In His Time

My husband is one of them. A colleague of mine made a statement “sure got lots of stories when your husband come back from Aceh” I told him “i doubt it” Yep, true enough, yesterday he came back. 2 days earlier coz they worry no flight on the 1st Feb. I have to ask him questions after questions then only he tells what happened there! Later we when thru the pictures he took, then he tells the story…

He came back with a cough, kuih bika, layered cake and lots of dirty clothes. Belle was so shy to see her dad after not seeing him for a week. After that she was so happy to have her daddy kiss, carry, feed and bathe her. After a week staying at my mom’s place, both of my girls had a hard time sleeping last night. Kiki slept at 3.15am! She was awake from 3.30pm! I am so sleepy now. Half day work today, going home to spend time with hubby

Almost a week my husband left us for Aceh without any phone call. The sad thing is, I don’t miss him! I wonder why? Maybe, with my babies around, i’m more occupied to miss my husband. I do count the days for his arrival back home. I dreamt about him twice. But I don’t feel that “i miss u” feeling. I wonder whether he misses me more or his babies.

Saturday, still on maternity leave and i’m in the office. Actually, i came back for a full day work on wednesday. Didn’t plan to come in on saturday tho. A request from my colleague who has been taking over my place since i go off for maternity leave to come in today because he wanted to go shop for CNY. Well…okay lah. “I will come in but I will not do any of my work! Want to catch up on what’s happening to the blogging world.” That’s what i have in mind when i agree to it. hehehe.

At home, woke up late today around 9.15am. Tried to sleep again but i heard my belle asking my mom, “mommy where?” the next thing i know, she climb up my bed and lie down on my open arm, taking my other hand and placing in on her body. wanting me to cuddle her. so cute hah When i’m at my mom’s place, belle will sleep with her so that i do not have to wake up to make milk for her in the middle of the night. When at home, we sleep in the same room as hubby will do it.

After cuddling her for a while, she said, “mommy out”. So we go out from the room, leaving kiki sleeping so soundly. Kiki is what belle calls her baby sister. My dad did not buy any breakfast today. So brought belle out to tapau wantan mee and hee kiaw.

11.30am, received a call from my colleague, giving me a list of things that boss wants me to do! email for payment, call for payment, print another cover letter (he needs that on wed only), print out application form (need his signature) etc. can’t he wait for monday???

Now, i’m here blogging.

Well, my husband is in Aceh right now with the Salvation Army medical team. I’m again stuck here in Malacca with his babies to care for. Since I married him, no more opportunity to go for mission trips anymore When there is, either I’ll be pregnant or I have baby to take care. Sop Sop Sop… Can’t wait for them to grow up. But then ah…I’ll be too old to travel but then ah…You can never be too old to do mission. Sigh…

Dear All, don’t trouble yourself visiting my blog for the time being. Yes, I’m in the office but only for a few days in a week and 4 hours a day only. Came back to help out here and there so that everything will still be in order when I officially start work on 7th Feb. Meantime, Qong Xi Fa Cai everyone!

I’m doing fine but a baby and a toddler is a hand full already. Thank God for my mom who helps to care of them at the same time. Oh ya, my hubby woke up every nite to make milk for Belle! Last nite, Belle stayed over at my mom’s place, Hubby couldn’t get a good nite sleep! So used to getting up to make milk for Belle! Hahaha, now he knows…
