No joke taking care of toddler…my dotdot just recover from fever and yesterday she’s having runny nose. Thank God she slept in the car when i brought her back from my mom’s hse. She continue sleeping until 7.30pm. She wokes up cranky (due to the blocknose maybe), wants me to carry her, doesn’t want her daddy. I can’t as my tummy is growing and it hurts when i carry her too long. So…force her to be carried by daddy since she still wants to be carried. Tried feeding her dinner, refuse to eat also (her last meal was at 3pm-milk). By 8.30pm, feed her medicine, afterwards she drinks 3 ounces of milk then…while daddy is sowing his pants, she starts pulling the roll of thread around the house. Well, at least she’s playing now :) 9.30pm off to bed (very early for her. usually she sleeps after 11pm). PTL for His blessing…In all things…Give Thanks…

Ultrasound

Went for a ultrasound on Monday. Actually is wasn’t planned as my baby is only 5 months old. Planned to have ultasound at 6 months & last one at 8 months. By 8 months you can roughly know the weight of your coming baby. From there you have 1 month to control your food if you do not want to give birth to a huge baby. Huge baby = huge tear. If you get what I mean… Oh ya, the reason I went to the clinic is because Belle is having fever. Teething, that is what the doctor said. Since I am there, what the heck, scan lar… Baby is very active. Position still head up leg down facing infront. No wonder I can feel the strong kick at my lower abdomen most of the time. PTL for His blessings. Oh ya, tummy not so tight & itchy lately. Applied Olive Oil everyday now. It works…

Another Sunday…

Yes, another Sunday…but this Sunday is slightly different…my husband is away in Puchong, and my brother-in-law is back with his 10 months old daughter (Phoebe). So…my dotdot has a company. Phoebe still uses the walker, bigger, heavier n taller than my 15 months old daughter. Still no teeth though. I envy her mom, she’s so so so thin/slim. Thinner than before getting married. She told me it is due to work stress. I would like some stress after my delivery lar…;) Back to my dotdot…Seeing Phoebe in her walker, she waits until she’s up from it and she will climb in and enjoying strolling around the house in the walker. I think she misses it. She only uses it for 2 months because by 8 months she started standing and walking with the help of sofas, cushions and chairs, so refuses to enter her walker.

22 weeks

The baby in my tummy is 22 weeks old / 5 months already. And I’m feelling like I’m carrying a almost full term baby. My tummy felt so tight and heavy. Each time when I stand up or sit straight, I felt like my tummy going forward. My belly button is protruding much more compared to my first pregnancy! I only feel comfortable when I lie down or sit laid back on the chair. I guess it must be the position of the baby. People say that if the baby is hugging the mommy, you won’t feel the weight. I think my baby is sitting the other way round! One advantage of it is, I always feel the movements on my baby but I still pray that my baby will change position. Remember? I have a toddler to carry also?!

I kiss my hubby every morning before sending my dotdot to my mom’s house then to work. Usually he will still be lying down on bed as he starts work only at 9am. Certain morning my dotdot is awake before I leave home and she will observe me doing it. When asked to kiss her daddy, usually she’ll refuse but not this morning. She woke up earlier, playing with her toys while waiting for me to get ready. Just before we leave and before I even kiss my hubby, she walks to the edge of the bed, tiptoe and kiss her daddy! Want to know something else…she will get jealous when she sees us dancing or just cuddling each other…(it’s like, that’s my mommy. don’t touch her!)

Another week passed. My dotdot is growing up fast and the baby in my womb is kicking more often and harder. PTL. I really thank God for Annabelle. Nowadays, she will show affection (like kissing me) without me or my hubby asking her to. Yesterday, as I was watching tv, she just came to me and kiss me on my cheek several time and also at night, before she goes to sleep, she woke me up (i was asleep b4 her) and kiss me goodnite. :) satisfied…

15 Months Old

My Annabelle is 15 months old already and she refuses to call me “mommy”. She calls me…”Che-che”. I still cannot understand why. Everytime I tell her “say mommy” she will say “che-che”! She has no problem calling “papa” thou. Well, I’ll wait till the day she call me “mommy”…

Calcium

Clarissa 2 Comments »

In this 2nd pregnancy, I decide not to consume milk as I did with my 1st one. Just to not get fat. However, sad to say that my body is totally lack of calcium. Having backache almost everyday, to top up to the ache my dot-dot wants me to carry her most of the time. huh! I took calcium pill supplement but still not sufficient. I have no choice but to consume milk. Calcium from food? No way my body can get enough of it from the food that I eat. Why? I eat VERY little. Small appetite for a pregnant lady. I dislike drinking milk for pregnant mom. It taste metallic. So I opt for HL (High in Cakcium, Low in fat!) milk. It smells and taste good. PTL, after taking it for a few days, my backache is gone…

Sunday was quite a busy day for me. My dot-dot woke up early, around 7.30am. My day starts the moment she wakes up. Let her wear shoe and let her feed the chicken, rice. Since daddy around, left her and off me go to buy breakfast. Afterwards, sweep the floor n mop. By 10.30am, hubby left home to preach in CCC. Bathe dot-dot, change her, feed her milk then try to put her to sleep but to no avail. By then it was already 11am. Took her for a drive to my mom’s place on the way, she slept. Wonderful! Left her at my mom’s place and go home to watch CSI. At 1pm, back to my mom’s hse for lunch. By 2.15pm, me and hubby left for Gapam to teach the Orang Asli Children there. 5pm pick up dot-dot from mom’s place. Hubby went for football. Let dot-dot feed chicken again and play outdoor. She loves that. After getting herself dirty, bathe her. Then she wants to go out again. Bring her to my mom’s place again. There, I can relax, eat dinner and read newspaper because my mom, my cousin, my sister and brother is there to take care for my dot-dot. 7.30pm, bring her home. Let her take the “powsem with longan” that my mom steamed for her to cure her phlegm. She poo poo twice that night. By 11pm…she sleeps. That is my Sunday. Basically, the same every week.
