sign and revelation from God. Because of this itching some will fall for the most incredible deceptions. Choo herself has fallen for this great deception. I know it sounds right because she points to Jesus. Does Satan care if people point to Jesus if it is actually him behind the mask. No! He doesn’t care. If anyone comes to Christ from her book -then they came to the wrong Christ. The Christ people should come to is the Christ of the Holy Bible -Not Choo Thomas’s revelation from a false spirit god! This is why we are warned to “try the spirits” -how do we “try the spirits”? We line up what the spirit is saying against God’s Word.
Does God’s Word give an indication that even on the day of Pentecost that people were jerking and miracle dancing in some sort of ritual? No it does not! God will not imitate Satanic rituals! But Satan will try to imitate God with adding his demonic rituals in with it. This gives it a good sugar coating to intice poeple to believe it is of God. We can no more listen to the revelation of Choo Thomas over Joseph Smith of the Mormans. The teaching of Joseph Smith sounds good on the surface -So does the revelation of Choo Thomas! Her talent, or Satan’s talent, for adding God’s Holy Word to her revelation is very enticing for many Christian believers awaiting a new revelation from God.
Choo says that since 1996 that every waking hour is spent with Jesus. She says that her husband has been so understanding or their marriage would not have made it -is this God’s intention according to His Word? To take a married woman and seperate her unto Himself! Show a scripture for that! And while you would be looking for a scripture for that look up one that would allow her to overtake the platform of her church despite what the pastor would have to say about it! Also, why did Jesus not tell her His real birthday date? Rather than telling her on Christmas eve that it was his birthday! Does not Jesus realize that Christmas eve is not his real birthday? Why does Jesus not emphasize the resurrection day? The biggest day of the Bible! Are aborted babies really stored naked, side by side, in a warehouse building awaiting their saved mothers to come to heaven and raise them? This is about as hoky as it gets!
I know many will say, “who is he to come against a beautiful sister in Christ”. First I am not coming against a beautiful sister in Christ -only against the false doctrine of her book! Trying (testing) the spirits to see whether they are of God (1 John 4:1) shows a clear picture that her “hypnotic trance vision journey” is far from truth. This is not anything less than a Anti-Christ Satanic spirit passing himself off as Jesus to Choo Thomas and anyone else willing to be lead astray from the truth of God’s Word by this so called new revelation from an imposter Jesus. I may only be a voice crying out in the wilderness of cyber world -but so be it! Amen and Amen!

Entrance to heaven is never by works but by the grace of God and the grace of God ONLY

Thank you Barry McGarrh and also Anon. I thought I was the only one who felt something was wrong with this book. Pray for my Bible study that is reading this. I was one out of sixteen that didn’t agree with it. Also, Anon, I saw that grace was missing. God is so good to us.
March 13th, 2006 at 9:17 pm
I was really excited about the book in the very start, overwhelmed by her experience with Jesus!
But thank God!!! This book made me feel uncomfortable and when I have read 60 pages or so I decided to stop!!!
Jesus said she was pure in heart and her faith and obedience and perseverance pleased HIM “a lot” ! And that made me feel bad about myself. well I don’t care! I don’t wanna read it any more!
She said there is a powder room in the house which Jesus’ prepared for her in heaven! You know what to me it sounds really absurd! Do we need to do the make-up in heaven!!!???
And she said she saw some men and women there,
to which Jesus said in the Bible when we go to heaven we all become angels!
And I just can’t believe that Jesus would have visited her THAT FREQUENTLY!!!!
Excuse me but I can’t accept!
Although some messages she conveyed in the book were positive
but I remember somebody once told me and I believer what he said
—-there will be NO GREATER REVELATION THAN THE BIBLE BEFORE Jesus omes back again!

Barry McGarrh, God told Choo that he would raise up a church THROUGH her, therefore there would not be any ‘pastor’. Jesus is the true shepherd of his church, and we are his sheep.
I am not saying that she is 100% correct, i do not know, but the Holy Spirit in us is a witness to all things. We cannot rely on our flesh, because Jesus says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17:9)
We MUST trust the Holy Spirit, as Jesus also talks about the antichrist that is to come; “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matt 24:24)
It’s true that we enter heaven by grace, not works. But did God Almighty create a people that give their lives to him, and still live in the ways of the world? — In Matt 6:24, it says: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” A child of God cannot have the lusts and sin of this world, while being in fellowship with God.
Also, when people dance and sing before the Lord, it is NOT satanic rituals. I know there are people who just make it up, but true joy will come when we come humbly before Him.
Jesus is not taking Choo away from her husband, he is just omnipresent, and with her wherever she goes, and that is what is meant by she spends all of her time with Him. If we follow Him, he promised that to us: “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt 28:20b)
AND
John 14:16 - “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever”
John 14:26 - “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
- What do you make of Choo saying that she was filled with Joy? (Satan cannot give good, he is the father of evil)
- What evidence do you have that Jesus did not manifest Himself to her and show her revelations of things to come? It says in Eph 1:17, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him”
God is desiring to do many mighty thinghs in us0, and most things he would have done in us cannot be done due to the hardness of our hearts toward Him. That is why he chooses some people more than others, because they are willing for Him to work in them, and use them for His glory.
As a few people have stated already, 1 John 4:1 states: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
We must be ready for His return!!

I’ve read the book and I must say that the book inspired me to live a godly life. As much as we must “test the spirit”, we also need to examine our hearts before God.
Choo does not claim that the book is on par with the Scripture. The book is not infallible, and must not be treated as Scripture. But through her experience, we can learn a lot from it. It should cause us to desire to be close with God, to have that intimate relationship with God.
March 16th, 2006 at 5:39 am
I would suggest that Choo Thomas is either deceived or has deliberately researched the longings of true believers and played on them in order to make lots of sales. Apart from many other things, to suggest that Jesus instructs people to buy the book sends alarm bells. Gullible Christians who genuinely want to obey Jesus are left with no option but to make Choo Thomas richer by buying the book. She makes predictions about when Jesus will come, as have so many other false prophets over the years. The non fulfilment of these prophecies will be a good indicator of he credentials.
Having said that, God is sovereign, and there may be some people who are initially motivated by this book to be more devoted to Christ. But they would then need to do some unlearning to move on in that devotion.
March 16th, 2006 at 6:13 pm
I agree with you,Bertie!
It’s of course for God to judge!
Good things, bad things, God uses them!
EVERYTHING works out for good for those who love God!

I saw her video, she has to sway back and forth or her stomach clenches. She says it’s from the Holy Spirit. She also says this is Jesus’ book for the end times. He tells her this many times in the book. I am wondering if the people who believe what she says have REALLY read the Whole book.
All the screaming and fear and pain and body work! It does not sound like Jesus to me. What is the vision voice? Scary. Please comment, thanks. Lisa
March 20th, 2006 at 5:06 pm
Lisa, I think I can tell you Jesus does not deal with people that way!!!
I have’t read the whole book because it’s NOT AT ALL worth reading!
I can’t say she’s evil but just misguided.
Leave it alone! When you read religious books ask Father God for discernment and bring your intelligence with you and be critical of what you read.
Devotional books such as this one are full of nonsense.

Thanks Nicole, I think she is misguided also. I do need to let it alone, it has bothered me so much. I was reading Luke ch. 12 last night, what a wonderful Jesus we have. Luke 12:15 Jesus says “take head and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” Our life is so much more with God our Father. Thanks again, you helped me, Lisa
March 22nd, 2006 at 4:24 pm
I actually read the book and believed everything choo nam has experienced with the Lord Jesus. The bible tells us: “God blesses those whose hearts are pure for they see God” - matthew 5:8
Brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus said: Love one another as i loved you.
Be grateful with choo nam warning message. Truly it is our Lord Jesus speaking on her.
You’d better watch out
You’d better be ready
You’d better be good
Im tellin you now
Jesus Christ is coming to earth
God bless you all.

Just a first note: She did NOT even mention the beasts nor the twenty four elders ………Seated at the right hand of the glory of God the Father is Christ Jesus, God’s one and only son. Surrounding God’s throne are twenty-four other thrones, and seated upon them, are twenty-four elders. Before the throne of God seven lamps blaze representing God the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 11:2), and also before the throne of God, there is what looks like a sea of glass as clear as crystal. Around the throne of God, four living creatures (angels) and the twenty four elders never stop praising God. Each has a harp and they hold bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints. Also around the throne, angels numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand praise and worship God the Father and Christ Jesus His one and only son. Also before the throne of God, the redeemed of earth serve God day and night in His temple. (Revelation 4:2-15)

Never the less……. It made me take stock…. am I ready ? A hoax or no Heaven and hell are very real and the rapture is very close
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:00 pm
Dear Lisa, so happy that I’ve been a little help to you!
you know when I read this book I felt very uncomfortable
and even felt more and more distant from the Lord!
yeah, she quoted quite a lot of the Bible but…just watch out!
we need the Bible NOT her book!
If God wants us to see the heaven thar clearly
HE would have revealed that to John in Revelation!
Thank God for everything! HE is our Keeper!
March 24th, 2006 at 11:59 am
Nicole, I felt the same way. I couldn’t find the Jesus in the bible I know and love. I read and study the bible almost every day. What a wonderful God we have that knows the real longings in our life, the Spirit of Jesus in us! Our comforter, the great I AM, The Lamb of God, how we love Him and with His grace we are saved.
” If you confess with your mouth the lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:19
The Lord will teach us how to obey Him, we are always fighting against our flesh. He is our Helper. We try to have a pure heart, the blood of Jesus covers us. I love the Lord and brothers and sisters in the Lord. I know you do,too! I am letting it go like you said. I discerned early that the book was wrong but kept reading, I know better now. The Holy Spirit gives us this discernment. The Bible is the book to read! I am going to read Galtians tonight, I haven’t read that in a while. I am happy to learn again from the Living Word of God.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, Romans 8:16 A sister in Christ, Lisa
March 24th, 2006 at 1:47 pm
Yeah, Lisa, I agree!
Reading her book just made me more and more confused!
Jesus—the Lord I seek and love will not deal with people
that way!!! This book is just her dream and NOTHING more!
The Holy Bible is indeed what we need!!!
we don’t deserve it! but it is God’s grace!
so..grace is grace! even we don’t deserve it God still gave it us!
We don’t deserve Jesus to die on the Cross for us;
we don’t deserve Jesus to shed HIS last drop of blood for us
but HIS did! That is God’s grace! (undeserved favor!)
God does not need us but HE chose us to be in a realtionship
with HIM! Just think about that for a minute, the Creator of heaven
and earth, the Lord of lords the King of kings the KING of glory is
—our FATHER!
Let’s give God a big praise!
Love, Nicole

I think we need to be very careful about saying that someone is being guided by the devil. Remember the Pharisees said the same thing about Jesus because he was saying and doing things that did not line up with their theology, and they were the Bible experts of their day. Why would satan write a book that motivates people to worship God and live holy and pure lives. There was nothing in this book that would lead people to sin which is what satans motive is. Just because we don’t feel comfortable about everything that she said or did does not mean that she is of the devil. We do need to watch out for false prophets but that doesn’t mean that none of them are true prophets. Ezekiel had to lie on his side naked and eat human dung. If Choo Nam had to do that would we declare that she is a false prophet because God would not have someone do something as strange as that (as if we know everying that God would or would not do). I did read the entire book and was very stirred inside to follow God with all my heart. A book from a false prophet would not have had that effect on me. If satan wrote this book to try to deceive me then it backfired on him. What exactly would he be trying to deceive me of, to live a pure life in devotion to God. Yes, we are saved by grace, but grace gives us the power to live in victory over sin. If we do not, by faith, overcome sin (working out our salvation) then our faith is dead. Wake up people, the false prophets are the ones who use the letter of the word to fight against the Spirit of God.
March 31st, 2006 at 4:13 pm
Thanks Kirk! I totally agree with what you said. i read the book and was really inspired, but alot of people keep coming against it. I pray that God will give us all dicernment to know what is of Him and what is not.
April 1st, 2006 at 3:02 am
Kirk, I understand your point completly but I agree with Barry McGarrh. The most important thing is we all believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Maybe we all who love each other and the Lord should move along to some great truth in the Bible. Some of us believe Choo’s book and some of us don’t, but praise God we all believe the Bible! We all have a heart for God. I am happy to meet all of you. Any good ideas of a new subject in the Bible or a book in the Bible we can all read and discuss? A sister in Christ, Lisa
April 6th, 2006 at 11:28 am
I am agree partly with what kirk hav said. Partly i disagree as we musnt forget, all things started good in the beggining may rots in the end as well. There is always a possibility. Do not forget this could be a disguise. The mormon church started well too. Lucifer was an archangel isnt ?, he was good in the first place.
But the contents is like more to the human imagination. I havent read the book, but I have heard about aborted babies and other issues in ppl reviews which are mentioned in her book.
A fig doesnt come from thistle. What we sow, we reap. The fruits doesnt come in one day. Remember what happen to “Children of the God” ministry ? It started well, so many ppl joined. and what happen to it now ? Slowly the fruit are revealed. Just becareful with what we read. Not everything we read pleasant will produced a good fruit in our life.
From what I have read from other ppl positive reviews, the book is just too good, too straight forward. Its too heavenly. Our motive being a christian is to learn the truth. Not just about going to Heaven. Do not be clouded by that desire.
April 6th, 2006 at 11:43 am
Too add up something i read recently, I have heard in the 1970-1980s, there is a book/article about heaven as well, Heavenly Hash, by Mary Baxter, which she claimed she was taken to heaven and to hell.
There are ppl who say that this book seems to contradicts Thomas’s book. I try to find the former article, but couldnt find.

WOW! the book is fantastic! only those who are sceptic about spiritual things will not believe it Mrs. Choo Nam, i realyy appreciate the book and i believe every word of it. i wish Jesus will visit me just like that. i pray that you will continually be a channel of blessing to this world. pleas reply me.
April 23rd, 2006 at 10:09 pm
Nowhere in the book did the entity identify himself as Jesus, Choo just took it for granted that he was Jesus, as Barry says it could have been Satan himself. She still has a lot to learn ….
Bye
April 26th, 2006 at 8:13 pm
I have read the book, and for the first time in my life i found my Lord Jesus. I realised that he is always finding ways to save us. He wants us all to go to heaven with him. This book has save me and my family.
I am not surprise that many people will reject this book, this is so because they fear the real truth. But many more will be saved by reading this book. This book tell us the whole truth, nothing but the real truth.
Open your heart to Our Lord Jesus and you will see the truth. Praise our Lord Jesus for he is our saviour.Alleluia.
April 30th, 2006 at 11:53 pm
I read the book and at first was inspired by what Choo Nam saw in Heaven. Like most people here, I believe that, whether what she experienced was all that she says or not, it has caused me to be more focused on souls and walk closer to God. About 3/4 the way through, some things she experienced didn’t sit right with me and I too felt uncomfortable.
I read Galatians 3: 2 - 6 last night and it encouraged me. We are saved by faith. We should work on our relationship with God but also as someone already mentioned, we are human and we fight against our flesh but if our heart is towards God and our desire is to follow Him, we have accepted Jesus and Lord and saviour, we will be saved.

Seems like a fabrication to me. I do admire her prayer life, but think she is craving attention in the wrong way. It doesn’t seem right that her body is transformed young and beautiful but poor Abraham that gave it all up to live a nomadic life was dealt an old gray body. She also wants the readers to know over and over that she is very special and has been given the last golden key. (Whatever that is) Good idea to make some money off Christians though. I’d stick to the Bible and leave the extra biblical stuff alone.

Hi,
At the end of the day, Jesus is coming. So we must prepare ourselves. There is a fantastic program called Deeper Life Seminar in PJ. It follows the scripture 100%. Teaches us how to pray and how to operate using the Holy Spirit. To rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit. There are 3 levels of classes to complete. One of the best things I have done to prepare myself for the second coming. It has changed the way I worship. It is such a blessing to attend these classes. Call the RLC-79572887. Visit their website http://www.lifeline-intl.org. Do something!People from all walks of life and all ages attend this classes. You will never be the same again.

Hi everyone, i finally read the book, it contradicts the bible. I dun understand why u all cant see it. The book starts well, but in the end part, u should be able to notice certain things that contradicts.
1. Jesus told her to be end time prophetess. And this is a revelation to be given to her so she can share it to the world. If you notice, she keep insisting we read the Gospel. I wonder which gospel she mean. her’s gospel or the bible’s gospel. Remember Prophet Joseph from the mormons ? His gospel is the Book of Mormons. Dun forget this is teh end times. Alot of this prophets will appear and share the good news.
2. Jesus told her that the he is very happy to celebrate his birthday on the 25th December. Pls do a research on Jesus birthday. I really doubt that is Yeshua. I just cant believed those readers can buy into that. Pls be more stronger in the scriptures. IS like u all like to read such books more than the bible.
3. Remember the rich man and the poor man, Lazarus ? what did the parable say ? Even sermons by Spurgeon regarding about going heaven or hell is clearly said that it is a bridgeless gulf. Spurgeon said clearly “THERE IS NO PASSAGE FROM HELL TO HEAVEN”. Pls check who is spurgeon. He is a famous pastor i the olden times but if u see, she could go to heaven and hell anytime when her Yeshua want her. Read Luke 16:26. If you believe she can go to hell, then u cant believe the bible cause it contradicts the bible.
The rich man ask Abraham to give him a chance to return to the world to share with others what he has seen. Was he allowed ? So whose share the story ? Sigh.
4. There are other misc teachings inside the book. God say we have free will. Remember Job ? He has the freewill to comdemned or curse God but he didnt. God gave us the freewill but in the end chapter, her Yeshua keep on asking the reader to let him to control us. Sounds like a mind control. and she seems to promote her chuch, the church of All nation of somehting like that.
Everyone like to go to heaven, but u arent there yet. The books seeems to encourage we to have a goal, which is heaven accession but is the method taught correct ? I feel its like a test by the God to test our knowledge in the bible.
Pls discern the contents. Do not forget, we still hav to be judged.

What Day Was Jesus Really Born On?
No one knows for sure what month, not to mention which day, that Jesus was born on. Various theories have been raised that put Jesus’ birth in April, October, and September. But no one knows for sure.
Additionally, our calendar is inaccurate. It set about 4 years too late. This is known by comparing the biblical accounts of gospels and the extrabiblical records known about Quirinius, the governor of Syria (Luke 2:2) and Herod the Great (Matt. 2:19) who died in 4 B.C. in the year of Jesus’ birth. Humorously, that would make Jesus, born in 4 B.C.

I recently purchased “Heaven is So Real†by Choo Nam. This book left me extremely uneasy. Even though I know the Word well, I still found myself discouraged and even questioning my salvation and relationship with Jesus. It impacted me and others around me in a very negative, almost give up kind of way. I decided to set myself to look directly at some of the most glaring issues that were so troubling.
While it may seem difficult to discern whether or not someone has actually “seen heaven” we must still “test the spirits” and search the scripture. I went through the book a second time writing out her quotes that she claims that Jesus actually said and placed them against scripture and history. I also looked at things she states, that really if you think about them, don’t make any sense. I have broken down her most disturbing quotes and have responded with scripture. Here are direct quotes along with the page numbers matched up against the Word:
“Without prophets. I would not have any way of communicating my desire to my children.†(Choo quoting Jesus, Pg 102)
Jn 10:27-28 says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me’ and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.†NASB
The Lord can also speak to us in visions and dreams. We are not limited to prophets! We should all grow from baby ewes into sheep and learn to recognize His voice.
“Many of My children, however, do not pray sincerely or long enough. If they do not have patience, they cannot receive a blessing.†(Choo quoting Jesus, Pg 129)
Mat 6:7-8 says, “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition, as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him.†NASB
“Jesus made it very clear to me that this is what He wants each of us to be like-to have the faith of a little child. He wants us to walk according to His word, to totally believe Him and to look forward to the reality of heaven. Those who do not, He pointed out to me several times, will be on the edges of heaven but never truly able to enter the joy of the Lord.†(Quoting Choo, Pg 133)
John 14:1-3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.†NASB
Here are very troubling quotes:
“During these marvelous visits, the Lord speaks directly and personally to me. Then He begins the preparatory work in my body. When this happens, I have no control over my body for a period of two to four hours. The Lord is with me the entire time. Often He talks with me while my body is shaking violently…….When these evening sessions first began, I could see the faces of demons all over the room. Though they were gross and intimidating, I did not fear them. I would see them flying behind the Lord’s head, but when I rebuked them, they instantly departed.†(Quoting Choo, Pg 158)
Are you telling me that when the Lord of Glory shows up that He is surrounded by demons? I don’t think so! How can the demons be intimidating when they fear God and tremble in his presence? And if they were there, why didn’t the Lord rebuke them? And what kind of “preparatory work†is happening here? Did you ever hear in scripture of this kind of work?
It is very interesting to note that when “he†shows up for her first visitation, he just says, “Choo Nam, I am your Lord.†He does not say to her, I am Jesus, the Christ. Only once did she mention being able to see his hands. She states that she cannot see his face, it is a bright light. We must tread carefully here. Satan appears as an “Angel of Light†and we must be careful regarding definition of the word “Lord.†I don’t know about you, but if any spirit showed up claiming to be the Lord, I would ask to see his scars and my experience better line up with the word.
“On several different nights the Lord poured oil upon me. This precious oil was in oval vessels that looked like small perfume bottles. The bottles were of many different colors. He would pour the oil upon me from head to toe, and on my back as well. I kept track of this special experience in my journal, and I have found that He has poured a total of eighty-five bottles of anointing oil upon me. All of the bottles He used had caps on them except the last one.†(Quoting Choo, Pg 160)
When Samuel anointed David, “the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward.†(1 Sam 16:13). Why would she need to be anointed 85 times when the Lord of Glory has only need to have his prophet do it once?
“After ten days of rest, the Lord began to work on my body in many different ways. It was as if He were unlocking the potential with my body. For example, He would raise my body from a prone to a sitting position, and He would cause me to get off the bed and stand on the floor…….All of this unusual body-work would cause me to feel very tired, because He would cause my body to rise and kneel before him in intervals of seven, over and over again. I would cry the entire time this was going on…..At times I was so tired I could barely stand again. His preparatory work that took place lying down was so much easier. Many different nights I would be required to stand for two hours, and each aspect of this body-work, involving every part of my body, would be repeated seven times. Thirty-three different times He “unlocked†the various parts of my body that needed His work of preparation….. Each time the Lord pours the anointing oil on me or unlocks the locks of my body, my physical being responds with violent shaking, jerking, intense heat, groans and supernatural power that causes my body to be lifted up…. When these things happen, my voice takes on a quality of fright, and I become breathless. Before these things occur, the unusual spiritual voice comes forth from deep within me.†(Quoting Choo, Pg 165-166
33 times he had to “unlock†her various parts? What is happening here? This is scary! The Lord told her on page 16, “You have a special heart, and that is why I answer your prayers, I notice that your heart is pure, and you are an obedient daughter. I trust you with many things. This is why I have chosen you to do this important work.â€
If her heart is “pure†and she is “obedientâ€, then why would she need to go through days of agonizing bizarre preparatory work? The Lord didn’t put his disciples or Paul through this.
“When the Lord visits me He usually wears a white robe, but on the Christmas Eves of 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 He wore a beautiful robe and crown…… “Lord, why are You wearing such a beautiful gown and crown?†I asked. “Daughter, it is My birthday,†He responded with a smile…….I am celebrating, my daughter.†On 12/24/01 he said, “You are the best celebration for My birthday and New Year’s Day, and I love you, sweetheart, so be happy.†Quotes from Pg 163)
Why would the Lord of Glory, come to her on this day since his birthday (as most Bible scholars admit) is not on Dec 25. It’s origin lies in a pagan celebration called Saturnalia. It is the birthday of Tammuz, the reincarnated sun-god. Constantine, in order to get a political hold of his kingdom, sought to combine this pagan worship with Christianity. The birthday of Tammuz became the birthday of Jesus. I encourage you to research early church history. My point is that Jesus was not born Christmas day and He is not a man that he should lie! Also, why would the Lord of Glory (who has wonderful saints all over the world not to mention in heaven) find her to be the “best celebration?â€
Many scholars believe Jesus to have been born on the 1st day of Tabernacles which would have been in the month of September. And it makes sense that He would come on one of the Feasts of the Lord, especially to “tabernacle†with us! Check out one interesting opinion at: http://users.aristotle.net/~bhuie/birthday.htm
Remember the Lord said to his disciples, “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Fathers kingdom.” This is the true celebration!
Final thoughts: For a book that is supposed to reveal heaven, I found the majority of the book to be about her journey with God and much of it revolves around her physical manifestations. I feel that this book elevates and glorifies her. The summaries of heaven are very brief, nothing more than what you or I could guess at. I believe that if her experience were real that her story of heaven would have lined up more with the books that I list below. Jesus tells her, “everyone will know you (pg 75)†and “My daughter, you are an End-time prophetess….and you are living proof of My word, and My prophecies….You are ordained by your Lord…..You are a perfectly made vessel…..the world is yours.†(See page 168)
So, I am left wondering: Did God remove his blessing from the “Puget Sound Christian Center†because the Pastor rebuked her dance? Did she get her white-frame 2 story house with the white fence with the spectacular rock garden and shiny red car that the Lord told her, “will be yours†(pg 135). And what is she doing today with all of this anointing? Be assured that the greatest saints that lived never had to go through this kind of stuff to be used by God!
Beloved, he loves you right now, where you are and He wants to walk alongside you. The most significant experience we can have with the Lord is not manifestations in the body…..it’s in the soul….it’s in the heart.
If you want to read books that encourage you regarding heaven, here are some fun ones:

Hey Lisa, “The Ezekiel Option” is a great fiction book about the end times that follows Scriptures pretty close if you believe in a pre trib rapture. Even if you don’t, the God and Magog event in Ezekiel 38, 39 are pretty well explained. It is a great read and although it is fiction, it is one that gets your attention on the coming of our Lord Jesus. The book gives the plan of salvation about three times in it and it is written by a converted Jew. I would love to hear what others thought about it.

Rev 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. (NKJ)
Will the real Jesus stand up? My, what is that on your head Jesus? Crowns!!! Plural!! Look, the real Jesus has many crowns, not a single crown. Let’s see, who had the single crown weaer is in Scripture?
Rev 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
The identity of the first horse will in large part be determined by the identification of the following three. The second horse and its rider are said to take peace from the earth, and this, with the words slay and sword, indicates war. The third horse and its rider surely represent scarcity of food, though not altogether a famine. (The Roman coin [denarius], here translated shilling (ASV), was the equivalent of a man’s wages for a day of work. One measure of barley or grain was the average daily consumption of workmen). The fourth horse and its rider, more dreadful than any of the others, bear the very name Death. To them was given authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth (ASV).
In the light of the meaning of the second, third, and fourth riders, it would seem unreasonable to identify the first rider with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the rider on the white horse in . When Christ does come, “conquering and to conquer,” there will be no subsequent judgments, such as the second, third, and fourth horses represent. Swete is correct in saying of the first horse, “A vision of the victorious Christ would be inappropriate at the opening of a series which symbolizes bloodshed, famine, pestilence.” Even Torrance discerns this, though he adopts a strictly spiritual scheme of interpretation: “Can there be any doubt that this is the vision of antiChrist? It so resembles the real Christ that it deceives people, even many a reader of this passage! . . . It applies whenever evil is mounted upon good and whenever spiritual wickedness conquers by borrowing from the Christian Faith” (Thomas F. Torrance, [The Apocalypse Today], p. 44).

Dearest Heather,
To gain assurance of eternal life and find peace with God, the Bible (God’s Word to us)is very clear as to what you should do. The most important decision you could ever make is to receive the gift of eternal life that God has provided to you through His Son. Here’s how you can find peace and eternal life with God:
1 Acknowledge You are a Sinner.
“All have sinned.” (Romans 3:23) chapter 3, 23rd line.
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)
2 Realize that Jesus Christ Died for Your Sins.
” But God demonstrated His own Love toward us in this:
while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8)
3 Receive Christ into Your Life by Faith.
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the
dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
A Prayer to Pray
Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross and rose from the dead according to the scriptures. I receive You by faith into my heart and life. Amen!

To Heather, she just lied. Look at the end parts.

What Day Was Jesus Really Born On?
——————————————-
No one knows for sure what month, not to mention which day, that Jesus was born on.
To those who think the book is real, think again why she need to tell a lies ? Do u need to lie to show the love of YHWH ?
Why LIE ? Why not the TRUTH ?
May 23rd, 2006 at 6:58 am
I read the book and must admit I had reservations and questions at various stages - . (we must be so careful because ‘Deception” is the name of the game today as we have been warned) so I read the book with an open mind and heart but also trusting the Holy Spirit for discernment.. . I found myself to be immensely overwhelmed and blessed by the love of God that I saw in her experience and got the feeling that although Choo experienced all these special things - God intended it to be an experience for us to partake in. This is not for Choo alone - The reason Choo experienced it is because God was able to use her because of her humility and willingness. Jesus, I believe wants to dance with us all -I found myself weeping and saying “thank you dear Jesus for your revealing your heart of love toward your Bride, sorry Lord Jesus for thinking at times that you never really loved me, but through this book you have shown yourelf to be a beautiful Saviour who is so loving, so heavenly but also so REAl and this absolutely rocked me. This book has strengthened me so much and after reading it I have been so excited -yes I’m on earth but Heaven is so REAL. Surely God has revealed the heart of our Saviour through this book. I believe that her dances are prophetic - many will not understand this yet - but God works in mysterious ways and can accomplish things in the Spirit by our actions (and words) read how the prophets of old like Jeremiah had to perform certain very strange actions with their bodies and through this God accomplished His purpose. Didn’t one of them have to lie on their side for a certain amount of days showing what God would do with Israel etc.. (Don’t quote me as I haven’t looked it up - just memory) didn’t He get Moses to lift up His hands with the rod.. this was all Very important to God and if they did it wrong then there were consequences eg. Moses hitting the rock instead of speaking to it. There was also another time when a man of God was told to beat the ground with a weapon and because he only did it a certain number of times, God was not happy and there were consequences in the battle. Gosh, what is this saying to us?? God wants to use our hands, our bodies for His Glory ,Surely this shows us that God is looking for a person through whom He can accomplish His will. He works through our bodies prophetically (If we will allow Him) but the problem is that we question Him too much and our reasoning gets in the way - this is a fine line because we have to be careful of deception - but I believethe only way we can avoid deception is to pray - we cannot use our reasoning or our natural minds - it’s too big for us. God needs to cleanse our bodies, to prepare them and this is a hard thing - if He has done it to and through sister Choo - praise His wonderful Name. God could not use us all in this way because most of us could not go through this sort of spiritual preapation , we are not ready for it but God has chosen Choo and yet it is for our sakes and for the advancement of His Kingdom in these days of evil and deception. When the enemy comes in like a flood - the Lord will raise standard against Him. Let’s get excited about the standard God is raising, Let’s rejoice and ask Him to give us discernment in this. (Not make our own judgements) A thought about the birthday. I also found myself questioning this one - but then I thought to myself.. OK, if the day is wrong Jesus surely knows it - yet how beautiful that in His love He responds to those of us who do celebrate on 25 December - we know it’s not the day - but all over the world the carols are sung, the glad tidings are announced and many of us don’t talk about “Father Xmas” to our children but tell them about Jesus - we celebrate His coming into the world, we talk about Mary and Joseph and the donkey and the stable - what a blessed story and Jesus in His love reponds - how magnificent. This is how I make senses of it all. Another Book I want to tell you all about is called “The priestly Bride” by Anna Rountree. It is also one that you will find your self questioning but what a beauty!! Please try and get a copy and read it through - it gets better and better. She also has close encounters with Jesus and is taken to Heaven - but again I felt it was not for her alone. God wants to encourage His people at this time, and these special revelations are just a gift to keep us going. Thank you dear Lord and please help us to feel and know your heart for us through these peoples experiences. Each one of these people including Mary Baxter have consecrated themselves to God in special ways. They spend hours praying (many of us are not able to do ) this should be an encouragement to us to keep hanging in there.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hey Hope, just a quick question. Eccl 7 says that the day of one’s death is better than the day of his birth. Don’t you think that if Jesus was going to celebrate a day from His earthly life it would be the day of His death in keeping with Scriptures? And especially in the case of our Lord’s death when His death brought freedom to all who trust in Him and His shed blood. Maybe they pray several hours. The truth is we have no way of knowing. We are not with them every minute of the day. All we can do is compare what they wrote with Scripture. What she has written falls short of the absolute truth of Scripture on several occasions.

Most of us have never and probably never will experience anything like this. This seems to be a special work. If we lived in the days of Isaiah and saw him walking around in his underwear as God told him to - would we question it, pray about it, refute it, call him a mad man, - all this would be easier than accepting it. Yet we always shake our heads at Israel for being so ‘Unbelieving”.. Yes we have questions but one thing seems certain and that is that this lady loves Jesus with all her heart.
Ever read the ’song of Solomon’? I used to read this and think” Lord why is this in the Bible - seems so strange, what’s it all about. Now I think I’m beginning to realise especially after reading Choo’s book and Anna Rountrees”The priestly bride” that the Lord truly is wanting us to love Him in a very special way. We can come to the point where He means more to us than anything, we long for Him, to be with Him and to be in His presence. Since reading these books, I have really felt God’s love for me in a new way. Anybody else experienced this?
May 31st, 2006 at 5:53 am
John, sorry I didn’t answer your question. I don’t have all the answers - and I also have many questions. But surely we all have to admit that we can all enter into a deeper relationship with the Lord. Isn’t Jesus preparing His bride - it seems to me that every one of us has the invitation to draw nearer and closer to Him. How exciting!! Incredible to think what awaits us. Yes, the Lord says that every time we partake of the communion (Bread and wine) that we proclaim His death - which is a commemoration or I suppose you could say a celebration of His death and resurrection.. This is not confined to a certain day instead it is “Whenever”.. perhaps he than leaves the celebration of His birth open as an option. I believe it was a glorious day and so what ever day we choose to celebrate it .. He in His love and grace responds. The 25th December may be the day of pagan whatever but surely He won’t mind if we choose to give that day to Him. He is above paganism and paganism does not have to dictate to Him or to us. Praise His wonderful and precious Name!! He wins in our books every day.!!

Let us not be impressed with the hours someone prays. If you read the bible you will see the many ways people have prayed to God. If your prayer is a few seconds, God hears it. If your prayer is only, “God help me” the Lord hears you and it is a good enough prayer! God is not a respecter of persons, He loves us equally. He loves us equally. He loves you as much as He loves me. He is not a respecter of persons. God does not love someone more than He loves another! He is not a respecter of persons. (Acts 10.34)
While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! He didn’t wait until we got worthy enough! He isn’t waiting for you to pray for hours a day!
God wants us to acknowledge we are sinners, realize that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and receive Christ into our lives by faith.
” If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10.9)
Go ahead and buy yourself a Bible!

Hi Lisa, you said “go ahead and buy yourself a Bible” what does this mean? Anyway , My Bible tells me that God is not a respector of persons yes - what does this mean? It surely means that He does not respect position as humans do. We may respect a person in a high position, yet have no respect for a peasant, yet God has no respect for position - He FAVOURS yes I repeat FAVOURS those who are obedient and faithful. My Bible tells me that Mary was HIGHLY FAVOURED, And the same with Daniel. Putting it another way - God is not a respector of persons - He can Favour someone in a low position or a high one. Isn’t that wonderful, He will favour you if you choose to spend time seeking His will , being faithful and obedient. It’s up to you - Not Him. Draw Near to God and He will Draw near to you. (James4:8)
Go ahead and read your Bible!

Melody,
I read your letter from May 9. Thank you for taking the time to correct the untruths of that book.
1 Timothy 3.16 -17 says All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good work.
You did a good work. Lisa

Barry McGarrh,
Haven’t heard from you in a long time!
June 2nd, 2006 at 5:51 am
have a question for you - if you have made up your mind that the Book is not true why do you keep searching to find other responses that back up your position. Are other people’s opinions your security against deception? Seems to me you are searching for people who will agree with your stand. You don’t need to hear from Barry on this you need to hear from God. Does God endorse the book or not? This is the question we all need to find an answer to. .
To me, the Bible seems to be an account of the dealings of God with man. - surely God is still doing something in the world ..Not all his dealings with mankind can be recorded in the Bible - we are still here!!Because the Bible is a closed book does this mean that God is not working in strange and wondrous ways? The Bible says in Jeremiah “Call to me and I will show you great and mighty things you never knew”. . Yes we have the scriptures, but we can have something more than the scriptures.. we can have the presence of God or else why would we need the Holy Spirit? So we can enter into a very personal relationship with the Lord..The book is helping and blessing many people..
We all need to grow in God and make sure that we are not being like Saul. In his zeal for God, he hurt the cause of God. Let’s all rather continue to seek God and be careful not to throw the book out until we have heard from Heaven that God feels the same way.

The Gospel of Jesus: In Search of His Original Teachings - is also available from John Davidson’s own web site http://www.johndavidson.org -
look for the link - Where to buy - at the top of the page…
This book will clear up a lot of misunderstanding of who or what God really is. There are many things that will become very clear once you have read this book. It will take you a few weeks to read this (1000 plus pages) but in the end it will clear your mind of all doubts, quotes in this book are taken from all available sources and must have taken the author (John Davidson) quite a few years to assemble all this data.

I am about to share something wonderful that will lift your spirit. For many years I have been studying ancient Jewish customs, history, metaphors, idioms, etc. Jesus used parables to teach people truths about the kingdom of heaven. In Judaism, a parable is likened to a deep well filled with cold refreshing, crystal clear water but no one could get to it until one day a man came along and tied rope upon rope and lowered it down into the well to draw water. It is also likened to a boiling pot of water that until someone put handles on it, no one could lift or use it. So, in short a parable helps you “get a handle on a truth.â€
Since the days of Moses, there were established ancient Jewish wedding customs. These customs were still in effect at the time of our Lord. The words he spoke to his bride about heaven are directly from this custom. To understand the fullness of “I go and prepare a place for you†is to know the custom and order of the Jewish wedding.
In the time of Jesus, the marriage ceremony was complex and fascinating. Marriage was a practical legal matter, established by a contract and carried out in exact order.
If you wanted a wife, your father selected your bride. You could confer with him over your choice if you were old enough. There was no dating as we know it. If you saw a woman you wanted, you wrote up a contract “ketuba†stating the price you were willing to pay for her and the provisions that you would make for her. The Bride Price (Mohar) is high. The groom paid dearly for his bride. The “price†he paid showed how much he valued her. Once the contract was completed, the groom would go to the brides’ home and present this contract to her parents.
If the parents’ approved they would call their daughter to review it. She is given a free will to accept. A glass of wine would be set before her. If she accepted the contract she would sip from the wine glass. This is the first cup of wine. He shares from the same cup, symbolizing the shared life that would be theirs. This cup of wine is known as “the cup of Joy.†Wine symbolized joy and blood. They are now legally engaged. It would require a “get†or “divorce†if they were to change their minds.
The groom gives gifts for his bride to help her remember him while they were apart. These gifts will help her to keep her focused on her bridegroom. The groom then declares, “I go and prepare a place for you.†He returns to his Fathers house and begins to add a new living unit to the family compound. This bridal chamber had to be beautiful! It had to be stocked with provisions because they would stay in the chamber for 7 days. The groom would work eagerly to complete the dwelling place so he could claim his bride. His Father oversaw the work and was the only one who could determine when everything was ready. Generally the engagement period was one year. No one but the Father knew when the wedding would take place.
During the time the groom is away, the Bride is set apart and consecrated during the time of waiting. She had a “mikveh†or “immersion†before the women of the congregation. She was no longer called by her name but referred to as “consecratedâ€, “set apart†and “bought with a priceâ€. As the time grew closer, she would gather her bridesmaids and whosoever will to her house every night in case he came for her. The oil lamps would be full and burning just in case.
The bridegroom returns with a shout “Behold the Bridegroom cometh and the shout of the shofar.†He usually came at the midnight hour. All jewish brides were stolen…imagine the thrill of being carried off into the night by the one who paid a great price for you! She enters a bridal carriage called “Aperion†and is carried to the place prepared for her.
7 blessings are spoken over the couple. The second cup of wine is sipped to seal the marriage covenant. They greet their guests then enter into a chamber where they will be alone for 7 days called “the week of the bride.†The friend of the bridegroom waits outside to hear the voice of the groom say that the marriage was consummated. The guests began a week-long celebration. On the 8th day, the bride and groom leave the chamber and her veil is removed for all to see. This is followed by the “marriage supper.†After this, they go to the bridegrooms prepared place.
Beloved, we are in the middle of the biggest courtship ever in history!
We were chosen by the father. John 15:16 says, “you did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain.â€
As his bride, we have been purchased by his blood. The highest “Mohar†or “bride price†was paid for us. I Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “You are not your own; you were bought at a price.†When Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, he was speaking to the Lord, saying, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.†What cup was he speaking of? The wedding cup! The first cup of the marriage covenant, “the cup of joyâ€. If he picks it up and drinks of it (tastes of his death- the bride price) he must go and prepare a place for his bride. The bible tells us that yet for “the joy set before him, he endured the cross.†The bride price was his shed blood!
Just as the “ketubah†or “Marriage contract†was the inalienable right of the bride, the New Testament is our ketubah and all promises are received by faith.
As in the Jewish custom, the bride must give her consent and say, “I love him†or “I do.â€
This new covenant “I Do†is found in Romans 10:9-10. “If you confess with your mouth the lord Yeshua, the Messiah, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved for with the heart one believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.â€
The “cup of the covenant†(glass of wine) is shared between the bride and groom. We see this in Luke 22:20 where Jesus symbolically took the cup signifying this new marriage covenant with His bride, “likewise, he also took the cup after supper saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.â€
When we partake that cup (communion), we remember of heavenly bridegroom and the “mohar†he paid for us. Just as there was the “cup of joy†in the beginning, there is another glass to drink from at the marriage supper, that is why Jesus said in Mathew 26:29, “I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.â€
Just as the groom left gifts for his bride, Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit and gifts to help us remember him and keep us faithful while we are apart. When we receive the gifts, we give him pleasure.
Just as the groom said “I go and prepare a place for you.†Jesus says to us, “do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (John 14:1-3).
There is so much more I could say but it is late and I am going to close with this. You see, Jesus did not ever teach that there was a place on the outskirts of heaven, outside of His presence where people were walking around dejected and could not enter into his rest as Choo speaks of. All who go to heaven will be “where He is.â€
Beloved, Jesus came from His Father’s house to our house. He brought with him our marriage contract known to us as the New Testament. He paid the highest and dearest price for us. He poured the cup of passion at Calvary. We are greatly treasured and valued. We drink the cup and wait. He left us with his gifts, our compasses so to speak that get us to our destination until we see him face to face.
Have you said, “I do†and “I love your†to your Savior? Have you said to the world, that you are set apart/consecrated and brought with a price? We should look and act different than the world. Have you been through your Mikvah. Are you ready to look into his glorious face with “dove eyes Are you gathering with the wedding party and getting ready? Is your lamp filled with oil?
Listen, when he comes, we will be with the Lord and know Him intimately, and one day, on the great day, we will come out with our veils off. We will be with our Beloved forever!!!
I pray that God open your eyes to his wonderful truths. May you be filled each day with awe and wonder at our Savior.
Blessings, Melody

Melody,
How marvelous! Wow, what a lesson. This message is so great. I have heard parts of the Jewish traditions of marraige and this puts it all together! Thanks so much for sharing joy in the Lord. Lisa

Thank you Melody for sharing this with us - so beautiful. Absolutely awesome !- thankyou for blessing us. Have you read ”The Priestly Bride” by Anna Rountree?. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down - it is glorious yet very down to earth. I encourage all Christians who love “The Bride” theology to read a copy. Perhaps we could all then express our views on it! Again - please let’s all remember that our opinions are not necessarily God’s opinions. We are all searching for the truth in these things. These things seem seem crazy to us and yes we all need to be careful of deception. I think the Lord understands our ‘questionings’ but let’s remain open minded.
Back to ‘the book’ - I think it’s a good idea for people to watch this lady on the DVD. I live in Australia and ordered the book from the U.S.A. - so I’m not sure of the price you’d pay - what with conversion rates and all, but it’s a good price.
Here are a few ‘thoughts and opinions” . Of course, I may be wrong but May God open our minds and eyes to the truth - His truth.
Some say that they can’t accept that there might be divisions in Heaven. How do we know? She may be wrong but again she may be right. Seems to me that not all ‘christians’ or people in the church constitute ‘the Bride’ . The Bride of Christ is surely one who has prepared herself for her lover just as you have written about. Many Christians today are not using the time to prepare themselves or be led by the spirit of God - but led instead by tradition, by others opinions, carnality, emotions, the flesh, and so on. Many are not too concerned about things like obedience, putting the flesh to death, or seeking the Lord’s will or spending time in His presence. Lisa, you said that we should not be impressed by how many hours a person spends praying, I think you’re right up to a point but surely a person who is in love with Jesus will spend many hours with him not necessarily ‘praying for anything’ but just enjoying worshipping Him and being in His presence. As you say Melody, this is a courtship, but surely we all know that there are many Christians who are not responding to the ‘lover of their souls’. You yourself said christians should be different - but many are not. So - do you think all ‘christians’ are going to enjoy the same seat at His wedding table? . We cannot say they are not saved - but they have not chosen Him to be their first love. ( Their choice - not His. ) Again - it seems to be up to us - not Him as to the ‘closeness’ of this courtship. Perhaps there are divisions in Heaven and the place of preparation for that is here on earth. (1 Cor 3:10) It’s up to us to draw near and delight in our divine lover. Jesus woos us and we have the choice as to how we respond. He longs to have first place in our hearts and awaits our response to His diving wooing and this courtship - how awesome!!
This is not anything to do with “works’ but a love relationship with free will in operation as you said Melody.
Many might think that this is favouritism but Many of us have favouritism against God. We choose rather to spend time with our idols, be it TV, the telephone, friends, sport other activities, no we cannot spend every waking moment with God but some spend far more time with everything else. - and Jesus has to have second place. Perhaps He in His grace will give some a place in heaven but maybe it will be 2nd place - maybe not the position they expect - or else why is He bothering to find a Bride? He favours those who favour Him.
The Bible says that we must be careful how we build (1 Cor3 :10 - 15 ) - - ” some build with stubble and hay but other choose to build with gold , silver or precious stones the quality of each person’s building will be revealed in the Day of Christ The fire will test it and show its real quality. If you build on the foundation and survive the fire you will receive a reward. but if your work is burnt up you will lose your reward but you will be saved only just escaping the fire”… What does this mean? Doesn’t the Bible tell us that God took Enoch out of the world because He walked with God? Would you call this unfair on God’s part ? I believe This is an Old Testament type of” the Bride” being snatched up - raptured - but remember “Enoch walked with God..” not all were taken out of the world at that time.
This is not meant to be condemning or discouraging but rather encouraging and exhorting. We all have the opportunity to draw near to God - He does not put any restrictions on how much time we can spend with Him. He wants us to dance for Him, Song of songs 6;13 “Dance, and turn Shulamite - that we may look upon thee” Psalm149: 3 “praise His name in dance” Psalm30:11 “Thou hast turned my sorrow to dancing” This shows our devotion. our joy, our gratitude and response to His love. Don’t lovers desire to dance together? Sisters and Brothers, let’s enter into what awaits us. Don’t let’s be envious of those who have entered in before us - the invitation is open to all of us. Rejoice for those who have gone in ahead of us and let’s be encouraged by their example.. How beautiful for our Divine lover that some have responded fully to His Love . Choo Thomas dances for Him, Who do we dance for? Perhaps He cherishes her dancing. Many only dance at night clubs and use dancing for sensual dancing. So much awaits us, let’s get excited as we realize more and more that God is not interested in religion - He wants our hearts and our love. Anyone read the” Song of Solomon” in the Bible lately?
Many I know will disagree with me but “many” is not “everyone”..we all see things in a different light. The “song of Solomon” is strange to us but it is talking of the heavenly Bride. As I wrote earlier, I think the experiences of Choo Thomas were something for us all - but I don’t think we all need to go through this kind of unusual work - the work He has done to her and through her seems to me to be an intercessory prophetical action - whereby God is accomplishing through her - something for His Bride to benefit from today. This is not new. Don’t you see throughout the Bible that God would often use one person’s actions to affect the nation. Please let’s be careful with this as it could be something special and significant for us all. Could be a door opening in the spirit realm, something opening up for us all and yet He has not chosen us but her to go through the pain of it. Yes, I know that someone is going to write back responding with the ‘Jesus did it all”.. yes, He accomplished all for our salvation, but He is surely still working. Or then why did Paul (Saul) have to be blinded and thrown off his horse - this was for the Gentiles to enter in - it was necessary and significant. Why did the disciples have to be taken for drunk men as tongues of strange fire came upon their heads - this was the time of the Holy Spirit being poured out on “all men” - yet this was necessary first with the 12 apostles because they signify the 12 tribes of spiritual Israel. If we were there we might have joined in with those who thought they were drunk on wine.. and we may have been guilty of opposing the work of God. We need to remember that God’s ways are not our ways some have been willing to be fools for Him. I believe the time is ripe for the Bride to be made ready!! - Let God be God and let’s seek the mind of God before we condemn and reject this strange work done in sister Choo Thomas. Human beings tend to reject, condemn and oppose what they don’t understand.

I was very much blessed by this book as well as reading the blogs of all who cared enough about their faith to respond using the Word. The book has lifted me to walk closer with God. I did feel it queer that she should be chosen but yes, the Lord in the Bible has always chosen those who had a Pure and Obedient heart. This thought draws me to a desire to want to be favoured of God; not in a competitive way but letting Him be the Great Judge of all our thoughts and intents. He supplies us with the faith for us to believe, the Hope for us to run the good fight of faith and the love to do His will. I will continue to wait on Him and I believe His Coming will be Glorious and in our Generation. When we read about the crazed happenings around the world and the carazy system ranging from crimes to even the stress in the examination system (anybody has any views on that?), I am sure glad Christ is returning to put things right.
June 9th, 2006 at 11:30 pm
wow. first time to this site. interesting!! For me, one has to discern whether the book is true or not true. Fill with the Holy
Spirit and in all things, let the Holy Spirit guide you and tells you which and what is right or wrong.

I still haven’t finished the book. And decided not to continue reading it. Not because I believe the auther is from the devil or anything else. Just because of the way it made me feel. As a teacher I teach my kids about a yes and a no feeling. I had a no feeling. Yes it made me take stock of my relationship. But it made me feel very uncomfortable. And I prayed a lot about this book. After I read this web page I am now sure that it is not a good book for me to read.
Do not get me wrong I do believe that God is more then capable to of any and every thing she said. But I believe that we must want to go to heaven because we really want to be with God and not because she told me how bad hell is going to be. God is my choice because he died for me on the cross not because he’s the better option. I believe God is my savior and that I can only get into heaven by his grace.

Another good book to read is Rebecca Springer’s, “Beyond Heaven’s Gates”. Jesus is truly exhorting us to “get our houses in order”. I, too, have lost family members, but I have watched God respond to Jesus’ command to His disciples in Matt 9:37-38 - Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” I may not be the worker in my family, but I pray for God to send the right worker at the right time. He got you and me, didn’t He?

Hi Barry and Others,
He sure got me! And He’s got everyone else here. What testimonies we could share. The Tales of the Lost and Found!
I try to say something about the Lord to most people I meet. Sometimes there is a person who will be ready to repond and sometimes a seed is planted for someone else to harvest. I pray God to send christians to my unsaved loved ones. Hearing the truth from me may not be received, but I’ll keep on trusting the Lord.
To Hope,
God is using this blog for His Glory. Some things we write are inspired by Him for someone. It might not be for me or you.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 is how I strive to pray. What I wrote is for a special person who needed to know that God hears us no matter how unlearned in prayer and faith we may be.
Barry ministered to me and I wanted to hear from him again because of
that. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all.

Wonderful to hear theses responses from brothers and sisters all over the world.
Lisa, you are right, this blog is for God’s glory and purpose. You have a true heart to serve God and help others. Please forgive the hasty comments - I believe your words concerning prayer have encouraged many. May the Lord bring us all to maturity as true sons and daughters and may He be glorified as we seek Him together in these important issues in these last days.
Greetings Yola, a few thoughts for you - this book gave you a ‘no’ feeling. Yet you also said that this book made you take stock. So it helped you!? We all need a wake up call. I agree with you that we should want to go to Heaven to be with God not only to avoid Hell . You are a parent and I am one too. I am sure that when you want your children to obey you - you teach them that there will be consequences and punishment for disobedience. This helps children to be obedient. Only an unjust parent would not warn their children first. God is the true parent and He does the same. The Bible is all about obedience and promises toward the obedient and consequences and punishment for disobedience. The Gospel is not all pretty and not all good news. There is alot of blood and fire in it. The true Gospel is that Jesus Christ came to earth and died for us - He took our punishment and saved us from Hell - that is the good news toward those who believe and accept this sacrifice - but what is the bad news? God commands all men everywhere to repent…. so anyone who doesn’t is in rebellion and will face the punishment. The Gospel is not comfortable. This lady Choo Thomas has not only written about the reality of Heaven but also the reality of Hell .
This book I believe is a grace and blessing for Christians and unbelievers
but it is not always pleasant reading -
-
Some other books about the reality of hell are two books by Katherine Mary Baxter entitled “A revelation of Hell” and “a revelation of the Spirit Realm” also “23 minutes in Hell” by Bill Wiese. Warning!! They will shock you disturb you and make you very uncomfortable!! When last did we tell somone of the horrors of hell - perhaps these books will wake us up to our responsibility…’preach the Gospel to every living creature, he that believeth shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be condemned.” Mark 16:16 . This is the Gospel we are commanded to preach and only a few are preaching it in all its beauty and horror. I stand corrected. God bless Choo Thomas

My sister Brenda, was controlled, dominated, and in bondage from demonic spirits for 40+ years of her life. She lost everything, kids, husband, her life from any form of normalness , only torment continually.
We continued to pray, believing for her deliverance for years. The second Sunday of Sept. 2003, she was continually tormented by demonic spirits at her home. She said, “Lord if you will just let me lay down and take a nap, I promise I will get up later and go to that church right down the road.” The Lord spoke to her and said, IF YOU LAY DOWN AND SLEEP YOU WILL WAKE UP IN HELL. She knew the voice of God was calling her for the last time, she got dressed, waited outside the church for it to open, got saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and now is on fire, witnessing for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, Choo Thomas is right, my sister is living proof of Gods love for each one of us, it is not his will that any should perish. Praise the Lord!!!
I have given out 50+ of the CD’s and sharing the book with many, what a blessing!!

Psalm 103 vs 10 - 14
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west, So far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful we are but dust.

yola,
Most of us here had the same feelings you have. It doesn’t take the Holy Spirit but a moment to give us discernment on what is wrong or right. We don’t have to “open our minds” or ask God over and over if this book is in error. It does not line up with the teachings of the Bible.
She wrote her dreams in the form of a list and found a minister to fill in the blanks with scripture.
I love the last lines of your message!

I have not read the book and really do not need to. I’ll reserve comment after having seen Choo Thomas’s video message.
Nevertheless, thank God, we have the Bible and the Holy Spirit to teach us.
better yet: for a good website, try http://www.raycomfort.com again try the website http://www.raycomfort.com
email me after and let me know what you think
God bless you

Hi again,
I just wanted to clarify only one thing. I mentioned that I would reserve comment after having seen Choo Thomas’s video message - what I mean’t by this is that, I have already seen her video and have no need to comment on it or her book (which I do not need to read).
Instead, Brothers and Sisters - I would emphasize again … if you are looking for a really good, edifying site … and one which will strengthen your faith while having spiritual enjoyment with, again try:
http://www.raycomfort.com
that’s http://www.raycomfort.com
God bless you all, maranatha.

Hi Steve,
waiting to hear your verdict! For your info. If you go into the site “Christianforums” and look for the heading “Want to know your purpose?” - you will find an article by Philip Jones wherein he recommends two books namely “Heaven is so real” by Choo Thomas and “The Way of the Master” by Ray Comfort. Thought that might be of some significance to you.
It might be pointed out that although some are rashly refuting this book as ’satanic’ and others are brazenly sending defamatory accusations into cyberspace concerning this sister’s testimony - do they hold any regard or give credibility to the fact that the book is endorsed and translated by Senior Pastor Yonggi Cho (holding the biggest Congregation In Korea) also Bill Wolfson Senior Pastor, (Churchfor all Nations Washington) who writes “Choo is a woman of God who epitomizes what it means to put first things first. The Lord Jesus Christ is truly the cornerstone of her life…. this book is a must read for those who have ever doubted the authenticity of what awaits us beyond the veil”
Another sister says “I have known her for 2 years almost. I have watched her great love for the Lord and her obedience and dedication to Him. … Choo is the kind of witness for God that makes you want to know Him more and more..”
Steve, glad to hear you are watching the video but seeing as you are not reading the book - I would like to quote a few passages that I feel show us her heart and commitment to the Lord and the Gospel..
Page 1..
“I literally fell in love with Jesus. When I found out what He did for me, I made up my mind that I wanted to give all of my being to Him for the rest of my life. I began to lose my old desires each day ,very quickly. I could think only about Jesus every waking moment. ”
Page 3
“Jesus is always in my thoughts and on my tongue. When difficult times come, I think about what Jesus did for us. When I remember all that He has done, I realize nothing is too hard for me. When someone hurts me, I simply meditate on all Jesus did for me at Calvary and peace comes instantly.
I have had a strong desire to pray for others. I have become a true prayer warrior. Intercessory pray has become a way of life for me.
page 12
“It is His will for us to bear lasting fruit in His name. It is His will for us to minister to others. It is His will for us to believe when we pray. It is His will for us to spend time in His presence, to wait upon Him.”
Page25
“God does indeed take care of everything in our lives. God is working His purposes out. His love for His children is unrelenting. His word is true. Now the burning desire of my heart is to help people to understand , to see, to believe the truth.”
Page 31
“…yet every day, as He acknowledged to me, His children turn away from Him, betray Him, forget Him and lose sight of the power of His blood that He shed for them. I sensed the deep pain my master was feeling. Now I know more that ever why my calling must be fulfilled. People - both saved and the lost - need to know the power of the blood of Jesus. They need to understand all that He accomplished for them at Calvary. The people of God as well as the people in the world need to know that Jesus has made a way for them to overcome the world, darkness, evil and all the works of the enemy. The blood of Jesus, a scarlet thread that weaves the entire Bible together - has made a way for them.
page 72
“the time of His return is at hand. This is the burning message that must be told. This is the theme of my book and my life”
(end quotes)
These don’t sound like the ravings of a lunatic to me. Surely she is revealing the heart of God to all.

“If you confess wth your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10.9
Our God is so good to us!

I enjoyed the book so much that I was compelled to have a book review. I have never been so effected by a book (except the Bible) in my entire life. My review will be Aug. 19 and I have 16 women coming. I am very interested in how they perceive the book; where they stopped and cried; what their questions are, etc. It is perplexing, exciting, and makes me wonder if it could really be totally true.
I, like many of you, were impressed to look at my own relationship with my Lord. What does my life say to the unsaved world; what am I doing to bring glory to my God; how much love is evident in my life? I’m convinced that He is coming soon and that He is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle and when I look at the church is doesn’t look spotless to me - I can only wonder what our God sees. According to Choo Nan’s account, our manions are ready but we are not. How sad.
I believe this book is yet another warning to us to look at US - not anyone else - ME and MY relationship with HIM. How willing am I to let Him have COMPLETE control of my life - How willing am I to say Holy Spirit shine the light of your love in the intermost recesses of my heart and reveal to me hidden sin that pride has not allowed me to acknowledge. Our pride and intellect has often blinded us to more truths God wants to reveal to us. I’m not saying that what she wrote is Holy Scripture but only look at it and say “I may not understand this but what if” or “does it make any difference if it’s true or not”? I think we are quibbling about things that may not be that important. I do know this much, I want to be ready to meet Him in the air and live with Him eternally in a mansion that He had prepared for me. I never have liked the desert and I don’t want to live in one in heaven. I’ve had a bout with depression and I don’t want to be depressed and down-cast in heaven. I intend to join the heavenly choir and sing praises to Him forever. I’m told the music in heaven is beyond anything we have ever heard. I’m looking forward to hearing that. But most of all — I want to see Jesus!!!!!
Another book you may enjoy is written by an ex-atheist named “My Descent into Death” by Howard Storm. 90 Minutes In Heaven is another one. God bless you.
I love you church!

Update on book review!!
Eleven ladies gathered at my house last Sat. morning to review Heaven Is So Real. Even though there were many questions, some even said they outright didn’t believe her, we all came away from the book changed. We all felt the need to examine our own Christian lives and walk to make changes. It was so sucessful we decided to review another book. In September we’ll be doing “My Descent into Death” by Howard Storm. Later! Jan

Don’t usually read this type of work but was ask to read it by a girlfriend because it ‘freaked her out’ and would I read it and give my two cents. Half way through I began to wonder what ’spirit’ we were actually dealing with and preceded to lay the book down an cry out for the Spirit of the Living God to help me make sence of all of this.
September 5th, 2006 at 2:55 pm
Kris,
Many of us felt the same way. You were reading things that are not from the Lord and you looked to God for help. He is our wonderful Father.
Barry McGarrhs comment on Feb 14th and Melodys respnse on May 9th really helped me.
We are children of the Living God and He gives us discernment.
Psalm 119:105 says, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
God takes good care of us. Lisa

It is truly very sad that there are so many negative comments on this page. If you are filled with the ‘Holy Spirit’ then you will know that Choo Thomas is truly lead by the Lord and is a witness to the Lord. If you ‘are’ filled with the Holy Spirit and know your bible then you can testify to her biblical experience.
Just remember that Satan will do everything in his power to sidetrack - lie cheat in order to steal souls. If her witness is only to lead those of you to the Lord then what is she doing ‘wrong’ - it shows you are being led astray by confusion from Satan - after all he wants you to be in ‘hell’ doesnt he? Are you jealous of her experience? You obviously do not have the some ’spirit’. Many of you are not governed by ‘faith’ in the Lord - or have a pure heart. Be on your guard - do not let Satan’s lies lead you into hell.
September 6th, 2006 at 2:03 pm
Well said DV - I can testify that when we cry out to God He does show us us things that will shock us and rock us - Yes, lay the book down and cry out to God for discernment because this awesome message comes from the throne. God has gone to such lengths through this woman to reveal His heart and love yet still He can’t find the hearts and ears of many of His own. I think this is so sad but on the other hand there are many whose lives have geen greatly impacted by her message and who take the message seriously because they know this is sacred ground. Hallelujah.

Why are Christians so against this book?
September 8th, 2006 at 3:29 am
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Eph. 2:8-9).
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS’ (Matt. 7:21-23).
September 8th, 2006 at 5:25 am
Dear DV,
Precious one, Did you read my response on May 9? Did you search the scriptures I listed in response to the comments that she claims Jesus said? God’s word tells us that he is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not change! The Jesus she is experiencing does not line up with the Word. We must be balanced with both the Word and the Spirit.
Choo writes about her experiences and then attaches the word of God to back up her experience. While the word of God that she quotes from the bible is accurate (i.e, wars, famines, earthquakes), it still doesn’t make her experience true!
1 John 4:1-3 says, “beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.†How do we do test a prophet?
The initial test for a prophet is given by Moses. In Deut 18:21-22 it says, “you may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken? ‘When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.†(To speak “presumptuously†is to be understood as spoken against the written word of God. This means you cannot change what God has already laid down as truth. )
Moses goes on to say, “If a prophet prophesies a sign, a wonder or a prediction, and that prediction fails to come to pass, that person is to be regarded as a false prophet and never heeded again.
According to Moses, the second criteria for determining a true prophet is this: “A true prophet does not counsel against the commandments of God. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the LORD your God….to seduce you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. (Dt 13:5)â€.
So, let’s ask some basic questions:
1) Does she reveal anything that goes against the Lords direct words to us? Does it line up with the Gods Word? A prophets message must never be contrary to the Word of the Lord. Remember, God does not change!
Choo declares that Jesus said “Without prophets. I would not have any way of communicating my desire to my children†(Pg 102). Now let’s compare this to what Jesus already told us:
Jn 10:27-28 says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me’ and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.†NASB
Choo states that he has no way of communicating to us without Prophets yet Jesus says WE HEAR HIM!
Again, Choo says:
“Many of My children, however, do not pray sincerely or long enough. If they do not have patience, they cannot receive a blessing.†(Choo quoting Jesus, Pg 129)
Yet Jesus says,
Mat 6:7-8 says, “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition, as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore DO NOT BE LIKE THEM; for your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him.†NASB. Let’s continue on…
2) Has her predictions come to pass?
3) Does her message bear good fruit?
4) Did the revelation turn people toward God or away from Him?
5) Who is exalted?
So, according to the Word, a prophets words can come to pass but that does not make him a prophet of God. Instead, his/her message must also be consistent with the Word (Torah).
According to some, her revelations are turning them toward God and in effect this bears good fruit; however, this is not enough.
All experiences must be tested against the written word. Why? Because God revealed his true character and nature in the Bible. Scripture tells us that He never changes. If a revelation is not in character with the Word, it doesn’t matter that there are elements of truth woven into it, we must still toss it. (Satan knows the Word and trembles)
The bible tells us that we receive revelation or communication from the following sources: the Holy Spirit, the human soul, and realm of evil spirits. So discernment becomes critical. We know that the Holy Spirit is the only true source of revelation (2 Pet 1:21).
Out of the human soul can come visions from their own minds. To these the scripture says:
Ezek 13:2-3 says, “Woe unto the foolish prophets that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing.â€
Jer 23:16 says, “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you will false hopes, they speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.â€
Evil spirits operate as “angels of light.†They often speak with an element of truth within their lies. This is why it is so dangerous to those ignorant of God’s word. Anyone can have a dream, vision, etc and attach the truth of scripture; but it still doesn’t make it true. Satan loves to mix “truth†in his deception. Since the early church, many heresies have come out of the church and formed followers based on their version and interpretation of the truth.â€
Do I believe in Heaven? Absolutely! Can this book cause unbelievers to think about heaven and the Lord? Yes! Does it mean her experience is real? Well……This is why we must search the scriptures and know the heart of our Lord.
Often, a period of time must pass before we see some of the answers we are looking for. Praise God if some are led to Him through the book, however, they must press on to “know†the Lord for themselves and it only comes from intimate study of the word of God. We must be like the Bereans and search it to see if what is being said is true! We must be balanced with both the Word and the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus is the spirit of prophecy…so anything that a person claims came from Jesus must fit his character…he doesn’t change.
This is why I ask: Did the predictions come to pass? What is she doing with all this anointing? Remember, the experience should elevate only Jesus as he does not share his glory with anyone!
DV, You infer that those who discount Choo are not “filled†with the Spirit and perhaps jealous. As for myself, I have no need to feel jealous as my own walk with the Lord is very exciting! If you are referring to being “filled†as speaking in tongues, then yes, I speak in tongues. I believe the gifts of the spirit are for today. I have experienced marvelous personal healings. I believe in visions and dreams and always, always, always check my “experience†against his Word. I also expect a “witness†by his spirit and I am not talking about a feeling here! One cannot hope to discern if a person is a true prophet based on “a feeling.â€
Please be careful to call those who disagree with you as being without the “spiritâ€. We are all in an individual journey. What God may have revealed to you may not be on his agenda for another person until a latter time and vice-versa. The evidence of maturity of walking in the Spirit is evidenced by the fruit. So let’s be kind! I personally rejoice over those who walk at deeper levels of intimacy with our beloved.
No matter how genuine or powerful someone’s experience may seem to be, we must test and prove all things and hold fast to what is good! Let’s examine their message, look at their lifestyle……remember, we are not following revelatory gifts alone…we are following Jesus.
Blessings! Melody

Melody,
Thank you for your good work again. I want only to grow closer to our heavenly Father, to be more like Jesus and to be filled with his Holy Spirit. I asked Jesus Christ into my life many years ago. He is the same wonderful God to me. His Word is alive and I feel I can never get enough.
How great is our God!

Dear Melody,
I would like to know What you do with Pastor Yonggi Cho’s discernment? Does it count for anything with you.? He endorses this message along with many other pastors. He has a church entrusted by the Lord to him with thousands of members. How big is your congregation? Have you considered that you might be wrong in your conclusions? Can you afford to be dogmatic and declare with utter certainty that you are right? We are brothers and sisters in Christ - so no need for accusations or insults but be careful of pride.
Many believe Choo Thomas has been entrusted with a very difficult message to bear and share - what if it had been you that had been chosen? I wonder if peple would believe your testimony? Yes, we can question the message and struggle with parts of it but to criticise and condemn is surely not right. You said DV was infering that those who disagree with him do not have the Spirit. Yet you are inferring the same to us that do believe this message. You believe we do not have any discernment from the Spirit. You said that the Holy Spirit is the only true source of revelation - yet you also say we must follow Jesus and not revelatory gifts - this is contradictory and we cannot therefore make sense of it.
You say that we can only know the Lord through an intimate study of His word - well what would you do if all the Bibles were destroyed.? How would anyone get to know God? The Bible is not the last work of God, - no the Lord has given the Holy Spirit and the words of prophecy yet to be fulfilled as the final work. Surely Melody, We can only know the Lord truly if we spend time in His presence and therein He reveals His will and His heart to us. The written Word is for everyone - but the presence of God is only for those who choose to enter in. Yes, every Christian knows that we don’t have to utter long prayers like the pharisees - this is not what Christ was talking about when He spoke of vain repitition. He was talking in regard to people who offer long prayers in pride or those who repeat themselves because of a lack of faith - but He was not saying that we shouldn’t spend many precious hours seeking His face, His presence and His will. In fact He said just the opposite. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” “Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things you knew not”.. This comes with a price and God rewards those who wait upon Him. Did you know that there is a difference between “praying” and ’seeking the presence of God”? Prayer can be uttered in a moment.. But seeking the Lord is another matter and only those who press in know this is not instantaneous. We have to enter the realm of the spirit and the door way is one of worship- no quick entrance into those gates. Sadly, many Christians do not know the Lord in this intimate way and do not even realise they are missing anything. I believe this grieves and frustrates the Spirit of God.
You say that this Jesus she experiences does not match up with the word - again no sense because Jesus is the word of God made flesh. The Bible is not the final dealings of God with man - He is definitely not finished with man yet. Don’t limit God to His written Word. God has always used prophets to communicate His will to man - without prophets we are confused, we have different doctrines all issuing from interpretations of the written word. God Has always used prophets and only prophets to convey His Will. How desperately We need a “thus saith the Lord”… can you say that all you have written has a “thus saith the Lord” attached - or is it all your opinion?? How I hope for your sake that you are not opposing God. Please be careful because you obviously Love Him very much. He loves you too but then He loved Saul who before He became Paul was killing God’s people in ignorance.

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your positive comments! I am trying to bring in the balance of the word. I am all for spiritual revelations as long as they don’t pervert the truth of the word already established. As Paul instructed, we must try the spirits to see if they are of God. I tried my best to lay out a scriptural foundation. Any true prophet can stand up to scrutiny. It is our jobs to search out the matter.
All scripture is givien by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness that the man of God my be COMPLETE, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim 3:16

I’d like to share something glorious with you all. If you are reading this, I believe that God wants to show you something very important. You are reading this for a reason. God has called your attention. May He give you spiritual understanding and open the eyes of your heart is my prayer. Lord bring and draw whom you will to read this. It is now the Time of Yom Teruah - the Feast of Trumpets!! ( Ra Ha Shanah.) 22 - 24 September. An awesome time!!!! The Lord has recently graciously allowed me to understand the importance of this feast for Christians. What a revelation!!!! My heart is rejoicing in our Lord and I believe this will be a great blessing to you all. It may seem complicated at first reading but persevere and you will be blessed.!! Please don’t give up half way through.
The Feast of Trumpets is a two day feast but the period actually lasts longer. The feast ushers in 10 days of repentance leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) which is the highest holy day. This year on October 2 ) and after this solemn time comes the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles (Succoth) Booths… . All the feasts have historical memorials but they also each have a corresponding prophetic role which is where it gets VERY exciting for Christians.!! Christians all over the world are joining in the feast of Trumpets this year and blowing the shofar in anticipation of the Lord’s Return. You can join in too and I believe it is God’s will for us to understand and participate in this great feast. Carry on reading and you can find out why and how. I used to believe that Christians did not need to understand these Jewish holy days but now I realise they are actually “God’s Holy Days’ given to all His people to participate in. We will be blessed as we do so.
The entire Jewish calendar revolves around the moon and the feast of trumpets is heralded by the new moon. On this feast, It is very important to get the date of the new moon correct but this is not always easy. Anciently, two witnesses had to keep a look out for the new moon which would appear at sunset and was sometimes difficult to see.( More about the significance of this to us later!). Exciting stuff.
The feast began with the solemn and awesome blowing of the trumpets (blown by priests who had been trained for this from childhood). The trumpets were shofars which are ram’s horns. It was an awesome call to awaken the conscience and throughout the day , the trumpets would sound about a hundred times. There were a series of blasts each having their own sound and significance. eg a series of nine sharp blasts was an alarm call, another signal was the crowning of a King, and there were others but the last climatic blast was the signal of victory. Hence the feast of trumpets signified many different things. God called it a memorial - but it was the only feast that was not specific as it had many applications.( Many believe it was Adam’s birthdate and God also used the feast as a memorial of creation) .
The shofar (ram’s horn) was a memorial of Abraham offering Isaac and hence a memorial to Christians of the sacrifice of our saviour. The feast is a call to repentance and heart searching. At this time, anciently, the nation of Israel was on its face before God - repenting and searching the soul to find any hidden sin. This was imperative because the Day of Atonement was approaching which was a day of judgement when every case was sealed for either life or death. (This year it falls on October 2nd)
The feasts also represent time periods in History and The feast of trumpets is a prophetic call to God’s people who are now living in the days just prior to the Great Day of Atonement (judgement) - so these are days of grace, (called Yomim Noraim) when we seriously need to be making sure we are hearing what the Holy Spirit is saying about our lives. If we do not listen to the Spirit we will be as the 5 foolish virgins. The time to hear is NOW - What is God’s Spirit (Ruach Ha Kadesh) saying to you about your life.?? You may think that it doesn’t matter what you are doing with your time, or with your finances, you may think it doesn’t matter what books you are reading or what TV films you are watching, or what you are seeing at the movies, or how you are treating people, but if you want to hear from God, if you want to be healed, if you want more of God’s presence - then it all matters. Use the time now brothers and sisters to search out what is displeasing to God and get it out of your life. Repent and ask God to cleanse you and deliver you. Are you hearing the sound of the shofar in the Spirit?? God commanded Israel to hear the shofar.
At the Feast of Trumpets the heavens are opened!! That is NOW!! Don’t wait until they are shut. Now for another wake up.. Many believe at this time of the year the Lord will come for His Bride. This is because in 1 Cor 15 Paul states “Behold I tell you a mystery……..we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment , the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP, for the TRUMPET will sound…and the dead will be raised..” Hallelujah!! are you catching the revelation. ?? (Remember spritual things are caught rather than taught
In fact many are anticipating and hoping this could be the very year that Christ returns for His bride as the start of the Feast falls on 23 September which is a Saturday (Sabbath) this year, also interestingly there is a solar eclipse. (!) The next time the feast falls on a Saturday is September 2009 and after that not for many years.( I think 2020 )However, even if the feast fall on a week day, God still calls these High Holy Days a sabbath day)
Now concerning the return of our Lord..The interesting and exciting thing for Christians is that the terminology that Jesus used about “no man Knows that day or the hour, only the Father” is a very interesting statement for two reasons:
1 )No man knew when exactly the feast of trumpets would start - because of the difficulty of sighting the new moon - however they did know the season and so should we!
2) In the Jewish marriage ceremony the marriage hour was set by the groom’s father. No -one knew the exact hour although they knew the season or the “time period”. The bride would go out on these days and nights and await the bridegroom who came on a horse to “steal’ her away and this could happen at the midnight hour if the groom’s father so wished!! It would be impossible and unfair for her not to know the season as her groom could keep her waiting outside in the cold for days and nights until she gives up waiting. As the time draws nearer for Christ’s return, He will give us clues, He is revealing the mystery of the Feast of Trumpets to us and my exhortation to you today is .. search it out for yourselves, don’t believe me and don’t please assassinate me either for date setting!! I am only suggesting it as a high probability!! Do your own research - I have spent many hours on the praying for direction and also studying it all - so you do the same please! Our Groom is a gentleman. He does not trick us, or want to elude us or misinform us, but He does want us to be on our guard and be READY for Him, this is why the element of mystery and surprise. This keeps us on our toes, keeps us alert and watching and waiting.
To join in the feast is something highly spiritual and personal but you can also join in by celebrating this in your homes. This is a prophetic declaration that we as Christians can participate in. This will help your children as well as yourselves to have a clearer understanding of the purpose of the feast. God doesn’t want us to be elaborate - we are callled to simplicity and even a humble effort is I believe pleasing to our God. (We did this last night) We started by blowing a shofar , we found a few on the internet and played it several times over which was awesome. Then we Lit some candles at sunset. We laid a table with a white cloth and put several memorials around the table, We had the communion meal set up. We put several things on the table of significance, eg. a crown, an eagle (God’s prophetic bird) a Bible, candles.,and I had a wedding dress hanging up as a symbol of the “Bride” being caught up. It was all very special, the children walked around the table in fascination questioning everything - we partook of communion, sang a few songs, prayed and some of my children even decided to enter into covenant with the Lord. I couldn’t sleep for many hours just recalling it all and being immersed in the joy and Hope of our Lord’s soon return. It is a time of repentance, a time to remember creation, a time to crown the King. It’s an amazingly glorious feast of trumpets!! Another quick amazing thought is that Jesus could easitly have been born on the Feast of trumpets. Again don’t take my word for it or scoff, Do a search on Jesus true birth in September (on the internet) two dates seem to emerge - either September 29 or ..wait for it ..yes September 11 (makes senses why the devil hates that day) This was the time of the feast of Trumpets!! These people have done incredible studies and come up with these dates through alot of research - (Try http://www.sonstoglory.com)excellent site.
Choo Thomas says something interesting on pages 200 and 232. She says that Jesus told her he was “Celebrating his birthday” in December. I questioned this alot and after finding all this about the feast of trumpets it began to make sense. Often we have a birthday but a few days later we celebrate our birthday with a party. If the birthday falls on a Thursday - we often wait for the Saturday for the party as not many could attend on Thursday. Well, Jesus never told Choo it was His birthday on the 25 December, he said he wa CELEBRATING it!! If He celebrated it in September - it would be pretty lonely for Him as most Christians have no idea that he was born in September and they celebrate on 25 December. Don’t you think He wants to be at His own party each year to celebrate with us all. But how wonderful if we could all recognise that TRUE wonderful day and celebrate it with Him on the feast of Trumpets each year!! I need to submit this so you can read it ASAP!!
Have you heard the shofar in the Spirit?… The Call to the bride is going out… ” Arise and shine for your light is come and the glory of the Lord is Risen upon you.”

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more SEA. Revelations 21:1 KJV
So how could there be a heavenly marina with boats, large and small as she describes?
September 30th, 2006 at 9:05 am
she talks about a sea with no waves and she is not in the new heaven or earth - that is a prophecy after the world is made new. She is in a portion of ‘heaven’.
October 1st, 2006 at 12:10 am
I am half way through the book. Quite impressed with the heaven what Choo Thomas described. It is a her personal testimony of encoutering with God. The message what I get so far are
1) Christ is coming soon , be prepared. Do not like those days in Noah’s time
2) Heaven is so real, that encourage a lot of Christians , especailly those suffer so much for Christ on earth. It offers you hope in Christ.
3) The book do give you encouragement and help you to humble yourself ( knowing that we are do not deserve to be in Heaven and it is by the blood of Christ we are saved) . And Christ is the only way to Heaven. No other alternatives.
4) Do not wait. It is the end time. Go and preach the Gospel and read the Bible.
5) The heaven described is either true or false. I do believe heaven is such a beautiful place. How may of the Christicans can claim to be in Heaven and give testimonies in the Church? If her testimonies are not true, Choo Thomas is either a liar or lunatic or suffer from psychiatric illness like schizophreina. The book is well written and quite orderly arranged.
6) Better see the effects after reading the book. If you are non-Christian, are you scared you will miss the place? If you are Christian, are you encouraged and awaked to do God work and spread the Gospel.
I advise all Christians do wake up and prepare fror Christ second coming.

Now, I read this book. I find that it helps me to believe JESUS, I thank JESUS to show us the street to go in the Heaven! Thank you JESUS, my LORD!

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever, Amen.
Jude 16:24

Reading this book has been a glorious experience. In fact mind blowing! I have never read anything like it where I actually felt the love of Jesus for His people and for me personally. Jesus loves us so much.
The life of this woman is an example. She has truly submitted herself to the Lordship of Jesus and has been consecrated for Service. I do not understand all aspects but I believe that through this book, God has given us a glimpse of Heaven. He is letting us know that He is ready and prepared - but are we?
How exciting to have this added blessing for our Christian experience - Jesus wants to reassure us of His love and to remind us to be faithful and obedient.
The book is a real inspiration! Her humility is very evident and perhaps this is why she is able to be used by the Lord. She is soft clay in the Master’s hands and I thank her for this encouraging and beautiful testimony given to the world.
October 22nd, 2006 at 10:42 pm
I have read the entire book …. then ripped it up.
How anyone can read this book and think that her experiences are in line with the Word of God is very sad.
If you want to know the personality of Jesus, then simply read any of the four gospels. At no point in His earthly ministry did he cause someone’s body to become contorted and twisted, pour multi-colored vials of oil on their body in the middle of the night, cause their body to levitate up off their bed in the air and flip around, have almost epileptic type shakings in His presence, or speak with a strange guttoral voice over which they have no control. But He did cast many devils out of people who behaved in that manner [ Luke 4: 33-37 ... Luke 4: 40-44 ... Luke 8: 26-33 ... Mark 5: 1-15 ... Mark 7: 24-31 ... Mark 9: 14-27 ... Matthew 8: 28-34 ... Matthew 9: 32-35 ... Matthew 15: 21-31].
As for the person here who said: “What if there were no more Bibles?”
Well that will never happen. The Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and in it Jesus said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” [Matthew 24: 35 ... Mark 13: 31 ... Luke 21: 33]
There is only one way to salvation, and according to the Word of God it is through the sinless, spotless Blood of Jesus Christ [Romans 3:25 ... Romans 5: 9 ... Ephesians 1: 7 ... 1 Peter 1: 18-19 ... Revelation 1:5 ... Revelation 5: 9]. You will not receive eternal life through any other source, not even through “good works”. The Word of God itself bears us witness to this when it says: “There is no other name under the heavens by which we can be saved.” [Acts 4: 8-12]
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
October 25th, 2006 at 9:42 am
Dear Brother, This may come as surprise but The Bible is not the word of God, Yes, the Bible contains the words of God, the law, the history and works of God’s people and of Jesus. Jesus referred to the Bible of His day as …”The scriptures” and not ‘the word of God”.. Nowhere did he refer to the written Bible as the “word of God”. This is because Jesus IS THE WORD of God made manifest. That’s why God’s Word can never pass away. But Bibles can be destroyed. They are paper and NOT the Word of God. The only thing God ever wrote down was His Law through Moses and the ten Commandments with His own finger - yet many Christians don’t even know or read the Law of God. (But that’s another topic for another time or blog) - Did you know the Word of God can come to you??? (by His Spirit, this is why Christians are given the gift of the Holy Spirit) We are to have a living, vital relationship with Christ.
You said “if you want to know the personality of Jesus, just read the four gospels” .. well, this will bring one to know about Jesus - but is that only what He wants? Is this only what WE want?? It’s certainly not all I want. Head knowledge?? Remember, the early Christians never had a “Bible”.. we have it the easy way… No, we need to spend time with Him and this is how we get to KNOW Him. Surely this is what He wants. Try it, and perhaps you’ll see that He needs to do some body work on You!! He may need to shake you and cleanse your eyes and body from the contamination of this world. He has done some cleansing and shaking in me and it is powerful. If you or me, or anyone has an encounter with the Living God, our flesh will respond with trembling, shaking, etc,, this exactly what happened to the prophets. No -one can stand in the presence of God without the flesh reacting. There’s just too much glory - that’s why our bodies need to be changed.
You don’t know how anybody can think her experiences are in line with the Word of God? Again, your knowledge is merely cerebral. (In the head only) In the scriptures, each person’s experience is individual, and a consequence of their intimacy with God (or lack of it). Just because Choo Thomas has experienced things you haven’t - does not mean that God is not working in and through her.
Brother Eric, do you anything about the persecution of Christians in many countries where owning a Bible is illegal? It is God’s will that we hear His voice by the Holy Spirit. Even the freedom you have to own a Bible may one day be taken from you - what will you do then?? Will you be able to hear and discern the voice of Jesus by His Spirit?
October 26th, 2006 at 11:51 am
Eric, Many of us feel the same way you do. Thank you for all those scripture references, I will study up on them for the pure joy of the Lord!
There are many other sites which discuss this book. Not all positive that’s for sure! I come to this site to see if I can help or uplift any dear person who also feels the same way I felt! Sick to the heart. How wonderful is our Lord. A sister in Christ, Lisa

Dear People,
The Bible is the Word of God. It is “God Breathed” which is translated from the word “inspired’. To state otherwise is false teaching. Please go the the wonderful christian web site http://www.carm.org you will really like this site!
When you get to the site, on the left side of the page is a list. Scroll down to the bottom and click on What’s New. Then 5th on the chart is this false teaching, click and read!
Wingcross May 5th gave us this site. I love this site and I think you will also. It is so much fun and thrilling to find the answers to so many things about the Lord and His word, also false teachings etc. Please look at it and tell me what you think!
Thanks wingcross, I’ve been to carm almost every day!

Dear Lisa,
It seems you have misunderstood the true Revelation of the true WORD OF GOD. This is not disregarding the Bible or saying that it does not contain the words of God, however how can it it be false teaching to state that Jesus is THE Word of God We have been given a definition of THE WORD OF GOD by God himself.. we cannot argue with God. You have referred us to a web site yet we can be referred to a higher source - the scriptures. John1:1 and verse 14 .. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the WORD WAS GOD… And THE WORD became flesh and dwelt among us ..” He is Alive!! You can seek the Living Word. All of us can. Hallelujah. The Bible contains part of the Words of God but is not THE Word of GOD ! This is what God said.. not me!!
Revelation 19:20 states “And He was clothed in a vesture dipped in blood and His name is called The Word of God.. “Therefore this is not a false teaching. It can only be a false teaching to state otherwise.
The written Word of God is a wonderful testimony of God’s Plan for mankind, also His awesome workings and dealings with people. It is a sacred compilation of His Law and a record of prophecies and fulfillments of prophecies. It is very necessary for us and leads us to the Truth. It was written by people who were hearing from the Living Word, and then writing down what they heard ..
. this LIVING WORD is the hidden manna that we are to seek after and desire. The children of Israel were sustained by the Manna. The Israelites could not survive without manna and this manna was a prophetic picture of Christ. That’s why Jesus said “man cannot live by bread alone but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God…” we have to feed off the Living Word, as well as the written Word. We need the written Word but this alone will not sustain us. We all need a connection and relationship with the Living Word.
Yes, the scriptures are God breathed, they are a written testimony of the LIVING WORD received by the writers. Our mandate as Christians is to receive the Living Word which brings us life. This is why we have so many people arguing over the scriptures. They all have different interpretations because The written Word can be misconstrued, misquoted and misunderstood - Who knows who is right? but We should go to the LIVING WORD and ask Him to give us understanding of what He meant… in other words, what is His heart behind the written words. We are to receive truth and revelation, understanding and wisdom from the spirit of God, which is the Spirit of Christ (again the Living Word)… We are to receive the Word of God from Him … this brings Life.
I believe Choo Thomas is hearing the LIVING WORD OF GOD and submitting herself to Him. Many are being drawn to Jesus through her experiences and bringing their lives to order and submission. She has written a testimony of her experiences and connection with THE WORD OF GOD.
“The Word of God is LIVING and active..” Hebrews 4:12.. what does this mean to you, what should it mean to us?
November 4th, 2006 at 5:49 pm
Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I would like to offer an explanation to help understand the book “Heaven is so Real”. Sister Choo Nam gives a reason for this book being written. She says ” It is to show what it takes to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Beloved, this cannot be taken literally. The Bible says in Proverbs 25 that is God’s Glory to conceal a matter.
God writes many things in a cryptic form and we see this throughout the Bible. Jesus spoke in parables, we know the book of Daniel and Revelation hold many symbols. In fact, every story in the Bible has a hidden meaning. Every time you read about the fig tree, you must know it has another meaning.? The Bible is rich with parables, parallels, and hidden prophetic pictures. This is how God works. So if this book is from God, you should expect a hidden meaning.
When Sister Choo Nam says the book is to show what it takes to enter the Kingdom, we are not to think that we need to have bottles of oil poured on us … or to have our bodies outstretched in the form of a cross, or that God needs us to touch our eyes in a special way thirty times, or that our hands need to dance - this would be pointless and ridiculous without a corresponding work of the Holy Spirit. these thing are a prophetic parallel being displayed through this chosen vessel in order to show us what must take place in a believer’s life as he or she enters the Kingdom of God. The oil she had poured on her speaks clearly of the anointing work of the Spirit, the outstretched and painful identification with the cross shows us that to enter the Kingdom we must too be crucified. The dancing hands speak of the joy we have in the Holy Spirit when He has accomplished His work in us, that is why her ministry ends with the dancing. All this ’strange” work is a picture of the work of Christ in us and God is showing His church through this book what is being accomplished in the Spirit. Dearly Loved Christian, This book is meant to encourage you as you face difficulties, that you may discern and embrace the painful work of death to your flesh!! This process is called “sanctification” .
Many people think that to enter the Kingdom is easy. God wants us to be “Overcomers” and this beloved takes a life time filled with trials and afflictions. We cannot be sanctified at the beginning of our Christian walk. No, we are only justified at the beginning of our salvation but salvation is also a process that continues as we are brought to maturity. All children of God need to realise that He wants us to be “Overcomers” who will ” rule and reign” with Christ. We must grow up to become true sons and daughters and the whole of creation awaits “the manifestation of the Sons of God.” This means a life that carries the person of Christ.!! Awesome! I encourage and exhort you brothers and sisters to continue trusting the Lord no matter what you are going through. Life may seem difficult and you may be wondering where God is. He may be breaking your self sufficiency, He may be exposing hidden motives and bringing you quickly and graciously to the point of surrender. He is bringing you to maturity, so stop being children, and understand God’s work in you because He loves you. !! Even though is is painful, the reward is worth it. Dearly one, Do you want it? He is making His bride Holy and” without Holiness no man will see God.” Sanctification is a part of salvation as is justification and in the end glorification.
God has always spoken in visions, parables, and the like, so don’t take the book. It will only cause confusion and disbelief. If you are struggling with the book, please try and read it again and ask God to help you to see it the way He would like you to, and I believe you will be so blessed as you begin to understand what God is doing in your life.
This should not be difficult for believers to accept if they accept the Bible which is “foolishness to those who are perishing”. You who cannot see this, ask God to open the eyes of your understanding.
Beloved,Choo Nam is your precious sister in Christ, please don’t condemn her. Only unbelievers should misunderstand and scoff at this.
God Bless you

Dear Hope, thank God for such an ecouraging person like you. Its really a blessing to have you here. Please share more of your knowledge and i belive that i’m not the only one who’ve encouraged by you.
This book of sis Choo had really change my view of loving other people. Before this i only have the love for my bro n sis in Christ, but now i started to love the non believers.
And sis Lisa, thanks for concerning the faith of all of us here. I really appreciate your love and care for us. But personally i think that how can this book be a false teaching when it doesn’t destroy our faith in the Lord…and moreover…it calls all of God’s people for repentence and to be prepared for Jesus 2nd coming…and she also ask us to bring the lost souls to Christ…
Isn’t that what a prophet should do instead of telling only ‘nice and sweet’ stories…and the Lord have also said that in the end time a lot of people…young and old will prophecies in His name so i personally think that Jesus tells the secret of Heaven & Hell to sis Choo is not a things that’s out of norm…
I am sorry if i used poor English or my messages can’t be delivered clearly here. And forgive me if my oppinion have hurt anyone. Shalom. Thanks.

Thank you Forora Chan for your encouragement. I really think David’s explanation makes so much sense! Thank you for giving us this insight. It’s really wonderful to know that God loves us so much that He would have this book written to help us understand the difficult times we are passing through are to bring us to maturity and to produce sons and daughters in the Kingdom. What a wonderful God we have!!

I recently read “Heaven Is So Real!” and found it confusing, scary, and disturbing for the following reasons: (1) I was always taught that faith is counted as righteousness and that our good works are as filthy rags in the sight of God. Yet, Choo Thomas’s emphasis on obedience (i.e., good works) leads the Reader to conclude that Jesus’s sacrifice is not a free gift. It is strictly given as the fulfillment of the conditions of obedience and a pure heart to those who have received salvation as a free gift. To what degree are these conditions imposed by the Lord? Sounded like COMPLETE obedience and a 100% PURE HEART in every area of the Christian’s life - 100% of the time! Otherwise, the Believer is denied the atonement made by Jesus on the cross. (2) Choo Thomas also stresses that, amongother things, a “disobedient Christian” is one that does not tithe. And, according to Choo Thomas’s account, disobedient Christians do not enter into the Kingdom. Thus, Old Testament tithing is indicated as a condition for salvation by Choo Thomas. (3) Nowhere in the Bible have I ever read that there are “sinful” and “disobedient” Christians waiting for Judgment outside of the Kingdom. Sounds like pergatory to me, and/or that the blood of Jesus does not cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (4) I was particularly disturbed by Choo Thomas stating that she saw her mother and other loved ones burning in hell for eternity because they had not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior because they had never heard of Jesus. Is this to say that those who have never heard of Jesus would not be judged according to a different standard? And would a God that loves us so much allow this to happen? (5) In all due respect to Choo Thomas, her descriptions of her encounters with Jesus seemed like her having romantic dates with Jesus of which she was the special one that He chose. And if she was in her spiritual body, why would she be required to dress in special attire? And, by the way, I’m very curious about how they killed the fish that they ate. I didn’t know that there was any killing going on in heaven! (6) Accounts of those in hell (from books that I have read, such as 23 Minutes in Hell and Divine Revelation of Hell) depict the damned individual as being isolated from others. Choo states that her mother and other loved ones were together. (7) Choo Thomas writes in her book that Jesus stresses the urgency of writing this book in 1996. Yet, it took her 7 years to get it in print. I’ve written a 300 + page book, and it took me about 2 months. (8) Choo speaks about being on the beach with Jesus for hours, yet comes up empty-handed, in terms of the many details of what they discussed. Why? Jesus supposedly told her to write everything! Well, lets hear everything!!! (9) If God is not a respecter of persons and loves us all the same, then why did Jesus choose to visit Choo Monday after Monday after Monday? That is, why her? She even admitted that Jesus got angry with her for basically asking Him to explain himself. To me, that’s wasn’t an indication of faith on her part but, yet, she was chosen to leave her body no less than 17 times! (10) The emphasis Jesus placed upon Choo’s dancing is something new to me. Is it the heart that pleases Jesus or the dance? And why was this (i.e., Choo’s dancing) so important to stress within her book? In conclusion, should we all assume that Choo Thomas, while seemingly well-intentioned, cannot be believed if one point of her story (such as tithing being a condition for getting into the Kingdom) is inaccurate or should we pick and choose? I hope that my points will generate much discussion, including comments from Choo Thomas’s Pastor. What say you, Charles Stanley, author of Eternal Security?
November 23rd, 2006 at 3:43 am
Joseph,
I read your comments and agree with you. I feel some don’t know the Word of God very well or they could see her book is not in line with the Bible.
Some people could get something out of it since Choo hired a Pastor to fill in with scriptures but some of those are used out of context. Maybe this book will lead some to study and read their Bible.
It is sad that there are so many books like this one on the market. We must be sure that what we read is in line with the Word of God.
I would also like to hear from her Pastor! Lisa

Hope,
the Bible IS the Word of God. As such it stands as a benchmark of truth.
I know that everyone who studies may comes out with differences; this does not mean the the Bible is confusing, it is we that are confused due to our limitations in understanding. How can a human minds understand the deep truth of God? We understand only to certain amount but not it’s entirely.
To say that we ought to go to the WORD OF GOD, JESUS for the truth is another confusing statement, because many had also said that they recieved revelations from the inner prompting of the HS. But many of the statements contradict each other too! So how do we determine whose prompting is right?? It has to be measured against the scriptures.
But as we seeks the scriptures, there are yet still differences, then who is right and who is error? then this is the subject of consistency, does a person’s interepretation of a certain passage goes in consistency with other portion of scriptures. This is where greater study is required! I believe this is how the HS works in us by illuminating us thru HIS WORD. Not some fuzzy feeling u get inside your stomach which u equate as TRUTH.

Dear Palery,
My Bible tells me that Jesus is the Word of God made manifest - Read
John 1;1 - 14 and Revelation 19;20 - If you have any trouble with this - your argument is with God, not me.
Bless you

Thanks Lisa,
Hope, I do not have a problem that Jesus is the Word Incarnate. My problem is with those who claims that Jesus spoke to them thru extra-revelations. How do those people know that that is Jesus.

A few thoughts for Joseph and Palery,
I think that we tend to limit God because we have the Bible. The Bible is a collection of God’s dealings with people. It is a record of the spoken words of God, it contains prophecies and the Law of God. It is Holy and sacred. However, the Bible or canon of scripture was put together by human beings - you can do a historical search yourself and find out about the canon although you will see there are few complications along the way. However I am trusting that the people who read this are mature enough spiritually to grasp what I am trying to convey. My point is this, we have this collection of scriptures called the Bible, but not all Christians had this collection. Many of God’s people down through the ages never had a book they could check everything against - why do we think that we should be so priviledged? The people who were living at the time of the scriptures had to go by faith, prayer and discernment. The people we read about in the Bible operated in this way. Do you think it was easy for the people to believe Isaiah, or Jeremiah, or John the Baptist, or the disciples or even Jesus? They could not check that everything lined up with the Bible. Now the Book of Joel tells that in the last days we would have visions and dreams - therefore this is prophesied about in our Bible and we should know that we are to expect these things. So therefore today if anyone claims anything extra Biblical - should we just throw it out - or should we ask for discernment and seek God in prayer?
Again, you can do you own search on this, but there are many Books quoted in the Bible which cannot be found in the Bible. To give an example, the New Testament Book of Jude (14) has a direct quotation from the Book of Enoch - so do you think the Book of Enoch should be in our Bible? Are we out of order to read the Book of Enoch or are we actually taking a step of faith by believing that this was obviously a Book that was in circulation at that time and therefore accepted as Holy scripture by the early disciples. ? Perhaps God even wants us to read these books? !! The Book of Jasher is also quoted from in the Bible as well as many others - you can download both of these Books and you will find some very interesting reading. I have been very blessed and enlightened by many of these books. The Book of James is wonderful as is the Shepherd of Hermes. As always - you have to be careful with all this and be led by the Holy Spirit or you come face to face with such heresies as the Da vinci code.!!
Many people say that God chose the canon and so they believe only the Bible . However, we know that right back in the beginning of time, satan messed with the words of God and of course Adam and Eve fell because of this - the devil does not want us to know the full truth. Again PRAY - do not be deceived by me or by satan - we ALL have the responsibility to search these things out and to seek God. We are responsible to be diligent. There is alot of deception around yet we surely also don’t want to be found to be in doubt and disbelief if God is giving us a timely revelation via a vision. Be careful of deception but be just as careful of doubt and unbelief!! The Bible is full of visions and dreams - God is a Spirit and works in a spiritual way. How can we NOT believe in visions?? The Bible is a witness of the way God works.
I realise that there are many unusual and even questionable things in the book “Heaven is so real” - perhaps God wants to stir us up!! I would encourage you to write to Choo Thomas, she has put an email contact address at the back of her book. I have sent her a few questions and she has always answered promptly though briefly as I would imagine she is inundated with queries.
Joseph, you asked why she gives so little information after spending so many hours apparently with Jesus, - my response to that would be that even the Bible is very brief, many periods of hundreds of years are sometimes covered in a few sentences. Many of the prophets ministered for over 40 years - yet we do not have all their words. Many things that Jesus did and said are not recorded yet I’m sure you have no problem understanding this for obvious reasons. However I wrote to The author and the reply she gave was that much of the conversation on the beach with Jesus was personal. I also asked her about eating fish in heaven and her response was that Jesus ate fish in his resurrected body.
I did not ask about the significance concerning Mondays but Perhaps Mondays were chosen because Monday is actually a prophetic symbol of the 8th day - this speaks of a time outside of our 7day week when we move into timelessness. The Israelites even celebrated this 8th day with a holy convocation - again you would need to do your own study on this.
Joseph, the Bible speaks much about obedience, God expects this from His children and we as natural parents do not reward disobedient children. Faith is shown by our obedience!! Faith without works is dead!! This does not mean we are saved by our own works - we are saved by faith in the sacrifice of Christ - but we show our faith by our obedience! Please pray and ponder on this thought. My brother. we are all working out our salvation with fear and trembling and yes it is a scary thing. We all need each others encouragement and we cannot overcome without much prayer and self denial. Jesus did His part, He paid the ultimate price, but we have a part as well. We are also to pay a price but this comes in the form of self denial, trials, and faith etc.. what do you think the scripture means that says “Narrow is the way that leads to Life, and few there be that find out” I think that’s pretty scary. -remember the old song… “Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No there’s a cross for every one and there’s a cross for me”
Obedience also shows our gratitude. This is where tithing comes in - and make no mistake, tithing tests our faith and obedience!!
Tithing was instituted befor the giving of the Law at Sinai as we know that Abraham paid tithes to Melchizadeck who was a type or shadow of Jesus - therefore it cannot be an old covenant principle.
You ask why God favours this lady, well why do you think God favoured Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Daniel, and even Mary. All these were “highly favoured” NOT HIGHLY RESPECTED by God as we know that He is not a respector of persons as man is. Again, back to obeience - they were all obedient. So obedience is more important than you realised.!! And how wonderful God values and rewards it!! Let this be an incentive for obedience. I found this very encouraging in Choo’s book. It really helped me to realize how much God values our obedience and faithfulness.
Lisa, a question for you -.. how do you know that she hired a pastor to fill in with scriptures?
I hope these thoughts are helpful.
Blessings!

I have read Choo’s Book, Heaven is so real. I read the part where Jesus told her that George Bush is his chosen man for the last days president. It sounds like Jesus is telling her that George Bush is the last American President. If that is true then the antichrist will come on the scene, and the rapture will happen. If George Bush is not the last American president then the book is a crock. There is no dead babies who were aborted lying in sheds waiting for their mothers. Yes they are waiting for their mothers, but not in a shed lying next to each other. The aborted babies are not babies, but God has given them a normal body, and they each praise God. How can babies praise God? I do not have a problem with Jesus killing fish and eating it in Heaven, because Jesus does like to eat fish. Jesus also showed her the rapture, and in it her granddaughters were all grown up with their hair down to their shoulders, which to me Jesus is telling her the rapture is going to happen in this generation. If it does not, then again the book is a crock. We will have to wait to see if the prophecies in the book about what Jesus told her comes to pass, and we will know if it does or not. Keep your eye in George Bush, because his term is up end of 2008, and if he is not the last president of America, then I believe you have every reason to be very skeptical about that book. Just to let you know Jesus is not 6feet tall. I encounterd him in a supernatural dream know as a night vision in June of last year(2005) and he is not 6 feet tall. I am about 5 ft 6, and Jesus was around my height. Do not forget, back in Jesus day, the average height for a Jew was around 5ft1-5ft 6. Jesus was average in height for his day. Jesus did have a bright face, and when Choo said he looks like a man about 30-40, well I am here to tell you that he does not look like a 40 year old. He has a baby face, and is very young looking. He also has a very smooth face and was not that bearded. Look in Isaiah were it talked about Jesus when it said, He offered his back to those that beat him and he offered his cheek to those that pulled his beard. In other words they pulled most of it out. My mother saw Jesus a few months ago in a dream, as she was struggling with some of the scripture of the bible regarding the understanding of it. She prayed and asked Jesus to help her with the meaning and went to bed. On that night, Jesus appeared to her in a dream to write down the meaning of a certain scripture in Isaiah which she was struggling with. She told me that he is not that tall and that he had a smooth face. When Jesus appeared to me he had an angel standing on his right hand side, who looked about 7 feet tall. How do I know about 7 ft tall, well my brother is 6ft 5, and the angel looked a bit taller than him. The bible tells us to test all spirits. I am still very confused about that book, and guess what? Confussion does not come from God, so you really have to question that book. My email adress is jesusisahoney@yahoo.com.au. I hope you guys find the truth about the book. Jesus also tells her that only the pure hearted and obedient children will enter the kingdom. None of us are perfect, and will not be until we get to Heaven, remember that. But that does not give us an excuse to keep sinning. God bless, Leanne

GOD is so good… He prepared a wonderful place for those people who are willing to give their lives to Jesus and follow Him….. Let us remain faithful to GOD. And be sensitive to the Holy Spirit….

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
I read this book after it was referred to during a church sermon. The Pastor mentioned disobedient christians being in a “barren land”. This distubed me since I knew my life was not 100% on track.
So I rushed at the opportunity to purchase the book which conveniently could be bought in the church lobby after service.
I started reading the book, and immediately had a feeling of unworthiness, condemnation, guilt, even jealousy.
Why did God choose her and not me? Why does He keep calling her “my very special daughter” over and over again?
I was like a daughter whose earthly daddy wasn’t giving her enough attention, Im ashamed to say.
But I thought Jesus didn’t play favourites.
In fact, in the book I was looking for a message to all believers, something like “I love all my beloved children”, or “you are all very special to me” and I kept hoping that Jesus would express more about His love for all His children, not just Choo Nam, I did not see it.
So I tossed the book down in confusion. Was the devil putting thoughts in my head so that I would not complete this God inspired book? What was wrong with me that I could think such thoughts and feel such emotions toward God’s chosen.
I let it go so far, that I was filled with self condemnation that I was so unworthy, and Jesus was right to choose her, because there is nothing good in me anyway.
I did not feel the room shake, as one woman claimed in her testimony, and my life was not transformed.
Rather I was thrown into doubt and self loathing (says a lot about my walk with Christ doesnt it).
In any event, it made me start thinking about getting my life back on track and living in total obedience to God.
So I decided it was God chastening me and painfully and tearfully continued reading the book.
Yes, I shed tears. After every couple chapters. Tears of jealousy, tears of anger at myself. Bitter self loathing tears.
Eventually I accepted the fact that she was a better christian than I was (she was so sold out and obedient to Him, so persistent, as she repetitively said, and He repetitively gave her commendation and praise for) and settled into the first half of the book.
I was reading with complete and utter belief until I read something about Jesus saying something about people who don’t tithe being disobedient christians.
Tithing is something that I have been struggling with for a while, since I don’t believe it’s for new covenant born again church, it was never money but food for the Levitican priesthood, and I have read testimonies of people going bankrupt because the church demanded that they tithe.
People have tithed instead of paying their bills.
Was Jesus saying something different now?
This stopped me in my tracks, did Jesus talk about tithing during his ministry? I’m not sure.
So anyway this made me feel even worse and more confused. Was God saying I was disobedient for not tithing?
The point is, Im a giver, I give money to the poor, I give things to the needy, may not always be 10%, but I give cheerfully.
So because I didn’t give 10% to the pastor to do what he pleases, because I gave to Jesus Himself (needy, naked and poor), was I being disobedient? Will I go to that “barren place”? God forbid!
I got a bit weary and wary after a while, and to date I haven’t got past Chapter 15 where she was saying something about flying like birds.
And I actually feel guilty.
I came online to see if anyone else was questioning the validity of her accounts, since I’m almost afraid to, I would not want to offend God or show my lack of faith by not obeying his instruction.
The thing is, she’s not saying anything to promote the devil, and she is not (as far as I read) contracdicting the Bible.
She truly believes this has happened to her, and who am I to doubt her.
I just wish that (assuming all that she wrote is true), Jesus would have included other folks who love Him just as much as she does.
Because it truly comes over like she is Jesus’ ultimate chosen one and favourite for these end times.
Any words of SPIRIT LED advice would be much appreciated.
I love Him too!
Yours in Christ,
Confused Dejected Daughter

I also watched the video testimony. Why was there a rosary on the Bible? Isn’t that used for prayers to Mary?

Happy New Year to all!
After reading some of the posts here, praying in my heart about it, and a good night’s sleep I realize that I have no need to worry!
The people on the post that believe totally in this book have written over 3000 words in it’s (which I have no time to read).
But I have asked myself, “Is God the author of confusion?”
For people who do not know Jesus, and His loving gentle nature, this book induces a fear and an urgency to STRAIGHTEN UP OR GO TO HELL. Jesus does not want us to receive and serve Him in fear, but in love, and in true repentance out of a broken and contrite heart. He loves us with such a gentle kind sweet love. All of us, sinner and saint, He loves us all the same and He wants more than anything for us to reciprocate that love to Him and to have a relationship with Him.
This book depicts Jesus as a rigid dictator. “You must do this dance, this way, seven times”. “You must stop praying, then dance, then speak in tongues .. the platform is yours”.”You must go to the church early and talk to the pastor and TELL him you are going on the platform to dance” ????
It just doesn’t sit right with me at all.
Any true Christian who knows the loving nature of God will sense by His spirit that something is wrong here.
As soon as I got into this book warning signals went off in my head!
Is it because I was such a sinner that demons didnt want me to read it? No!
I am a born again spirit filled daughter of God. I live to please Him. I love Him, I read His word, and I listen for His voice, the voice of His Holy Spirit.
That’s why I even bought the book! To get even closer to Him.
But what emotions did this book evoke? Love? Encouragement? Intimacy with God? Was I driven to get even closer to Jesus?
No! It invoked FEAR, DOUBT, CONFUSION, ANXIETY, SELF CONDEMNATION, SELF LOATHING, QUESTIONING MY VERY SALVATION.
I have tested the spirit behind this book, and I have found that although the dear sister is very sincere, Im afraid there are some things she has said that are very sincerely wrong.
I believe that she truly believes she met with Jesus.
But the Jesus she’s talking to, doesn’t sound like that Jesus I know.
And in Him there is no changing.
It’s plain and simple. I do not have to quote scripture or write 3,000 words or more to defend my position.
The Spirit of God has testified in my spirit that this book contains false teachings of who Jesus really is.
And if who He is is brought into question, how can I believe what He allegedly says in this book??
When she was rebuked in the church, the pastor must have had good reason. Is good not a God of order?
When she mentioned this lengthy gruesome “preparation” work in her body where parts of her anatomy would be “locked” then “unlocked”. That’s so scary. That sounds like demonic possession to me.
And that violent shaking??? Where in scripture was any prophet “prepared for God’s work” by being violently shaken in their body for 2 hours??!!
Has any other end time prophet/prophetess experienced this same type of “preparation”? Or is it just for Jesus’ “sweetheart” Choo Nam? If He did it to her, he must of done it to some other chosen people that He is using for end time revival.
Jesus Himself, in preparation for His ministry FASTED and PRAYED for 40 days and nights so that he could stand the attacks of the enemy.
So why does she have to be physically “prepared” (tormented) for a battle that is spiritual?
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
This is disturbing.
In fact, the only mention of shaking in scripture is when demons were exorcised.
They left violently, the guy with the epileptic seizures who became calm after the demons left him.
Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and everything that can be DRIVEN OUT will be DRIVEN OUT.
Is this a new Jesus?
And what demon in it’s right mind would even come close to the glory of the Messiah when He is communicating with any chosen vessel??
The book itself may sound heavenly, a little too heavenly to be true. I am sure if I continue to read it, alarms will continue to go off in my head.
That is all I need. Because I know that I am saved, I know I am blood washed, santified, my sins are forgiven and I am filled with the Spirit of God.
As such, concerning this I can judge.
Did you read this? Allegedly Jesus is quoted as telling her:-
“Too often people blame every bad thing that happens on Satan. If Rachel’s death were Satan’s will, My name would never have been brought up before she died.
…. Each life has a special purpose in this world. That is why I use some people in special ways. So, don’t think that because someone is a faithful Christian that they will live long and perfect lives on earth.
If I have to take one life in order to save another, I will do so.”
Is this Jesus??
“As I said before, I will have to take many lives before I return.
Among them will be many Christans.
Salvation is that important to Me. ”
So now Jesus is murdering non christians as well as christians for His glory? I wonder what happened to His promise that he would give us life and life more abundantly??
Then this alleged Jesus contradicts himself right afterwards by saying “But always remember that I never want to see anyone perish” ??? (Page 192)
This book really scares me.
This is not the Jesus I know, and certainly not the loving, patient Jesus of which the Bible speaks .
In fact, I get the willies just writing about it.
So, at the end of it all, I will continue to feed myself the Word of Life, try my best to work out my salvation with fear and trembling, be like one of the wise virgins; vigilant and sober.
I would love to see a glimpse of heaven to encourage on my earthly walk, but it’s not necessary.
Blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe. I walk by faith and not by sight.
I know that He has gone to prepare a place for me, and He will come again to take me with Him.
I cannot condemn this sister, I will not say that she is a tool of Satan.
The book is very sincere. Conversely, you may look at it as one of the most wonderful crafts of deception ever thought up by the enemy.
Very subtle in its intonation that Jesus is an angry judemental dictator (except of course for end time prophetess Choo Nam, thank God, what would we do had she not meet with the “Lord” (since he never refers to himself as “saviour” or “Jesus” or “Messiah”)), taking advantage of the gulliblity of some people and the lack of discernment of others.
I just truly pray to God that my heart is always right before Him so that I can always discern truth from error, so I would not end up giving up the liberty He died for so that I can live, for the shackles and chains of a sentence of serving him out of fear.
I will always choose, and encourage others to choose, servitude out of love for Jesus Christ, not servitude out of fear.
Yours in Christ,
Yaa

Dear Yaa,
You quote that you will work out your salvation with fear and trembling, yet you condemn the message in the book because it causes you fear and trembling. The Jesus you know is sweet and gently, the lamb but know you not that He is coming back as the Judge and not the gently lamb? He is serious about His return and hell are you? He has shown His love - there is no need for condemnation if you are His. This book has done the opposit for me. Made me realise how much Godloves His children yet how much he values obedience and faithfulness. It has helped m and I praise God for it.
Blessings on the New year !!

Hi!
I have probably been one of the most gullible people…..I read the book within 2 days and couldn’t put it down! It changed my life! BUT…..looking back now and even then…something didn’t feel right. Something told me that all is not there, but I so desperately wanted to believe everything, that I fell into the trap! I now even feel guilty for distributing the book so freely..Father please forgive me…
The Lord has worked with me lately..and the only reason I went back to the book and read it again (this time according to the Word) was because of the fact that I came to realise that according to scripture, the Rapture does not exist:
“IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Mat 24:29
The following verses is what pretribulationists grab onto for the rapture:
30: “Then the sign of the Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory”
31: “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other”
But reading this in context, it clearly points to the 2nd coming of the Lord AFTER the tribulation! Jesus is coming back, once more according to scriptures, NOT TWICE more!
When I came to this belief, I immediately recognised the vision of Choo, and realised that according to scripture her vision is not real because it’s not going to happen! I WAS DEVESTATED - I sooo badly wanted to believe the book, but THANK YOU LORD - You opened up my eyes….and I prefer to live according to Your word and not the Word of man. Please forgive me..
The vision she had of Jesus where he was in church holding up the book while multitudes of people ran to Him because of the HISR book, also disturbed me…Why didn’t Jesus hold up the BIBLE - His Word was good enough for 2000 years, why suddenly do we need anything extra??
Another thing that disturbed me was the excitement about Christmas that Jesus had - nothing is said about Christmas in the Word, why would Jesus dress up for this occasion?? The 25th is not even the Lord Jesus’ real birthday…Why would he dress up celebrating something that is not biblical, on the wrong date - man’s date…Just doesn’t make sense.
The fact that God chose George W. Bush doesn’t sit well with me either..don’t know why..but, I can’t place that uneasy feeling!
As far as the shaking goes…Can’t believe that my God of Love would put HIs children through so much torture - and now she always have to sway from side to side because of the Holy Spirit making her stomach tight! I have got the Holy Spirit in me and my stomach ain’t tight…?
Lord, forgive me if I’m wrong, but I want to follow you and no one else..!The only thing I have learned out of this whole thing is that God wants us to read HIS WORD AND NOT THE WORD OF MAN! We are in the last days and can be easily confused. Lets stick to the Bible - at least thats what I’m gonna do!
Yours in Christ Jesus

Hope,
I respect your opinion.
However, I’ve read your contributions to this post and I realized that you are deliberately not choosing to see the underlying deception of this book, or perhaps cannot.
The fear and trembling of which the Bible speaks refers to being sober and vigilant so as not to be deceived and wayward till the coming of Christ.
But the fear that I felt from this book was different, it was a fear that I had been doing things wrong even where I felt I was being obedient.
Not even the fear of hell, but fear that I missed something about who God really is.
A lot of people when they read this book fear going to hell.
That has never been the spirit behind the Gospel of Christ.
His Gospel has always been “For God so LOVED the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on Him should NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE”
What brings us to repentance Hope? Is it fear? Or is it supposed to be Godly sorrow for the things we have done.
What has God given us? A spirit of fear? Or a spirit of POWER, of LOVE and a strong MIND?
But the spirit behind this book, more than anything, although, sticking some truth in it about salvation, makes the reader feel FEAR of going to HELL.
In fact, it removes the focus from saving souls to fighting the devil full time. This is deception.
In the end her church strategy was focussed to much on rebuking the devil.
God gives us clear instructions on how to deal with the devil. Resist him and he will flee, put on the full armour of God. Rebuke him. We don’t have to come up with strategies to defend ourselves against the enemy we already have them.
Our focus and strategies should always be saving souls to Christ out of love, not out of fear of hell fire.
Fear of the living God, for He is mighty and the creator of all things. The difference is your focus.
If I serve God because I am afraid of going to hell, the my focus will always be on myself and the consequences of disobedience, but if I serve him out of love my focus will be on Him and pleasing Him.
This book and her teachings sound like the foundation for a lot of future false doctrine that would come out in her church. Maybe that’s why it has to sound so credible now.
You said something about pastors sanctioning this book? Then I fear for them.
100 pastors could sanction this book and I would still disagree because a pastor is just a man and men fail, especially pastors as you well know. My focus is never on man.
Didn’t the Bible also say something about the very elect being deceived???
God help us, the only thing that will save us in these last days is the Word of God and the discernment of his Holy Spirit!
Another thing, she sways uncontrollably back and forth otherwise her stomach clenches, and she defies the order of her church. Is not one of the fruits of the spirit of God SELF CONTROL?
Which prophet, end time or otherwise has had such fruits that are contrary to what God has been doing for thousands of years?
And if it is a “new thing” then why only to her, and not to the other “chosen few”. For He also said that many are called but few are chosen. Few .. not ONE.
Anyone who knows Jesus would know that this is not Him.
Being a judge is a position and function, not a personality. He has to judge us, but it will hurt Him just as much that some of us will be condemned to hell.
Because He is touched by all our infirmities, and He wished that none should die the second death, but that all should come to repentance, so that on that day of judgement we will enter into the place that He has prepared for us.
It sounds like you serve God out of fear of judgement and hell fire. Perhaps you should strive as I do, for the agape love of God, which casts out all fear.
Until then, you would never stop judging and inferring that my, and others salvation isn’t sure, and that people who don’t agree with you about this book are blind, and not as wise as you. Be careful of your motives.
Subtle, crafty, coy and deceptive are all works of the enemy, even in the true church.

Dear Yaa
I can just stand behind you 100%. What worried me as well was the fact that all my family and friends who are Christians, and that love the Lord with all their hearts and walk a day to day path with Him, was TERRIFIED. All of them said that:”according to the book I’m not a believer, I am going to hell” They all felt lonely as if their relationship with the Lord was now not good enough. They felt that they are destined for hell - and that scared me. My sister specifically asked me to start praying for her after the book, that she wants to go to heaven because of Jesus Christ and NOT because of the sudden fear of hell that was now portraying itself.
The Bible tells us that we can be sure of our salvation - yet, according to Choo you cannot be sure until the very end.
January 9th, 2007 at 2:16 am
From Choo Thomas’ website (www.choothomas.com):
A Message From Choo Thomas Regarding “Heaven is so Real”
“Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus.
Heaven is so Real is our Lord Jesus’ end time book. He only used my body to write this book. He wants all believers and unbelievers to read it and prepare for His coming. He said, He is giving people a chance to know what it takes to enter His Kingdom through this book.
Remember, none of our salvations are secure until the end.
We must do our best while we have a chance.”
According to Choo, Jesus wants people to know what it takes to enter His Kingdom through HISR - why is the Bible then even necessary? And according to her, none of our salvations are secure until the very end. But according to scripture we can be certain of our salvation - I am not going to allow ANYBODY to make me think otherwise!
“For God has not given us a spirtit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim 1:7
“And he brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? So they said: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and YOU WILL BE SAVED, you and your household” Acts 16:30-31
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Fathers’ hand.” John 10:27-28
“Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me, HAS EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death into Life” John 5:24
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children God, to those who believe in His Name” John 1:12
“…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED!” Rom 10:9

Nhen,
Yes! Yes! and Yes!! Is all my spirit is saying right now.
Thank you for reminding me of every scripture that ensures my salvation as I continue to walk in obedience to Christ.
I am certain that we can come up with so many more that contradicts the falsehoods that this sister has put in her book.
How your friends and family feel is exactly how I felt; ungodly fear.
I am truly sorry for your sister. I hope she can work through the damage that book has done as you continue to pray for and with her.
Thanks again and may God continue to reveal the truth of the gospel of Christ to you and yours in these last days.
Yours in Christ,
Yaa
January 17th, 2007 at 3:03 pm
Dear Yaa and Nhen,
I cannot understand why this book has caused you such fear. If you belong to God and know His Love, why are you so disturbed? This book should only bring fear to the disobedient. God has not given us a spirit of fear. My children need not fear me when they are obedient but if they continue to ignore me after being confronted in a loving manner, should they not receive a stern rebuke and warning from me? If their lives are in danger because of their willful ways - should I stand calmly and “lovingly” by saying “I love you dear, now please obey I love you”… they obviously have no regard for my love or my words.
What do you think the message of Noah was in his day??..was it “God loves you all so much, He will never do anything to hurt you…” or do you think it might have been something more like “Repent or God’s judgement is coming, destruction is nearly upon you, turn from your wicked ways or perish!!” Surely this shows God’s love!!!??? This book is meant to arouse the sleeping christian and turn the wicked to repentance. Yes, the goodness of God should lead people to repentance - but we know that many have not responded to His goodness (or all would be saved by now) … as you know, the world is full of people who do not fear God or take Him seriously. If you were to write a book to the disobedient what would you write??????
Do I serve God out of a fear that He will throw me into Hell if I don’t? No, because I trust Him concerning my salvation and so should you. I believe we obey Him out of Love and not fear. Why has this book unsettled your faith?? I do believe we need to have a holy fear of God for the following scriptures are surely designed to
“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but rather FEAR Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell”
“FEAR God and keep His commandmentments, for this is the whole DUTY of man”
“It is a FEARFUL thing to fall into the hands of the Living God”..
“Our God is a consuming FIRE..”
“Who is this ,terrible in majesty, who sits in light unapproachable, between the fiery cherubim”
Yes, I do fear God and so should we all. Yet you think this book is unlike the Bible? Which Bible have you been reading. Sounds to me like you take a scissors and cut out the parts you don’t like? Let me quote something frightening from Ezekiel 38..
“..for in my jealously and wrath have I spoken ..the fish of the sea, beasts of the field, all creeping things, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall SHAKE at my presence…I will bring judgement with pestilence and bloodshed,,, thus I will magnify myself and sanctify myself and I will be known in the eyes of the natiions, Then they shall know that I am the Lord..”
Let the book “Heaven is so real”" do it’s job… it is another loving warning from our Loving God. Yes we have the Bible but the Bible is still being written. (By our lives) We are completing the Book of Acts.. we are probably in chapter 65 by now!! There may be only one chapter left !!. Hallelujah, MARANATHA!!
January 17th, 2007 at 7:51 pm
Dear Hope
Thanx for your reply. I merely wanted to stress the fact that according to Choo you can never be certain of your salvation - yet the Bible clearly tells us that we can. I prefer to measure my faith according the the Word of God and Jesus Christ himself - and I still have alot to learn! But the only thing I wanted to highlight, was the fact that this book opened up a spirit of fear, not to only me, but to ALOT of children of Jesus. According to you these people are then disobient….well, well done if you are obedient 100% (and I mean that with all the sincerity in the world)Why then did Jesus die for us on the cross?? NO ONE IS WORTHY BUT BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
I will continue to measure myself to the Living Jesus - not to man’s words or opinions.
Take care

Hope,
Please cut the crap. If you can’t see the deception in this book that I feel sorry for you because you are walking a very blind walk in Christ. If you cannot see how it contradicts scripture, and if it does not invoke a caution in you against it, then you are obviously not spiritually mature and follow the dead letter.
Suit yourself. But don’t try to feed us your superficial nonsense hiding behind scripture.
January 23rd, 2007 at 9:34 am
Hope,
All this old testament scripture you’re using to show God in one aspect, a god of wrath anger and judgement would see to non christians who don’t know Jesus, or young christians in the faith. Please don’t try to sell your old covenant service by fear false doctrine. Keep it to yourself.
Over and over again people here have raised valid questions about things written in this book and you have addressed none seriously. You have been shown clearly how things she says contradicts the Bible, and yet you hold on to this nonsense. Your choice. Continue to walk in blindness. Im not surprised.

Yaa,I have been reading your entries with great interest. I have grown weary of Hopes comments. We have had some very wise and wonderful believers on this site, I am happy to meet you here. A sister in Christ, Lisa

Hi guys!
Look what I found in Luke last night….when I read it I immediately recognised all these Rapture prophets appearing everywhere….
And He said:” Take heed that you not be deceived. For many willl come in My name, saying,’I am He’ and, ‘The time has drawn near’ Therefore do not go after them. Luke 20:8
So Jesus clearly states if people say that the time has drawn near, we are not to follow them.
I found this interesting as this was to me the main message in Choo’s book.

Hi Nhen,
I am intrigued that you don’t believe in a rapture at all. I have been teaching bible prophecy for over 9 years. I was raised on the rapture teaching and it never occurred to me that it might be wrong or rather the timing of it may be in the wrong place until I had to teach it myself.
I began in earnest searching for the truth, and the Lord has since led me on a journey to study our jewish roots, the prophets and the Feasts of the Lord. Wow, were my eyes opened!
In Lev. 23, we see the Lord set forth 7 holy days that Israel is to keep. As Rabbi Michael Rood says, they are 7 holidays that are Gods, they belong to him…his terms….his invitation….These meetings were called “holy convocations†a meeting between God and man for holy purposes. The timing of each feast was orchestrated by God. Each part of a comprehensive whole! All together they tell a story!
The Lord has set within the “Feasts of the Lord,†shadow pictures of Christ’s entire redemptive career. These “shadow pictures” prophetically point to the Messiah of Israel. These feasts outline the work of Jesus from Calvary to the Messianic Kingdom. We must understand these “shadow pictures†first before we can see Revelation in the right light.
If the Pre-tribulation rapture is wrong, how many hearts in the church would grow cold knowing that we have entered into the tribulation and he hasn’t shown up? Personally, I teach Revelation showing the pre-trib, mid-trib and no trib teachings. I have found through extensive study of the Feasts of the Lord that the mid-trib rapture is supported . I would rather everyone knew the different teachings so we are not caught unaware.
The first four Feasts are in the Spring: Pseach (Passover), Feast of Unleavened Bread, Shirat Hoamer (First Fruits), and Shavuot (Feast of Weeks/Pentecost). Yeshua (Jesus) fufilled these feasts to the minutest detail. He was the Passover lamb (1st feast day) who died without sin, and was the first fruit of the resurrection (3rd feast day). And at the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost – the early harvest), the coming of the Holy Spirit similar to the first Pentecost in Exodus (the latter harvest). Yeshua fulfilled these to the detail so I expect him to fulfill the fall feasts to the very detail.
The fall feasts have three holy days: Rosh Hashana (blowing of the trumpets), Yom Kippur (day of atonement), and Sukkot (the festival of the future messianic period). It is these three feasts that mark THE LAST DAYS….the return of the Messiah, the Tribulation, and the 1,000 year reign of Christ. I will speak mostly about Rosh Hashana.
Rosh Hashana is the “Blowing of Trumpets.” It is the only holy day that there is no set date. In fact, no man knows the exact day or hour that it will be just as Yeshua said no man knows the day or the hour. For an entire month before Rosh Hashanah, in the month of Elul, the trumpets are blown every day and the priests declare “You who are asleep, wakeup! You who are in a trance, arise! Search your doings and repent; Remember your creator!
This is the ceremony of Rosh Hashana. Two witnesses must go out to the fields and check to see if the harvest is ripe. There must also be the sighting of a new moon. If the harvest is ripe and the new moon is sighted, the two witnesses will ascend to the temple mount and give their testimony to the Cohen Gadol (High Priest). After they give their testimony, and have testified to the harvest being ripe, the Cohen Gadol reaches for THE Great Trump (shofar) and blows it. A bonfire would be lit and you would hear shofars across the county and see the bonfires light up throughout the countryside declaring that the greatest and most fearsome days of awe were upon them. This is a rehearsal of the time of Jacob’s trouble/tribulation!
When did Yeshua say that he would return?
“But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL FROM THE SKY, AND THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Now learn parable from the fig tree; when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. “MT 24:29-33
When does this happen in Revelation? I happens in Chapter 6 at the sixth seal when the time of Jacobs trouble is well under way. “A Great Trumpet†should be translated as “THE great trumpet since it is the definite article! That means it must be the LAST ONE! Let’s look at the sixth seal of Revelation:
“ I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.†Rev 6:12-13
Yeshua says that until the above sign happens, he is not returning. Do you see the problem with the church teaching that we are raptured up before it happens? By the sixth seal, The Tribulation is already into full swing: The Anti-Christ has appeared, war, famine and death. We see the Martys’ underneath the altar in heaven crying out. Then comes the 6th seal where the sun is darkened and moon turns to blood. There is also the same reference to the fig tree as there is in Mathew 24.
Pre-Tribulation Rapture teaches that the church will go up before the time of the Tribulation. In Revelation 4:1, John hears “the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.†They interpret this to be the last trumpet of 1 Thess 4:16-17 which says:
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.â€
Rev 4:1 is not THE final trumpet! In Revelation 11 we see the story of the two witnesses. The come to the earth and finish their testimony. They had been sent to testify to the earth and report to God that the final harvest is ready. We see the beast of the abyss make war with the two witnesses and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city for 3 ½ days. After this the breath of God will come into them and they heard a voice in heaven say, “Come up here.†There is a great earthquake, then THE SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED!! (This is the final trump). This is when the Lord has taken back the title deed to earth and when “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.†Rev 11:15
We see that rehearsal for Rosh Hashana is fulfilled here in the two witnesses as they ascend to the throne and they give their testimony and the Cohen Gadol blows the final trumpet.
It goes on to say in Rev 11:18, “And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and THE TIME CAME FOR THE DEAD TO BE JUDGED, AND THE TIME TO REWARD YOUR BOND-SERVANTS THE PROPHETS AND THE SAINTS AND THOSE WHO FEAR YOUR NAME, THE SMALL AND THE GREAT, AND TO DESTROY THOSE WHO DESTROY THE EARTH.â€
Revelation 10:7 says this, “but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel. (there are seven angels with seven trumpets) When he is about to sound, then THE MYSTERY OF GOD IS FINISHED, as he preached to His servants the prophets.
What is the mystery? The catching away of the saints, when mortality puts on immortality. It is when our redemption is complete. This is where we go before the Lord to the BEMA judgment seat (the ‘bema’ seat is the place athletes would go to get their reward in Olympic games). Here is where the Church is definitely in heaven with the Lord. We are being rewarded/judged. The two-witnesses have ascended to heaven and the 7th (THE FINAL TRUMPET) is blown.
This mystery of God is finished after the rapture of the two witnesses at the end of the first half of the tribulation (3 ½ years into it).
We are in heaven through the 2nd half of the 7 years of tribulation. Preparing for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Chapter 19 WHICH TAKES PLACE IN HEAVEN. It is after this marriage ceremony that the Lord will return on a white horse with the armies of heaven.
“Rabbi John Michael Rood says, “If the church doesn’t go back to the ancient paths and understand the picture God laid out for us, we will not understand, and look for the wrong picture of the Messiah.â€
I heard a prominent preacher last week say on Television, the Lord is coming! He will probably come tomorrow! I know that he loves the Lord and means well but he doesn’t look beyond the rapture teaching. Paul said:
“Now we request you, brethren with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy come first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction., who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 2 Thess 2:1-4.
Here is a pre-requisite for the rapture. He WILL NOT COME UNLESS…..the antichrist has come and exalted himself. Something to think about!
In conclusion, the Feasts of the Lord, i.e. the Fall Feasts support a mid-tribulation rapture! Something for you to chew on!
Blessings! Melody

Melody,
Thanx for the explanation - I’m going to print it out and study the things that you’ve mentioned. Maybe I wasn’t specific enough, sorry….I don’t believe (like you do) in a pretribulation rapture. The Bible is very clear about that. It’s just that when people (and me too) talk about the rapture, I just immediately assume it’s the pretrib….and that I don’t agree with.
I agree with you 100% that the antichrist will first have to come and exalt himself before the Lord comes. The Bible is clear about that.
There is going to be a rapture…..but not before the tribulation like I was taught and like Choo Thomas and Shelby Corbitt (that wrote the book 2007 - He is Coming) wants us to believe.
Thanx for your input - I am hungry for the word of God, to know more and to be ready for His coming!
Yours in Christ

Nhen,
Just to restate, I DO NOT believe in a pre-tribulation rapture (meaning that Yeshua will come for us before the time of the tribulation. It is not scripturally sound. This teaching started in 1830 with the dispensationalist movement. It was popularized again in the 1970’s by proponents of the premilleniallist and in particular the dispensationalist interpretations of scripture. I DO BELIEVE in a mid-tribulation rapture (a catching away around the middle of the tribulation) based upon scripture and the Feasts of the Lord.
The best source for understanding the Feasts of the Lord is through Michael John Rood. His Website: http://www.michaelrood.com
He offers a complete series on the Feasts of the Lord…..very thorough (DVD, CD and Cassette). There are many hours of material that you’ll find yourself listening to over and over again.
Another fabulous source: The Feasts of the Lord by Kevin Howard and Marvin Rosenthal. This has lots of pictures, Hebrew calendar etc to help understand how our Messiah fulfilled them.
It is my prayer that the church wake up and become like the Berean’s who after listening to Paul would search the scriptures thoroughly to see if it were true.

Hi Melody
It seems that we are on the same page - will check out those sources, which seems quite fascinating! I DO NOT believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture either….God has opened my eyes on that one. Now with His help I will study the Mid Tribulation information you have given.
Thanx

A note first to Melody, Lisa and Taa,
Melody, thank you for sharing your knowledge, what a feast you have given us!(pun intentional)
Lisa, for you and others that are weary of my comments, you have the freedom to read or not to read!
Taa, I think your last comments were unsanctified and not in the spirit of Christ, but I don’t hold it against you, (unfortunately, you are a representative of Christ and I think you need to be remeinded that your words are going out as a witness to the world) but I believe you are sincere but still misguided and that you do not understand the power of God at work withi us. I am quite surprised that no one on this blog corrected you and even more surprised that Lisa endorsed your comments since she once wrote that this blog was for the glory of God. Also Taa, you said that I had not addresses some important issues, please clarify so I can oblige. Lastly, you told me to cut the “crap”… what part, the part from Isaiah, or the book of Jeremiah, … you use strong language and I think this is uncalled for and unnecessary.
I think that more important than the timing of the feast (ie,pre-trib, mid or post etc) is the question “am I ready..” The feast was a call to repentance and to Holiness, these were days of awe, very serious days of heart searching and repentance. These days ushered in the Great day of Atonement and this signifies or symbolises the Day of Judgement. We are now living in the days just prior to the Great Day of Atonement therefore we are living in the time of the the feast of trumpets prophetically and this therefore means that we are to be doing business with God. Are our lives in order, are we hearing from God? Are we crying out to Him to show us if anything is displeasing to Him, are we Hearing His voice and Obeying? Are we hearing the trumpet (shofar) in the Spirit?
Do not accept the fatal delusion that God does not require obedience. No, I don’t believe we can be perfect but Jesus dies and overcame so that we can come before the throne to obtain Grace. (Read Hebrews 4 ) Grace means “His overcoming power given freely to us”. No ‘greasy grace” please!! Grace is not a pass word for sin. “To Him who overcomes,….”

Hope,
You made me laugh. I am a real person and me telling you to cut the crap is probably something a lot of people on this thread wanted to tell you but couldn’t.
I don’t call crap caviar.
At least I was honest enough to call out your error and condescension which you’re still trying to hide by deliberately calling me TAA.
Which by the way I found quite funny.
In any event, you have strayed from the initial point, which was the book that you claimed to be inspired by God in spite of ongoing proof that should raise some questions in you at least, however you choose to continue in folly.
To each his own I guess.
February 16th, 2007 at 10:26 am
Lisa,
I’ve also read your contribtions, great to have you here as well. I’ve observed your discerning spirit and it’s help me a lot on the issue of this book
Thanks much
February 16th, 2007 at 2:55 pm
Yaa, apologies for the mistaken spelling, it’s an unfamiliar name in my culture, I don’t even know if it’s masculine or feminine, in other words I don’t even know if you’re a male or female. !!! Keep on responding, because your responses are showing your unsanctified character. I have never claimed the book was inspired by God..
I hope for your sake you are right concerning the book…. but you have no”proof” and neither do I but I fear for you. I fear for you.
February 17th, 2007 at 10:09 am
YAA, thank you for the kind words. How much we love the Lord God and His Son Jesus. I strive to be led by His Holy Spirit.
Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!
February 17th, 2007 at 10:39 am
Hope, What! Cut the —-! You never claimed this book was inspired by God?? Better go back and read your May 23rd contribution.
February 19th, 2007 at 3:13 pm
Yaa, I don’t have to go back and read my contribution, I know what I wrote. Best you go back and see if you can find the word “inspired” because I know you won’t..I believe the book is a true account of what Choo Nam experienced and I continue to believe the book is a call to repentance, obedience and holiness.. It has encourage and challenged many.
I find it sad yet amusing how you find someone who agrees with you and then tell them they have “discernment”…
Lisa, if you think Yaa is hearing from God then it’s no wonder you can’t hear the voice of Jesus through this book.
We are representatives and ambassadors for Christ and they will know we are Christians by our Love for one another.
No need for the attitudes! We are sharing opinions.
February 20th, 2007 at 6:05 pm
Oops! saw the bad language and presumed it was from Yaa - neither of you seem to care in the least about the shame you bring to the name of our Lord. You can learn alot from Choo Thomas -
February 21st, 2007 at 7:55 am
I read the book HEAVEN IS SO REAL recently and have read with interest many of the comments on this thread. I was shaken by the book and deeply moved by the message and the heart of God to extend such Grace.
I would like to say something ater reading the last few entries on this thread. “HOPE, why are you wasting your time?” - The writer,Choo Nam said that many would not accept the book, and she gives the reason why.
You who oppose the message are the very ones the book is written for. You need to question yourselves and not the book.
February 26th, 2007 at 1:04 pm
Keith, Yes, I know what the writer said about those who reject the book. However, I write because I have a burden to see my brothers and sisters come to a right understanding concerning “Obedience” and I will continue to respond until God takes that burden away from my heart.
Many of Christians today have a wrong understanding of the Grace and The Law. We were taught that the Law is the Old Covenant and we today are under the New Covenant, therefore we reject and abandon the Law of God. This is a deception and this leads to alot of confusion.Jesus himself said that not one jot or tittle would be removed from the Law until all was fulfilled. We were then taught that all was fulfilled at Calvary but this is not the case. Yes, Jesus uttered ‘it is finished”… what was finished? His death, His sacrifice for sin, but not the Law of God. Melody has shown you very aptly that not all has been fulfilled. The feasts which were brought in under the old covenant have NOT yet been prophetically fulfilled as we still await the fulfillment of the fall feasts and holy days ie. feast of ‘Trumpets’(return of Christ) Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement or Judgedment) and of course “Tabernacles” which is prophetically fulfilled in the Messianic Age or Millenium.
Yaa, your entry on Jan 23 shows your lack of understanding on this point. The Law of God is forever settled in Heaven, if God’s Law does not stand then we can all commit murder and adultery without any consequences from God ….
Jesus never set us free from the Law - He set us free from the penalty of the Law, which was death. He took our place. If you are caught speeding and the officer lets you off one week and then catches you speeding again the next week, what do you think he would say to you? Perhaps something like this,”I let you off the first time but that doesn’t mean you are free to break the Law, No, you should have been more careful to
obey it out of gratitude “..
Yes we do not have to do all the ceremonial washings etc,, and sacrifices contained in the Law as these were shadows fulfilled Christ. These Laws were nver contained in the Ark of the covenant but rested outside the ark of the Covenant. The 10 commandments were placed inside. If you think this is no longer applicable to us, then why do you think that Jesus is called our “High Priest”? Apriest ministers in a temple (the true one being in Heaven) and if you think that this is not true then read the whole book of Hebrews. If you still think the 10 commandmentd are not important then why do you think the Book of Revelation mentions that ..”the heavens were opened and the Ark of His covenant was seen…???” The ark was only a house or container for the sacred 10 commandments
It is very important that you answer these questions for yourself and see that the Law of God is important still today. Jesus expects obedience from us and we must all overcome sin. This is not possible by ourselves but when we are tempted to sin the Bible tells us that we com to Jesus to find Grace - Grace for what brothers and sisters????Grace to OVERCOME SIN!!!!! -we are told this involves a fight. If your salvation is precious to you - if Jesus sacrifice means something to you, don’t just sit back and think it’s all been done. We are told to overdome PLEASe read the book of Revelation in this regard. God does not expect perfection in your flesh or of your own will power - this is not possible for any of us… but He will see when your sin breaks your own heart, He will see when you are repentant and He will forgive you if you come to Christ. We are not saved IN our sins but FROM our sins I hope this helps you understand my concerns more.
Blessings
Hope

my dearest brothers and sisters in the LOrd Jesus Christ,
While I was resding at your messages or on your written letters to the author of Heaven is so REal, some of you wrote hurting words and you made this a big issue on your parts. you even made it a broad discussion and it obviously led you to a debate. It was hurting on my part observing such things. We, Christians, God’s children are being against each other becuase of this things or other more things. I don’t know all about you my brethren but this I want to remind you: we, Christians-Jesus’ followers are in a continuos battle, between good and evil. I agree with that person who wrote deceptions is one of Satan’s favorite weapon against us. It’s written “open rebuke is better than sacred love”-it’s true. But there are instances wherein we should put love and care in pour rebuke. Let’s not push our sister or brother who commits a mistake in a situation wherein he/she will be disappointed and cause them to turn back. We have our own weaknesses. And I thank God because the reason why He sent His Spirit to be with us forever(John 14) is that Somenone will guide us, who lead us, who will rebuke us, who will remind us. Brothers and sisters-we are not the enemies. We are God’s living testimonies. In every judging, in evey writings,in every part of our lives,we have Christ who became our example in living a Godly life. We are on a race. Each one of us have to work out our salvation. Let us not sell our birth right to anyone or anything like Esau did. Remember, you are the Child of the King. Live like Christ-in every words, every actions,in every thing. Yes we have many weaknesses, but if don’t make this decision:”I’m not ging to let this weaknesses be the hindrance gor me to grow. I have to overcome!”, satan will come-a roaring lion, to use your weaknesses against you and will deatroy your relationship with God. All what I’m trying to say is this: Jesus said, ‘if You love me, you will obey what I command.’ And this is what He commanded: LOve God with your everyhting. LOVE one another!….The question is this: do we love Jesus? If we say yes, then let’s obey what He commands. Let’s stop looking at each others weaknesses. Let’s love each other and encourage each other. Let’s judge ourselves if we are living in God’s ways or not……….Liveing like Christ is our greatest lesson! Keep looking unto Jesus-not to the left nor to the right…..Brethren, God is looking at eacj of us, He knows when we are living in His ways or not. MAy we choose to live and walk with Him rather than in the patterns on this world…God bless you all in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Hello, Everyone.I heard about the Heaven is so real and i was kinda scared to read it, but as my friend said satan is only forcing you not to read it.So i agreed i would read the book for my own good.I said what if i get depressed, she answered satan is only trying to make you feel depressed and if i do believe in Jesus and open my heart and welcome him into my world then there is no depression.and i said i had friends who believed in God and they have failed , i said what id that happends to me ,she answered satan is only trying to compete your friend so you get worried and stop you from believing in God.So i said yeah i should really start going to church. And she answered yes we should start going to church. In that book it is said that Choo Nam have seen her own parents in Hell, i should start talking about Jesus more oftne to my parents for whom i shall reunite with my parents in Heaven. It is said the singer who used to be popular on Erath John Lenon was seen in Hell because he said that he was much bigger then Holy spirit.I shall stop praising singers on Earth and start praising towards God.It feels like i have to stop sinning on Earth, i well try my best and if i did then i well pray for the mistakes ive done and ask for forgivness.I well be back and write a comment after i have finished reading the book.So i suggest you read that book as well and learn for your own good.it is said that Choo Nam have seen that book , while she visited Heaven , it is not her book, it is god’s book and she was the servant so she can copy all that down for him.I’am far more intrested in reading that book! And you should have to read too.I heard it is worth your budget. Then buying any book that teaches you how to look pretty on Earth.Anyways God Bless you all!

Dear Sister Hope,
I chanced upon this site as i wanted to know more about Choo Thomas, having just bought the book, HEAVEN IS SO REAL, 2 days ago.
As there are much comments posted in this thread and simply too lengthy for me to thoroughy read them all at this hour (it’s quarter to 10 on a Friday night where I am, in a small country in Asia), but for some reason, i’m drawn to what you wrote. I sensed a very sweet spirit in you and i feel a sadness in my heart to read some blatantly rude remarks/replies made to you.
I’m now at page 92 of Heaven Is So Real….i have to confess that i do not know that much about the Word of God although i do have an active relationship with God and desire to be able to love Him more each day and do His will faithfully till the end.
But just as Keith experienced, I feel the same way…i was shaken and deeply deeply moved by the message of God’s awesome love for mankind thru Choo Thomas’ account. we really don’t deserve this awesome love.
In my walk with God, i’ve learnt that God wants us to walk in love…His love that is, which Romans 5:5 tells us has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. God would never want any of His children to speak unkindly, mock or disdain one another because of differences in opinions over whatever issues or whatever conflicts for that matter.
In the little that i know of our Heavenly Father, i’ve learnt to let God defend me whenever i face conflict situations etc…i simply keep quiet and often times in my experience, God would uphold and defend me.
Instead of dwelling on the peripheral details, i chose to keep to the main message of the book - that Christ is coming soon and we should get ourselves ready for His coming, in and out of season. Choo placed alot of emphasis on the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of our sins and that i feel should be the one main binding cord amongst born-again believers, the pivot on which every believer build their relationship with God - out of gratitude, out of humility, out of love for Who He is.
Though i’ve haven’t read in detail every of your postings, but those that i’ve read, i’ve been blessed by the sweetness of your spirit.
I hope that you will not reply anymore to some of our brethren who oppose this book vehemently. The reason being, if they can post their replies in the spirit of love, that’s well and good. but if they wilfully choose to use words that hurt etc, then i think they should check their spirit. The Lord would never want us to praise and hononur Him with our lips and from the same lips, put others down, pass sarcastic remarks etc just because opinions don’t concur. I just don’t wish to see your spirit being hurt by those who oppose the book.
God is on the throne….we will be held accountable for the things we say. Forget it, don’t put yourself in that position for others to hit you anymore. God knows your heart….
God bless you and your loved ones richly,
Shalom

Hi, here is a great web site discussing Choo’s book. Go to letusreason.org then on the left side to What’s New. Scroll about 12 articles down to “Believing the devils lies more than God’s Truth.” God Bless, Lisa

I can’t believe people are still debating this book written by coo coo Choo Choo possessed by familiar spirits.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, power and a sound mind.
The fruits of the spirit are self control. Why is she rocking back of forth? Why is her “preparation” so violent? Why are demons present in the room when this so called “Jesus” is also in the room with her? Since when does Jesus hang out with fallen angels??? Wake up people, or even the very elect will be deceived!
Just stick to your Bible and use common sense! Geez
June 15th, 2007 at 12:54 am
choo nam praise God for your obedenice to the Lord it as helped me to realise that obedenice to the Lord is so important than sacrfices bless you and thankyou in Jesus.s name
June 15th, 2007 at 6:41 am
This is an Amazing book and WILL change your life… How it changes your life is entirely up to you.
For those who doubt Choo Nam and entertain the ideas that her experiences are the work of satan, then let me remind those people that while satan may try to impersonate God and pass himself off as an angel of light… it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to do good or Glorify God in any way… He CANNOT display ANY fruit of the spirit. It goes against EVERYTHING he is working towards. Just as it is impossible for God to do evil it is impossible for satan to do good. Besides, satan would not do anything to Glorify God, draw people to God and certainy wouldn’t promote the saving of as many people as possible by this book.
That is it… it’s a simple argument for those who know God’s word.
Read this book and be certain beyond any doubt that heaven is real… It’s just up to you wheather you go there.
June 15th, 2007 at 7:40 am
In response to Gabrielle -
Well, first of all I think a little respect is in order and you should use Choo Nam’s name.
Secondly, Your claim that God has not given us a spirit of fear is nonsense… and if you kew God’s word you would know this… Let me give you three scripture verses to back this up.
Jer 5:22 - “Do you not fear Me?” Says the Lord “Should you not tremble in My Presence?”
Prov 1:7 - “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
Eccl 12:13 - The conclusion of the matter and the whole duty of mankind is to fear God and keep His commandments.
On your point about self control, well you are correct that this is one of the fruits of the spirit but remember that the annointing of the Holy Spirit is so very powerful that our earthy bodies just cannot physically take it. That is why shaking often accompanies the annointing of the Holy Spirit.
June 16th, 2007 at 11:04 pm
Ian Gee,
While I understand your passion you, like choo nam are sincerely wrong. There is godly fear and ungodly fear that leads to things like insecurity, jealousy, indecisiveness and many other wrong characteristics. The mere fact that you dont understand such a simple principle lets me know why you embrace such an erroneous book as gospel (so to speak). Carry on.
Nothing you say will convince me since there are many people who say Lord Lord and are far from him. And many religous institutions who save and heal under the guise of believing in Jesus Christ when they are just familiar spirits.
You have not addressed any of the questions of her preparation and how this lines up with the nature of Christ. But it’s up to u to blindly accept what this woman says. She is not God, she needs help.
June 25th, 2007 at 11:48 am
Why is it so hard to believe that Choo Thomas visited
heaven? The Bible is replete with the testimonies of those who have visited the Heavens. In the Old Testament there was Enoch, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and probably others, in the New Testament, there was Paul, and John the Revelator and I’m sure others. Has God changed, can He still not take people there if He so wills?
Would you like to visit Heaven? Would you like to see the throne of God and angels bowing down, would you like to talk with Jesus in Person?? Surely the thought of it thrills every Christian’s heart - ? If you don’t desire these things, well don’t worry about being taken there, I am sure the Lord only takes those who desire to be there. You can read on the internet of Percy Collett who prayed for 7 years for a visit before he was allowed entrance. Before such a visit, one needs preparation, one needs to lay aside earthly desires, one needs to be worked on by The Spirit of God, possibly being willing to give up fleshly activities and spend time seeking God and fasting - even giving up sleep - this is not works, but this is the life pattern we see in those such as Enoch.. etc who have been taken up. It depends on what you desire.. “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart..”
To enter the presence of God is not an easy thing for those who are feeding the carnal nature - but the more we press into the presence of God, the closer we will be to being caught up!!
Lisa, the site “Let us Reason” has some good counsel, but if you’re not careful, sites like that can reason your right out of the presence of God !! Why not find some prophetic sites who are hearing from God sites that can uplift you - There are many of them. Sadly this site criticises Choo Thomas and calls her a liar. In the same article it also denegrades Benny Hinn. I wonder if that site is presenting the Gospel daily to millions as Brother Benny does,? I wonder if that site leads people into the healing presence of Christ as he does?? I doubt it.. Benny Hinn is a blessing to this world. I have been sharing in his ministry for over 20 years and my life is all the richer and sweeter for it. His love for Jesus is very evident and God is able to trust him with a powerful anointing… how strange and sad that christians bad mouth such an anointed man of God. I know there is alot of criticism and questionable stuff around concerning him, but that is to be expected from a ministry such as his.
Jesus wants to take us higher and deeper. I would love to talk with Him in person, to laugh with Him, dance with Him, cry with Him, Listen to Him…this is my heart’s desire.
This the desire of David..
…”One thing have I desired of the Lord, this will I seek after, to behold the beauty of the Lord, to enquire in the temple of the Lord..”
“My soul longs for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the Living God, You are my King and my God..”
Ian Gee, how refreshing to read your comments - your faith is breath of fresh air.
We can experience a bit of Heaven on earth! How Great is our God!!

Greetings Brothers & Sisters in the Lord,
I heard about this book 3 years ago and thought about reading it yesterday. So I searched for the book and ended up here reading about your comments. I was confused yesterday about all your opinions over this book. So I let it go and went home.
I used to fear darkness before I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. But after that, since I know that Jesus is with me, I no longer fear turning off my light before I go to bed. But last night, I was scared when I think of how the book mentioned that demons were surrounding Jesus. Thank God that His HS comforted me and made me believe that this book which produced fear cannot be from Him. Praise the Lord, whose perfect love that drove out my fear!
July 9th, 2007 at 3:11 pm
The Bible talks of demons, does it mean that the Bible then produces fear and is not from God? You need to ask The Lord to deliver you of all fear. Satan and the demons are also in the spirit realm, and they oppose us but you need not fear them as Jesus has defeated them.!
Remember the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in You!! Demons FEAR YOU because of Christ in You!! Do not let them deceive you or frighten you.
I found the book to be one of victory over the forces of darkness, it made me very excited about what God is doing in the world and encouraged my faith. I encourage you to read that section over again and see Christ as the Victor!! The demons couldn’t hang around!!
July 10th, 2007 at 6:24 am
Hi Vivien,
Thank God for you spirit of discernment and the love of the Holy Spirit that showed you the light and simple truth of the deception of this book. I’ve been saying all along that it produces ungodly fear.
Never mind David’s comment. I’m not one for giving advice when it’s not asked for, but I strongly recommend NOT READING THIS BOOK.
When the alarms go off it’s not because you’re not right with God, it’s because the BOOK DIDN’T COME FROM GOD.
Test the spirit behind this book and you will know.
Demons tremble and flee from the presence of God. Many times we see demons fleeing when they recognize Jesus in the Bible.
This is completley contrary to this woman’s book that says that demons were cooly hanging around and observing the “preparation” work this so called “Jesus” was doing by violently shaking and even hurting her physical body.
What were they there for, moral support??? Come on!
Always remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, power and a sound mind.
It is not fear that should lead us to repentance, but Godly sorrow.
Blessings and love to you my friend.
July 18th, 2007 at 2:23 pm
Thank you Gabrielle for your support! I don’t think I’ll read that book. And I do not fear demons now.
To David, thank you for your comments. Thank you for reminding me that demons fear HIM in me.
Regardless of whether this book is from God or not, I believe that He uses everything for good. If this book encouraged you, then I believe that it’s the good part. But since the book has stired up so much discussion, please consider other’s thoughts and pray about it. I pray that the Holy Spirit in you will guide you and protect you. In His holy name, Amen.
July 18th, 2007 at 2:41 pm
Yes, fellow believer, as you say, God has given us a spirit of love and you are called to walk in that Love! You are too assertive in your opinion and too abrasive in your manner, you need to submit yourself to God and to others. We are told to submit to one another out of Love for God and to be gentle with each other. We cannot consult our opinion or reasoning in these matters, we need to seek the heart of God and His opinion! So let’s be guided and directed by His Word and His Spirit.
One only has to read the preface of the book in question to recognise that the writer is submitted to God. It is, I believe for this reason that the Lord is able to use her.
When it comes to fear as I see it, humans are naturally afraid of spiritual beings, be they angelic or demonic. For this reason, the angels usually greet humans with the words, “Do not fear…” God therefore understands this fear. We are to deal with this fear by rising up in our spirit man and rebuking it as well as the demons. This authority has been given to us as believers.
Something to note. The writer mentions the name ” Rachel Scott” and says that The Lord wanted her to include this young girl in the book. This young girl was killed in the Columbine shootings a few years back. Her Life and death are a testimony that all should read. Her life was a blessing and the Lord has used her story to reach many young people with the Gospel. Why would such a testimony be endorsed by the writer if the book were satanic? A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.
Please be loving and gentle in responding to your brothers and sisters who don’t agree with you. This is the Spirit of Christ. God Bless you who are reading this.
July 18th, 2007 at 2:50 pm
The opening paragraph in the above comment was for Gabrielle and not Vivien. Apologies for being out of sequence!! Vivien, your humility is a blessing.

A thought for Gabrielle. Satan was with Jesus in the wilderness, he met Jesus in the Garden and no doubt on the cross, in fact he folowed Jesus closely, even trying to kill him at birth. The New Testament warns us to watch out for our enemy who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Of course, he will have no access to your life if your are vigilent, keeping your heart pure and abiding in the vine. Demons lurk around, unless your life is no threat to them.
Vivien, I praise God you are no longer fearing demons, and I do hope one day you have the courage to read the book. If fear arises, bind all fear to the Love of God because perfect Love casts out fear and know that God loves you.
Remember too, that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him.

I have not finished this book but was curious to see what other’s thought. I agree with Lee that Satan does nothing to glorify God. I also agree that fear of the Lord is natural and is biblical. It is clear that people are coming to the Lord as a result of this book and becoming more serious with their walk with the Lord. Christians tend to get all tied up in doctrine and forget to simply look for Jesus. He expects us to do his work, to be his hands, feet, project his love, to not pass by when we see a need that we are capable of fulfilling. Who do you know that is hungry, depressed, sad, brokenhearted, in prison, ill. Did you show that person Christ? Have you been busy doing his work? Who was the last person you shared Christ with? Christ told us to love God with all of our heart, mind, body and soul and to love your neighbor as ourselves. You walk in kindness when you do this and it hard to break a commandment - God is awesome - he is the creator of the universe - anything is possible with God, even choosing a Korean women with limited skills to write a book to attempt to have the people of this earth to take their eyes off of this world and to look toward the Kingdom of God. There is only one way to get there. That is what is important - Jesus is the only way in.
Much love,
Mac

I have started reading Choo Nam book “Heaven is so Real”. All i have to say now is We should stick the Bible and trust the Holy Spirit to help us in understanding God’s Word. Also we should fear God and do what the Word of God says not what any one says that you are not convince that it is in the Bible.
thanks. King Tony -Nigeria

Gabrielle, where in the book does it say that that ‘demons were cooly hanging around and observing the “preparation†work this so called “Jesus†was doing by violently shaking and even hurting her physical body”?

Jesus was not born during christmas He was born in September/October
The most important event in trying to work out when Jesus was born is the appearance of a very specific angel to a priest called Zechariah. This angel, Gabriel, prophesied to Zechariah that his wife Elizabeth would have a son, John (the Baptist). All this we find in chapter 1 of the gospel of Luke.
What Luke tells us, is that Zechariah was a priest from the ‘house’ (or division) of Abijah (in Luke 1:5). Just a few verses later, we are also told that Zechariah’s priestly house was doing duty at the time the angel Gabriel appeared to him and he happened to be the priest who was chosen to enter the temple.
Now if we make the very reasonable assumption that John the Baptist was conceived very shortly after (or before) Gabriel told Zechariah that his wife Elizabeth would have a son, then this will help us find the time when Jesus was born, as we’ll see just now. (And let’s face it: after the angel told Zechariah that he will have a child, he had a very big reason to try and conceive with his wife!)
But then we first need to find out when was John conceived - or in other words, at what time of year did Zechariah’s division, the house of Abijah, do service in the temple?
We will find that in the Old Testament. In the middle of one of those long lists, in 1 Chron 24:10, we are told that the house of Abijah did their priestly duty during the 8th lot out of 24 lots. These 24 lots were spread over the entire year - in other words, the year was divided into 24 parts, so that each priestly ‘house’ (all of them from the tribe of Levi) did temple service for exactly half a month. These divisions were set up by King David, to facilitate the temple service (1 Chron 24:3).
OK, but that will only help us if we know when the 1st lot (the ‘house of Jehoiarib’) did their temple service. Well, for this the Hebrews used the Babylonian calendar, as they still do today, where the beginning of the year is around end of March, beginning of April (they call it the month of Nisan (Neh 2:1; Esther 3:7)). Right, so this was when the 1st division did their service, for half a month, and then the 2nd division did it for half a month after that, and so on.
If you work it out, by the 8th division it would have been 4 months later, around end of June, beginning of July (which the Israelites called the month of Tammuz). (The reason why we say ‘around’ and not the exact date, is because these dates are in the Jewish calendar, which is based primarily on the moon, and not like ours, on the sun - and so the Jewish calendar moves around up to a month forwards or backwards every year, relative to our Western calendar (the Gregorian calendar). Also, the Jewish months do not fit exactly over ours, but overlap them somewhat, so that’s why we say ‘end of that month, beginning of this month’ and so on. So, in some years the Feast of Tabernacles will be end of September on our calendar, and in other years it will be in October somewhere. (You can calculate it for any year, either by hand, using a formula, or you can find a simple computer program that does it for you.)
OK, so let’s hit a stake into the sand here, let’s fix one fact as certain. We have this fixed point: John the Baptiser, the cousin of Jesus, and the one who would prepare the way for him, was conceived end of June/beginning of July.
Right, then we read, just a few verses on, that in the 6th month - i.e. the 6th month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy - the same angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. On this occasion, Gabriel told Mary that her cousin Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant. Again, we can very reasonably assume that at the time when Gabriel brought Mary the news (that she would give birth to Jesus the Messiah), right about then, the Holy Spirit conceived Jesus inside her.
OK, we’re getting close! We nearly have a fixed time/month of the year for Jesus our Lord’s birth.
John was conceived in June/July, so 6 months after John was conceived would be December/January! So Jesus was conceived around the end of December/beginning of January. He wasn’t born then!
He was born 9 months later, around the end of September/beginning of October - which is the time of the Feast of Tabernacles! (In the Jewish calendar, this is the month of Tishrei.)
(As we said, the Feast actually moves around in our western Gregorian calender, but in the Jewish calendar the Feast of Tabernacles always occurs on the same dates: the 15th to the 22nd of the month of Tishrei.)
So Jesus started his earthly life during the Feast, but he also did important things in his earthly ministry during the Feast. In fact, when you read John 7, you will see that (1) his brothers told him (mockingly) to reveal himself as the Messiah (the Christ) at the Feast of Tabernacles, even though they did not believe in him (v2-4). Why did they tell him that? They told him to reveal himself because everyone expected the Messiah to reveal himself during the Feast, and in fact, many nutcases who claimed to be the Messiah during those centuries, had done exactly that. (Perhaps Jesus’ brothers also knew his birthday was then?). (‘Messiah’ is Hebrew for ‘Christ’ - which means the ‘Anointed’ (of God).)
You see, there was always a great expectation for the Messiah to appear during the Feast of Tabernacles, to reveal himself (see especially John 7:26-27, 31, 40-43 and the great discussion about whether Jesus is Messiah or not). And that is (2) why we see practically everyone expecting Jesus to reveal himself as the Christ during the Feast (John 7:11-13).
Study your Bible and get the truth. If she lies about His birth, what else is truth.

Thank you Carl for your amazing information!! What a beautiful explanation!! I personally wrote to the author and questioned this, her answer was that Jesus chooses to celebrate his birthday at this time because His children do. We ourselves don’t have our party always on the correct date!!
I think this is in keeping with the character of our wonderful, gracious Lord. Even though it is the wrong day, he still responds to our joyous rejoicing of his entrance into the world.
Another interesting thought is that perhaps this birthday is actually his birth into this world and into the womb of Mary (in other words his conception) which if you work back from September 9 months, (human gestation period) you arrive pretty much around the date of 25 December, which is interesting!! So when Jesus says in the the book that He is celebrating His birthday - perhaps he means his birth from heaven into earth!! Just a thought!!

Has anyone noticed the rosary pictures on her dvd? She also says that she is surprised that most Catholics don’t consider themselves Christian. Now, having come from the Catholic church, and now a born again Christian, this sends off all kinds of alarms for me. If she is a God’s prophetess wouldn’t she know that God is very upset regarding idolatry, praying to Mary with beads? Wouldn’t she know that Catholicsm (the church not the people who might be confused) professes a religious stance that is contrary to the bible. I was so glad to better understand, as an adult, that my nonCatholic bible no longer contradicted itself (you just had to take out the extra books the Catholic church put in it). There were many other things that really concern me, and sound an alarm regarding this book. I must say that I don’t see any good fruit, a comparison to be like her (pure hearted? somethings wrong). Choo says she that Jesus said she has a pure heart, but the closer I have grown to the Lord the more I see how deceitful our hearts are and how we need Jesus’s sacrifice for our sins more and more…In my experience the closer I have gotten to the Lord, the more I see my dependence and need for the Lord because there is no good thing in me (as Paul says in the NT).

not by might, not by power, but by the spirit of God! it’s possible to have a pure heart, friends, and even if u may not see it i suppose God sees it … i mean choo didn’t say, “i have a pure heart”, God said she does. well, she said god said she does. but then, that isn’t the point of her story, right, even if the bible does say there’ll be false prophets in the last days … and i guess we just have to let the spirit guide us and tell us if its true and whether to believe it..? i dunno, i just have this sorta feeling, that it’s true. and so i suppose we just have to have faith lor.

Personally I was touched when I read this book. I do agree that sister Choo Nam did not say that her book is the book that we should live by. Instead, many times she went back to the bible. If everyone remembers, when Jesus was preaching, others mentioned that He was moving by the evil spirit. Then Jesus mentioned that a kingdom based on destroying their own works will not be established. Why should the evil one ask Choo Nam to write something that gives glory back to God and urges everyone to be closer to God and pure and obedient?
I was just wondering.. if one would want to have more passion towards the Lord after reading this book, how would this be of the evil one’s plot? Unless someone has negative feelings towards God after reading this book, how can we say that she is a false prophet?
Some might feel sick after reading this book because their hearts have hardened. They feel ashamed after reading this book but we should have a repentant heart, not a cynical heart after reading it.
We should ask ourselves, what we are trying to prove when we are disproving her. All that was done was to prove that Heaven is real and look.. so many have grown passionate towards the Word - the bible… NO ONE IS treating her book as THE BIBLE, so there is no argument here.
If we are judging based on how ridiculous her illustration of heaven is, we need to return and think that none of us has ever been to heaven. If all her descriptions are good, then just receive it, just know that Heaven is good that’s all.
Why get so upset over whether there’s powder… etc… my friends that would be too shallow.
I believe when Jesus said “test the spirits” was then He was mentioning about people following the wrong leader. But as far as I see in her book, everything is according to God’s laws and commandments and is consistent with God’s character. Sister Choo did not ask us to follow her in certain things or urge us to follow another set of beliefs. She didn’t say that she was God, neither did she hold herself in comparison to Jesus.
I urge all not to be led astray by some of the comments her posted by others. Sister Choo shared the vision God has led her. God said that we can judge someone by her fruits and look the churches that she went to were so blessed and were more focused on God.
Let’s look towards God with the same kind of fear and believe God’s words that the end times are near and we should draw closer to His words and commandments.
Let’s not hinder what God has started.

I am so thankful that Jesus spoke to Choo Thomas, and showed her so much
of heaven and parts of hell.
For me, as I read the book “Heaven is so real”, it reminded me of the fact, that I need to be ready at all times for the rapture, and with this report, it has shown me that I am ready, when I trust in Him, and walk with Jesus all the time.
Thank you Jesus!
